Shitloads of White 70 series landcruisers. Some orange trucks, some yellow trucks. But then again i'm on a minesite.

Quote from ColeusRattus :On a sidenote while I definately enjoy the sight of a nice set of boobs your avatar might offend some users especially since there are minors around.

Now I personally don't really think that the occasional nipple will ethically cripple children, but still you might get some flag for your avatar turbofreak.

EDIT: I guess the new one avatar is somewhat better in that respect.

OFFTOPIC: she has nice boobs, but i want to give her a sandwich or something, damn she's tiny :/

Quote from Mustafur :Its just the insane wait for each game to come out that drives people crazy.

that and when you get it, the physics are old school. I'll be waiting for this one to come out, and trying before i get it, unlike gt4 which i pre ordered, and got the morning it came out. They can't keep calling it a simulation if the physics are going to stay very very basic :/

Will have to try lowering the resolution when i'm home, my pc is a bit older, and most of the time the game runs fine, but every now and then :/

Also the servers need a "high ping" kick, sick of trying to play on aussie servers with people from europe with a 600ms ping (seriously, why would you bother??) once u have about 5-10 people like that the whole game just CHUGS

nah i have to agree the controls on PC feel pretty cruddy, i can see how it would be better on say a 360 controller tho. The controls on PC version don't feel, for want of a better term, "natural" when you're trying to string moves together...

Quote from Scawen :I'm not asking you for faith. I'm asking you to make sure you are subscribed to the newsletter.

It's a funny thing how when you create something good for people, eventually you will be insulted by some of them.

Anyway, I am happy that most people did understand my post and haven't taken it negatively.

Making a post got me subscribed to the thread again but I'll switch that off again, to avoid this kind of distraction.

I don't have kids, but i know how much your life changes when you have financial commitments (mortgage, loan repayments etc) so that coupled with the family, it's completely understandable you have less time. I don't think a lot of people fully understand that though, but that's their problem.

working 80+ hours a week to keep the money coming in means you don't have a lot of energy left for other things

The stock Bugatti EB110 Was AWD, at least from what i remember from when it came out. The later dauers etc were modified to be RWD for weight reduction. So the Turn 10 people have it wrong.

To be honest, i can't think of a reason you would want to downshift while under power in a race car, maybe on a road car, with a driver who has nfi how to keep an engine in the proper rev range, but in a race car where it spends most of it's time up the top of the rev range....dangerous..

i vaguely recall some ford laser or telstar recall where the steering column shaft would snap....but hey if 1 electronic throttle issue because it killed some people who were so dumb, they called 911 in a runaway car instead of shifting to neutral, or turning the ignition off is all it takes....

don't use voice act, it's bloody annoying when u can hear people talking in the background, or dropping things etc.

Use logitech software to assign a button on the wheel as PTT for vent.

Cheers for the tips, i'll have to try to obtain some of these series. I've only recently finished reading the small bit of Over Rev Manga that has been converted to english, pretty enjoyable little series when you have a couple boring afternoons to fill Shame the whole run hasn't been translated tho.

its a completely mechanical thing and there is nothing to protect the gears
the simple problem is that its near impossible to disengage the dogs in any car with meaningful amounts of power unless you unload them

you can try yourself with any normal manual car (not advisable to willfully rag your geabox like that but thats not the point)
put it on a safe and empty road... plant the throttle on the floor and then try to pull the stick to neutral while the car is under full acceleration
if the car has any power you wont be able to do it or at least wont be able to do it without applying enough force to feel like youre breaking something in the linkage

Yeah i know its hard to disengage gears when they are under load. But being as most of thr true sequentials in LFS use ignition cut etc, you'd think they'd ignition cut on up AND downshifts, hence i thought it was a protection feature.

IIRC isn't the MRT/FBM having to lift when shifting cos they both run what is essentially a motorbike gearbox? MRT i know runs a motorbike box (having to shift down from neutral)

IIRC the true sequentials in LFS don't allow you to shift with throttle application to protect the engine/box in case of over rev on downshift, or at least thats the way i'd always thought of it. *shrug*

But the Formula 1 car you shouldn't have to lift to shift, or use a manual clutch. sounds like you might have something set wrong in your controls or driver options..

i wouldn't care if it looked the same, if they can make the physics + feel of the game better (and maybe some slightly quicker ways to make money so i can buy more classics without having to grind) i'd be happy.

a whole heap of fairly new cars, only ones that interest me are the eb110, and the furai, if only for the sound. Other than that, fairly average looking cars that are extremely similar to those already in game. But thats just my personal opinion, i know some of you will be stoked with it. Forza needs more old cars imho.

What version logitech software are you running?
Have you updated your USB/chipset drivers?
Power plugged into the wheel?
Does the wheel do a full cycle from lock to lock when you plug the USB cable into the computer?
Did you follow the installation instructions that came with the software, that came with the wheel (iirc it asks you to unplug/plug it in at certain points, if you do it wrong, it doesn't work)

Can you please post a screenshot of your device manager, with USB tree expanded, so we can see what your G25 is being detected as.
