We try to be very diversified in combos on our server. It's not all-time online - but when it's online, most of the time we have atleast 3-4 team members online. The advantage is: if people see a host with more than one guy driving - it takes about a second until the third joins and so on... But you need at least 2 drivers online.
The server was long time called "Lions Racing Team", not its called "auto² - Facts & Emotions". Alot of TBO on different tracks, alot of LX6, LX4 on different tracks. Currently we have the nearly mainstream combo XFR+Kyoto National activated. But as soon as we get bored (not a long time to go ) we will change it.
Tristan and nikimere already had a go, so far i know. This evening (in 1 to 2 hours) we will be there - always administrated and just there for fun
Hope to see you
PS: Yesterday we had such a good run, we used XRG with Bob's road going set, and the faster ones had to take 4 passengers on board. And all that on never driven before track (FE Gold reverse). So much fun!
we are running a dedicated host in our flat-share: auto² - Facts & Emotions. Today it was the first time i tried to kick someone, but i didn't get his real LFS-Username, only his current Player-name. The problem is, the dedicated host isn't in my room, so i'm unable to use the "/names" command to switch between Player-Names-List and LFS-Usernames-List. I want to be able to kick from my client view logged in as an admin.
How am i able to get the real Username?
PS: I did use the search function, but didn't found a proper thread. And i don't think this fits in the Beginner's section - just because i'm not a beginner
Sorry for my hard words also Big daddy, but you talk crap...! Only my opinion.
@ Victor: Thanks for the revolutionary LFS world and all the other stuff. Like you 3 said in one of the earliest interviews: You don't want to look into all the racing games and just redo them in a better way. You all want to create your very own interpretation of the perfect online racing sim. Scawen did that with the physic way and all that stuff and you REALLY did that with the websites too. LFS World just doesn't look like a website, nor does it look like anything that had been there before. So, thanks for the great work. And remember: we need music for S3 also
If all settings are set correctly, then maybe the computer is the problem. Tried the app at first on my notebook and thought it is some big piece of crap. Because none of the sounds fitted to the game, every sounds were delayed...
But today i tried it on my main lfs machine and it is a lot of fun It really works well...
These are the news i want to read. Thanks to all of you who give us the information. Because we don't get any info about his accident and recovery here in germany...
:dogrun:
Oh no, don't do that... you could think that i'm a wrecker, because i've binded: "I hope you have a good car insurance". It's just funny if any idiot is wrecking some cars at T1 or if a friend just don't get the corner while fighting
I just bought rFactor license for driving on a just released news scratch made version of the Nordschleife. You know why i'am now the luckiest man in the world? Because there is a 48hour money back guarantee... i used it right after 4 hours driving.
The game is just... it's so uncomplete - just the usability isn't really good. The fictional car models just don't look like cars, they do have so many mistakes. And i don't start talking about the physics...
just want to give you some first impressions: WOW. Caterham drift & slalom was superb (pictures and video coming soon). Driving around the nordschleife was a blast too... (pictures and video coming soon too).
What i have now for you, are some prototypes i just got in front of my cam.
BMW M3 (E92) (incl. Video)
Audi R8
Aston Martin DBRS9
Porsche Cayenne Facelift
Mini Traveller
Porsche 911 (997er Facelift)
What do you say?
Nordschleife is ... have no words for it
The "Döttinger Höhe" is the one and only part of the track you could name a straight. It's a bit uphill and it's currently just the very end of the track, if you drive the tourist course. The exit is in the middle of this very long straight.
In races, you have the Döttinger Höhe and some corners after that the GP track...
Greets...
(The two pictures don't show it from the same side, they are about 180° turned)
i have to tell you that for me the next weekend will be something like mind blowing.
On sunday i'll go with some mates to the Nürburgring. And we will fight (ok, we'll drive slow as hell) the Nordschleife with my car. I'm very afraif if the mother thinks to let me live...
But on monday we will take part in a drift training with the LX4 at the Nüburgring (some say, normally it's called a caterham) for the whole day. I'll make a bunch of pics and maybe some videos too.
Oh my god. If we would get a nascar style car - it would be cool. But Please, if this ever comes true: Not one of these new round and ugly ones. We need an old one, of these with sharp edges and a really oldschool body like this one:
