As for the broadcast: I think it's hard to find better advertising for LFS than this series with a broadcast like the one we had yesterday ... big thumbs up for everyone involved in making it!!

Technically one of the best LFS movies I have ever seen, and it being very different from the regular movies here is another big plus for me.. Unique camera shots, very nice special effects and in general just a great job creating this kind of heroic atmosphere by using the right music and according video synching. Gave me goosebumps right from the start and makes me very proud of our team... I can watch this again and again...One big wow!

I'm saying that for putting down a good laptime, you need, apart from skills, a bit of luck. Because sometimes you just can't get that laptime (after a couple of tries) which you know is possible with the setup; putting the best splittimes together tells you that a perfect lap would mean a better laptime and that all that is needed is more practise with the setup.
With the application you're suggesting, that setup wouldn't be saved, because you didn't improve your laptime. With my suggestion, that laptime would be saved because the split times are faster.

Sometimes your split times can be faster, but you just can't get the splits together.. that's why I think storing setups by split times is much more interesting. Also, this would give an interesting insight on setup changes and their influence on sector times.I don't have time for such a project, but I like the idea! One thing to bear in mind is that sometimes a better setup doesn't make for a better laptime. I would go one step further and save setups for the fastest splittimes.

^ What he said. The right amount of rest is possibly even more important than the right amount of excercises. I don't know if you're new to running, but 5km every day seems quite a lot to me, if you're a beginner. I'd start off with three times a week, max.

And one thing I think is missing in your plans is food. Make sure you take enough carbs everyday to give you the energy to keep this up, and make sure you take enough endosperms (just looked that up with babelfish; wtf? :shy
