No Oculus Rift here but today I had this message popup. I never ever saw it before.
It was with the 0.6F6 patch though.



And, needless to say, my LFS is indeed installed on a hard drive.
I quit and restarted LFS, and never saw it again.

I finally understood it.

Maybe it's because I didn't race for a long time, but that's where I also get a bit confused.

There's a rotation setting in Logitech software, one in car's setup screen, and a third one (optional) in the car's script file.

I also tend to have real wheel rot=LFS wheel rot.

Then there's wheel turn compensation...
Some say it must be set at 0, others at 1...

Which is the correct definitive procedure in order to have a solid 1:1 match?

Hi pilots.

I'm in the known process of drooling over at Fanatec website.

Apart from the obvious differences between the two extremes "Classic" and "F1" Clubsport rims, what are the other parameters to consider in choosing another wheel among that large Clubsport rims range?

I saw different dimensions, shapes, buttons, etc...
There must also be some % of personal taste, but which is a good "overall" one?

I'm trying to find a comparative over those models but couldn't find one yet.
I'm on a very little mobile phone and browsing is quite difficult.

The recent news in LFS development made me dust off my DFGT and I'm really enjoying it again (though I'm a mostly louzy driver), as many other old-days pilots do and express in other threads these days.

Coming to my question: DFGT is a cheap wheel, we all know, and mine shows (and it always did) a nasty center play which is a real PITA.
With the wheel centered and pointing ahead, while driving on a long straigth, every time I turn few degrees left or right, there's always that little delay in response as if the internal gears were kind of "loose", or whatever...
I can also "mechanically" feel it in my hands: there's that tiny little spot where the wheel turns (just very few degrees), but without generating any output. Then it "engages" again and the car turns. It's not a smooth way of changing direction.
I'm trying to explain the physical feeling. In the end it's just a friggin'center play issue.

With "soapy" cars, as the RAC, this makes things harder than they already are.

I already opened the wheel few years ago, but I couldn't understand where to look at to get rid of it, if at all possible.

So, is it possible to fix it DIY?

Otherwise which brand/model should I get for a decent upgrade?
Is a G27 "enough", or does it show strange issues like this?

Fanatec? Thrustmaster?
