I picked this up recently actually. I'm really not into the rice, but building up a new car from the chassis or rebuilding a wrecked one, and buying wrecked cars to add parts to the project is great fun! I've built up a monster of an MC GT LE with more torque than humanly possible and one hell of a speedy, nippy hillclimber with a Baiern CoupeSport body.

I'm only on v2.2.1 because I think 2.3.0le looks awful and is really unstable on my system. I've explored a lot of the mods, but I'm just on a standard 2.2.1. Is there some way I can drive on mod tracks in 2.2.1? MWM just flat-out does not work for me, and believe me I've tried a lot of things to make it run!

Actually, I need to find some mods like the camber stuff. I'll get right to it! tomorrow

I'd prefer it if TEXTp stayed! But having said that, I can see myself warming to the new layout, although that doesn't mean I want the old layout to go.

That was awful. Where is the lovely HUD? I like to see all that info. And what about some Windows Movie Maker (the pinnacle of video editing technology) effects? The only redeeming feature were those custom engine sounds (although they did sync with the video, which was a pity.) Can you post them here? No seriously, I'd love these sounds!

Haha, that's a coincidence, I picked up that book about a week ago. I decided the idea sounded good, but it was the worst translation possible. I can imagine a Portuguese guy loving this book, deciding to translate it...but not knowing how to write in English. I'm afraid it was absolutely hilarious!

Maybe I should learn Portuguese? I'm sure I'll watch the film at some point, even if I don't read the book. And there must be some better translations around. Now I've got something to search for.
