Besides that you can win some little stuff with just watching...
I have to recall my "calls" for unbalanced etc. This race just showed the downsides: Engine damage brakes the FZR, XRR gets stuck in the sand. So the sandpit showed the problem of the XRR. It might have been fast, but that slowed them down a lot. So far I would say: Nothing is proven, as also there is the problem with the disconnects giving new engines (intentional or not) etc. etc.
So we should stop the discussion about the balancing now, enjoy the next races and find a solution for the more important problems.
yes, it should be calced on a timebase, but there is a decent and good way around all that calculating fuss in the league rules. They say always the higher amount of laps is the one to look at.
no, but is Porsche different to BMW in that way? There should be MoE logos, your sponsor ads and game-tv ads. But what exactly are YOU getting from Porsche or Fanatec? Nothing. Game-TV is getting something from them, not you. I dont want to start a fuss about that, but to me it looks like you "sold" the MoE to something you arent really connected to. Anyway, you run the league, and it should be YOU who decide which logos shall be shown there, especially now that quite a lot of viewers can be expected. If you got an agreement with Mika, that he can put what he likes, then just forget what I said
roofcams doesnt work well in patch Y, as you also have the limitations in side and rearviews in the custom cam same as in cockpit. Big mistake by scawen if you ask me (by him).
P.S.: And I dont like the adverts, as this only looks like a fanatec porsche event now, which it isnt.
I have problems with the navbar in opera. when I hover over a point with a submenu, the navpoints placed right of it jump on top of that navpoint. Like when I hover on results, all the other menu points come moving over. see attached thumbnail.
Sorry, I might sound harsh, but: The rules and the balancing shouldnt be the job of the league members.
I'd go for the official weights, and would have given every team the chance to choose a new car. At least in GT1, as GT2 is a different story, due to the fact how the balast and changes were made.
Even doing teststints of 1 hour is by far not enough, as only a number of races on different tracks over 6hours and more will give an idea about the balance.
So: The best way would have been, to go with no weights for the rest of the season, and then see how it went. As the races in the MoE are actually the best balancing info you could get. Stuff with clutches etc. come into here, as the clutch easily overheats in driverchanges @ FZR teams etc. etc.
So what you are doing by adding some weight, based on one hour stints, is actually totally useless. Sorry, but the upcoming race is 24 hours, not 1, and the minimum length in the rest of the season is 6... With all that pseudo balancing right now, you are going to spoil more, than you are trying to prevent.
Nevertheless, we will for sure take part, and take what will be decided as given.

I only partly agree, CP, as you cannot compare the line through the chicane with that. I do agree with the point, that only 10 days b4 a 24hrs event such a decision isnt wise. Additionally to that, your comparison with WE is wrong too, as the overall balance over all tracks throughout the season was nice and fine. some tracks XRR, some FZR.
So the only point that stays, is the short time towards the event.
If there is interest, and some people of you might want to still join the races, as they are great fun, gimme a hint here. Schedule, rules and all see links in first post.
