well, after qualifying i managed to get a few setup runs in for the 1st time at this track

@Zen321: Glad the setups helped a bit. a test session would be much better for you i feel. using your own setup with specific answers on what its doing in each corner and tweaking accordingly. i Believe bobs old setup calculator had a good tool for seeing if the car would under/oversteer, though it wouldnt be as much use in the new patches it could help you understand how setup changes make a diffrence to the car. there is a piece i do know of that i will find for you though!
And as for timezones, pick a time like 8am your time and ill probably still be awake here, might be able to arrange something

attached to sets for you to try......will need to change the steering lock back up to full though as i use keyboard or a ps2 pad. but hopefully they should cure your problems. If not maybe we can find a server online sometime and do some setup work

Just an idea if you do want to find a certain racer online thats offered help (or has said to see them on a server) on the multiplayer option theres a "find user online" button. type their username (from here) into there and it will search to see if they are online. Can help if you found a friendly person on a server or a friend on the forum. And dont be shy/scared about the servers, everyone has to start somewhere, and theres always someone nice on a server!

never known the xrr to understeer myself. then again, what steering lock are you using? i find between 10 and 14 works best for keys

Storm cloud was right (again) typical F1 politics, they are now going to do a standard engine.................if you actually want one. not compulsory, just need to be built to same specs (not sure how they would police that). Nice to see cosworth could make a comeback though

yup, mine was going to be 2.5k at 15......or if i got a (reasonably) new fiesta zetec i was quoted 4k! Luckily at 20 as a named driver i got my capri for £1000

what do you pay now jak? If you already pay under £1000 that sounds about right.

notice that he doesnt like anything under 3rd gear? only corners where downforce does the work for him.

didnt think i did too bad for guessing a setup for what could possibly happen for weather (think it was set more to 60% rain then 30%)

pintos are getting rarer here. And also, duratecs are in all ford and mazda ranges, so bits are everywhere. dont fancy the change myself for the moment, maybe when they get more bhp then a pinto
Found it intresting to see how they are built, the crank is right up inside the block so it doesnt even go near the sump

Well it feels ok to control with a keyboard, so dont see why mouse would be a problem ill try and dig up a decent keyboard setup. something i found helped (for some strange reason) was having about 40%+ in the fuel tank.
