The Red gear indicator is a feature, not a bug, as it's on all the cars.
Your dash textures are screwed tho, ie in the centre, where its red and black or whatever, not mapped properly, because it's an old texture. (NOT TEST PATCH RELATED)
iirc, 80's subaru's (brumby, leone, and the wagon...was it called a liberty at that stage?) have front wheel handbrake.
Re: handbrakes on cars with disc brakes, that utilize a seperate drum setup: Landcruiser 7x series have this, as does the toyota soarer iirc, thats the only ones i know off the top of my head.
someone mentioned there is some "Fusion Experiment" being built in france that is more of a concern, anyone know about it? Hearing rumours it's like a giant H Bomb, but can't confirm..
Here's what i'm planning on doing once i have the motor/gearbox out of my spare wreck MR2, i'm going to get a reciprocating saw, and cut the floorpan out from the far side of the centre console to the sill, basically from the rear firewall of the cab, to up where the front firewall is. Tech screw a tray in for the wheel, sit the screen up on it etc, and bam simple cockpit. Hoping i can mount the shifter into the original shifter position too. This will mean i can use the MR2's drivers seat, and also have the option later on of having an outgauge dash fitted in place of the factory dash. Also means i don't have to **** around too much making seat mounts and so on. This isn't a competition entry, just maybe worth thinking about, if you can get a wreck for a couple hundred bucks
EDIT: would be even cooler if i could suss out a way to use the MR2's Light switches etc to work in LFS too...
Fair comment, it has been discussed before that that is the crux of the issue. Perhaps that is why the OP thinks it doesn't feel right. It would be almost impossible to tell, unless you get a speed readout of the individual wheels anyway.
maybe not evidence, but the crazy amount of locked front + rear diff FXR setups. Doesn't seem to hinder turn in as much as i'd expect. Or kill the tyres like a real locker does either. *shrug* just a thought
Some cars, when the brake lights are on, turn the park light filament off (remember seeing this on a 1990 camry with some dodgy globes)
Other cars don't (my old corolla lit both filaments when the brakes were depressed) so it was a teensy bit brighter, not much tho
you really need a light to tell you ABS is functioning? Why? Unless its for a Failure(or toggle on/off) of the ABS system, why do you need a light?
just seems a bit redundant to me..
NFS has some serious serious bugs to be fixed (stuck on start line, can't use advanced tuning properly, cars bouncing off the track like they have no shocks) etc.
maybe he's confused as some of the cars that have been updated recently (XRT as an example) have the "spotted" stuff down the sides making it easier to see. Possible he only noticed now he's paying more attention
