10 points shy of the top with S****horpe, Peterborough and Millwall hot on our heels, will my beloved MK Dons get that second automatic promotion slot to the Championship?

After a lovely hat-trick from Aaron Wilbraham and our general form overall in our return to League 1, I'm saying yes.

I bet Paul Ince wishes he never left to go to Blackburn. Look where that got him!

He could have been a hero to the people of sunny Milton Keynes... Oh well, Go di Matteo!

Quote from DieKolkrabe :1. Nope, Moe runs it

2. It had something to the effect of 'the ORIGINAL one'

Hah, I need to do more crazy stuff then

And aye, PCT still runs

Moe? Never heard of him.

Perhaps I screwed him over on a taxi fare during the days when Fed ran it

No doubt a few of the oldskool like Monty_Carlo and Luigi_Sawyer (Do they still play?) would give me a gleaming character reference if I wanted to return. I was a good RPer, and certainly not a ban worthy person.

Oh well. Wouldn't go back anyhow, wouldn't seem right without Doe riding shotgun, shooting following police cars. Memories are best left in the past

"Updating Steam: 0%".

GRRR.

I'm "Syfoon" on Steam. Usually I'm on HL2DM, sometimes the odd round of CS:S or DoD:S.

Come kill me. I'm rubbish.

This is why I don't go to raves - Then again, if you never posted the link, no-one would likely be the wiser.

To be honest, in my years clubbing, I rarely saw a video camera.

Only times were during the HFTV days and police raids.

I'm with S14 here.

I set my Profiler to the same degrees as the car has, and I get a FFB stop when I go lock to lock.

It's a pain to keep changing the Profiler when changing car classes, but it's worth it. I'm thinking your problem is you either haven't created an LFS profile within Profiler, so it's using the Global setting of 900 degrees, or your LFS profile is set to 900 degrees.

Sometimes the Profiler will go a bit scatty and not lock properly, but it'll still throw 50% or so FFB at me to tell me I've gone past the amount of lock I set.

If you're getting annoyed with having to change the wheel turn amount in Options or the garage, use the scripting system. Spending 30 minutes on scripts has made my LFS time so much easier.

Quote from DieKolkrabe :Checked earlier, apparently you're banned if you go back there

Strange how I never got any complaints there with the stuff I get up to :P

Very strange.

I dunno if Fed still runs LSRP, I can't see him banning me really.

I'm guessing, as it's been several years since I played there (Stopped playing when my friend, Doe, (no doubt you'll have heard about him if you're a big LSRPer) died), is that someone else used the name and was being a bit of a pen0r.

I never did anything banworthy really. Plus being buddies with the big names, and being one yourself, sorta lets you get away with things

Is the LS:PCT still there? That was mine and Doe's project and we were the first leaders. Got a bit boring being running Cuneo after a while. Quite fun to ferry noobs from the airport on the buses and earn small change driving taxis, heh.

Quote from DieKolkrabe :Holy waffles, I think there's still an open complaint about you on LSRP forums O_O

I wouldn't be surprised.

We (me and Doe) were the shared Dons of Cuneo on there for a fair while. As well as beta-testers and top level admins Was a bit of a no-lifer on LSRP for a while, together we ammassed a rather big pile of money and properties.

Good days. I remember the fun abusing the fish command and harassing the filth. Especially Milne.

Used to play SA:MP a few years ago on Godfather and later LS:RP.

I was Rolf_Harris if anyone remembers those days.

Quote from 5haz :The difficulty level is highly adjustable, so its not too hardcore if you don't want it to be.

Yeah you can fly it with keys.

Price varies, but DO NOT BUY OFF STEAM! They don't update the game and they use a modified .exe file which means that the various online lobby systems available wont recognise the game, and it's a pain to sort it out.

Superb, and duly noted

I'll go poke about online. And see if I have any pennies to spare

Is it a hardcore(ish) sim?

Can you fly it with a controller? I don't have a stick

Cost?

Been meaning to play a combat flight sim for a while for something new to do...

My setup is more of a DJ one. Although it sounds fantastic. Lovely and crisp on the high end.

Plus I'm poor, kinda limits me

2x Technics 1210s
2x Pioneer CDJ1000mk1s (Oldskool )
Vestax PCV275 (Gotta have nice snappy faders! Although I'd happily murder several people for a DJM800 and 2 CDJ1000 mk3's)
2x Behringer Dualfex Pro EX2200's
Set of Alesis M1 Active mk2's

I use XFG_SO5_qualie/person who sent me it.

Good ol' cheat sheet with the short names printed out

I just wish the devs would add an option to only be given the short or long names, not a mix of the both.

Depends on my mood.

Sometimes I'll use the paddles, sometimes I'll use the seq. stick, sometimes I'll use the H-gate.

Even edited the .lfs scripts so I can switch over between control sets with ease

Look at older cars.

Sure, they're old, but you'll get more go for your monies.

... until it breaks or you crash it

Can pick old mk4 Escorts in good nick with a decent engine for less then £1500. Not sure about insurance though.

Been looking at RS Turbo's recently so that's pretty fresh in my brain.

Having recently passed, insurance companies might not insure you on something bigger. Buy with caution!

Everyone crashes. You're not a biker until you do

Welcome to the club

I'd say don't bother with the scrapes, they'll just appear again when you bin it the next time. And whack a second hand lever on. I'd think the Kawks all use similar levers, so just find the cheapest one of eBay, study the pictures and see if it fits You'll save yourself a fair bit of cash too.

The scratches are battlescars. A little reminder of an incident you'll come to laugh at. Leave it be, as a memory

My rear brake lever bodged from a shelf-peg is a constant reminder of my 100mph stack in the wet. Bloke at the MOT centre was well impressed with it!

IMO the best audio player about.

FL Studio 8:
MIDI-based DAW/Sequencer. I do all my audio creation in it. Rate it higher then the other Windows DAWs like Cubase or Logic 5.5.

WaveLab:
High end audio editor with VST support...

Waves Diamond:
High end, high quality VST based FX and mastering package. Never thought I'd need 4 different types of limiter!

B-Glitch:
"That" effects unit. Anyone who's into electronic music would have heard something that's been twisted up by Glitch in the last 2 years or so.

V-Station:
Pads, saws, basses, donks, sweeps and lasers. Definitely top of my VST generators list.

PES6:
Can't beat a bit of football. Much prefer the way it plays compared to 08 and 09. Even better with up-to-date transfers, high res kits and hundreds of extra stadia

Pidgin:
I like to harass people. Superb little MSN/AIM/whatever you want client.

Firefox:
Do I really need to explain this one?

Jakes Alarm Clock:
... my bed is far too comfortable.

Quote from MAGGOT :Gran Turismo is miles better than rFactor...

Anywho, I've owned all of the North American GT series, including Prologue (just recently purchased). While I still find the physics quite fun for pick-up and play racing, I am disappointed with one aspect of Prologue: tracks. I understand it's a demo (a $40 demo... and people complain about the LFS demo...) but the track selection in Prologue is shite. The only half-decent track in Prologue is that Norway one. I hate the rest of them.

My biggest gripe also.

I've seen better track selection on kids toy car mats.
