eg in the second video at around 0:58 (where the 2 cars land side by side) if you look at it frame by frame theres a lot of weird crap happening that shouldnt be
on the car on the right at least one of the wheels even appears to switch position to the centreline of the car
and in the first video the wheels sink into the ground a lot

is it just me (or just the graphics) or do the wheels do a lot of weird things on landing?

one of them may have to play against the team that is certain to advance who have no reason to use any energy on the game making life a lot easier for the team pitted against them
group stages are fundamentally unfair and no disqualifying players for using that to their advantage will ever change that

its just the nature of group stages that they will produce pointless matches and matches where preparing the next game plays a bigger role than the current one
if you dont want that to happen in a tournament youre running dont use group systems

theres also another perfectly reasonable reason to throwing the game which is saving some energy for the later rounds
ive never heard any complaints about cheating in the football world and euros when they sent out their b teams for the 3rd group game if theyre already guaranteed a spot in the playoffs
