Quote from DeadWolfBones :The brakes are the thing I hate most about iRacing.

The structured race times is the thing I hate second most.

The rest is pretty good.

What's wrong with the brakes in iRacing? After switching from LFS to iRacing, the brakes in LFS were one of the things I hated the most about it.

Oh he's in trouble all right. From what I read he'll still be racing at Daytona, which is kind of a joke if you ask me.

Quote from BlakjeKaas :It doesn't, it gets spitted out by the crafting table.

There was nothing around my table, it was just gone. Used to work like you said, but recently the crafting table has just eaten my stuff.

I'm going to disagree, don't see what using the wheel in LFS is going to do for you since iRacing has different physics and just feels different overall. You're going to have to relearn that feeling when you switch over to iRacing either way. If you've been bored with LFS I think you'll enjoy something new in iRacing.

Ugh just lost like 20 lapis lazuli because of that dumb glitch where if you leave something in a crafting table it disappears.

Quote from AstroBoy :Now whos going to pilot my helicopter and bring you awesome arial shots of the hockey ring xD Can i plz be on the whitelist??

Haha I do like your helicopter out there. Also whoever built that huge airplane needs to get it finished because that looks pretty cool as well.

Quote from [RCG]Boosted :btw sorry for the trouble...but many players agreed that it would be the best choice.

New whitelist is not a big deal just PLEASE don't start a new map. If people want fresh then they could go build somewhere else on the current one.

I can't deal with JJ winning another one. I was home for lunch the other day and they had the replay of the Homestead race on SPEED, got to watch Hamlin spin through the grass again, I felt sick to my stomach.

I'm going with Tony this year, he's due to start winning some more races and he's always in contention for the title.

I just learned about the wonders of charcoal last night...not sure how I haven't heard about it before but I have been spending way too much time mining for coal apparently.

Yeah I just saw one last night. Spawned in a tiny little pool right near the surface.

I'm going to have to come check out Lerts soon. My arena is coming along nicely but it is HUGE and I'm going through a lot of materials.

The way I read it, since you got him for $20 then when you release him you get $20 back. The "Salary Cap Value" of your team doesn't changes unless you add/release someone. In the scenario you just stated your Salary Cap Value would stay at $100, and your Roster Value would be $95, which is just a current value of your drivers.

Quote from PMD9409 :I understand all that, but I guess everyone in the league could choose the same driver and be fine? So technically we are not trading within ourselves, but we each choose from the same list etc.

Why would there have to be a draft then? I definitely read about a draft somewhere, maybe they got rid of that for this year though?

Quote from DieKolkrabe :I noticed there's a transactions tab

Anyone know how the draft works? I'd be willing to trade for a higher pick please

I tried looking all over the place and couldn't find anything, guess we have to wait until the week before the 500 to see what it looks like. I have a feeling you won't be able to trade for draft picks but who knows.

Quote from Cornys :Would anybody be interested in doing a full season fantasy spread sheet if I did it along with the one on NASCAR.com? You'd just have to take the spread sheet and tell me which 5 drivers you wanted each week (with out going into the red). This is the one I'm doing with my family that, thanks to open office, I'm going to be doing this year once again. I can add as many people onto it as are interested. It's designed to be like your a team owner or investor for teams each week and you have to try and with the championship without going bankrupt. Each pick costs money, and you get money back for each driver's finish. Money you don't use in each week rolls over to the next weekend. It's different, but alot of fun

Sounds like fun but I'll pass, one league is probably plenty for me.

Quote from Ball Bearing Turbo :However it makes no sense for a subscription based service to be able to run without an internet connection; or in this case a connection to an authentication server.

The issue I have is that I really see no reason why they couldn't run a secondary authentication server that was up during maintenance periods to let people use test mode. I don't really care that much, but it seems like such a simple solution to the problem.

Quote from DieKolkrabe :Good. I got my draft picks set now.

How did you do that? Whenever I go to my roster it says "Roster selection will open soon. Come back the week of 2/14 to set your roster for the Daytona 500!" and I can't find anywhere else to enter my draft picks.

FOX is free, SPEED is owned by FOX but its a pay channel. The end of the season over here is mostly TNT and ESPN which are both pay channels.
