OK here it is, these measurements (throw) were taken from the very top of the shifter knob, and the car is NOT fitted with any kind of quick shift kit, it is a Factory 1987 5 speed AW11 MR2. Numbers rounded to nearest whole.

Stick height from pivot (including shift knob) 190mm
Throw from Neutral to:
3rd - 70mm
4th - 60mm
Left hand (1st and 2nd, sideways only) 50mm
Right hand(5th and Reverse, sideways only) 50mm

Let me know if u need more info, or different info, and i will attempt to aquire it for you.

I have a tape measure now, i can get the throw distances, do you need fotos of the shifter or just the length of it?

I've felt a bit like that, hard to get up, cbf facing the world ever since i was in highschool.
But is was at it's worst when i was @ highschool. Ended up on antidepressants (that really weren't the answer) So i left and started working. I don't know if this is exactly what you're going through, but i spose if you're not happy where you are, maybe it's time to try something else?

I really don't know what else to suggest, except keep trying professionals until you find someone who will listen to what you have to say...

Quote from Shotglass :dont worry i will
ill have do the paperwork to register it in germany first though (still has italian paperwork)

its the second revision with wider rear tyres so it shouldnt bite too hard
the relatively new bridgestone potenza (yeah its a ridiculous name) tyres have quite a bit of grip so pushing it past its limits should be an interesting esperience

luckily except for the alarm and some mobile phone holder on the passenger side the car is completely unmodified (including the us radio which is useless as it only pics up fm frequencies with odd decimal places)

take it to a track day and find it's limits, unfortunately many MR2's have been destroyed going into trees etc. Don't let the grip fool you, they are snappy at the limit. (at least in standard trim)

Depends on the driver, amp, crossover, and type of music you are listening to. I have tended to find those small plastic enclosures to have a very "woody" sound, even when you try to stop them bass coupling with desks/floors etc.

But audio is a very subjective and personal thing, and if it makes you happy, it's all good

LOL moving a coke can with the prodigy? unlikely. Perhaps try some Massive Attack, something from mezzanine album, or some Brooklyn bounce (shit music but loads of bass)

cos drivers that big aren't REALLY subs, they're woofers...run any kind of serious low frequency thru it at high volume and it won't handle it.

If you have an aftermarket soundcard, and onboard, make sure the onboard is disabled in BIOS. Also, i have a Soundblaster X-Fi Platinum, and on the Input side of things, you have to manually select which input you want to use (i'm running Vista 32, TMK XP doesn't require it to be set manually, and i've no idea why vista does, it should just allow multiple inputs, and control over each..)

When i originally plugged my mic in, i had to select it as the default input, and Reboot.

Ever since then it has been fine. Hope this helps

most ffb sticks allow you to turn return to centre off. BTW that stuff looks stupidly over priced. 500 euro for a BASE? and it doesn't come with rudder twist, throttle, or even a stick...sorry thats not goot value IMHO

Quote from Tomba(FIN) :You can't feel the bass with headphones

Yeah mine can rattle my head, i've run test tones down to 10hz, which you can't hear, but you can damn sure feel

there's always the 4x 12" subs if i don't want to use the headphones anyway

Top shelf headphones > speakers

Especially when you're racing/shooting stuff at 3am.
Keeps the neighbours happy not to hear gunshots and screams, or the drone of your engine

NFS:PU was pretty cool. Shame it only had one brand of car in it. But yeah i liked the story mode, liked the car tuning, liked the tracks etc..

Quote from S14 DRIFT :Interesting as a project, or on small scale, but hydraulics are not really suitable for every day use without costing an arm and a leg.

They leak frequently for no reason, for example if you leave it with some hydraulic pressure, it leaks. IIRC hydraulic fluid isn't cheap and I believe it would stain the carpet.

In the interview, he actually states "To keep it simple and affordable we let the fluid leak a little. This is a choice 'by design' and the spilled fluid will go back into the system on its own."

But yes i was thinking the same thing, having worked with hydraulic machinery for a few years now

And as for hydraulic wheel in the future? WHY WAIT

hope you're cashed up tho...
