All my mods are public, I just haven't finished it yet, and LFS has become a bit boring for me lately. And I have a lot of things to do in my life, and I don't play LFS at the moment, I'll most likely return to the game and modding when there's an update with graphics and physics, or when there's some news about the update and when it will be.
In my opinion bots should be stronger, but now it should not be a development priority, there are too many more important things to do before that, update with graphics and physics, track editor, dynamic weather, etc.
In my opinion, you are making the same mistake as the authors of this mail, and same that many other people are making in thinking in categories of collective responsibility.
Think about it, did Germany or Hitler start WWII? Germany is a country where there were many different people with different opinions. And I am against equating all people of one country with what the leadership of the country does.
I'm no expert in this area but it sounds bad. Especially given the recent negative news about Cloudflare, Im wondering if it a safe system? I'm also curious if this only affects the site, or if the masterserver is also protected by Cloudflare? Although given the events of a week ago, apparently not.
As a 3d modeler in blender and author of several mods I can see that this is a great job.
But as for the implementation of it in the game I see at least 2 problems. Although it is possible to solve them.
The first is the licensing of Nordschleife track. The track has a license, and for permission to publish in the LFS, you (or LFS devs) must come to an agreement with the copyright holders of the brand. https://nuerburgring.de/business/vip-business/licensing?locale=en
Second, at the moment we do not have access to the functionality of track editor, and it is far from certain that the track editor uses mesh and textures as it is used in the blender. As I remember from progress reports that Eric fixed some holes in the some track not by mesh but in some other way. This indicates that additional work will be needed in the track editor. And if this is extra work for the developers who have to implement the track in the game, then we should be sure that they have the time and desire to do it. And I'm not sure they do. But this will be made easier with the coming of track editors in the public access.

1. Cloudflare did not want to continue working with online casinos for ethical reasons. And for this reason, it first wanted the client himself to abandon the service by giving an unreasonably high price for services, and after client began negotiations they removed cached versions of sites from their servers. Which it has the right to do as a private company. It's just like a bar owner can kick you out without justifying why.
2. Cloudflare did this regardless of what the client was doing on its services, but it found out about the client's income, and just wanted to increase its income through blackmailing him. It should be said that these are partly non-contradictory versions and therefore it can be a variant somewhere in the middle.
I also noticed that the LFS site and servers are still subject to short-term crashes. And I'm not sure if cloudflare helps with that.
Another article, researchers at the MIT have discovered that popular generative neural networks have gained the ability to lie. Artificial intelligence systems use deception to manipulates in order to achieve the goal set for them.
My take is that there is a possibility that people may not survive what happens after AGI occurs, and now we need to take steps to contain it. Just like when we get in the car we put our seat belt on. It's not because we know that we going to die in a crash, it's because as rational actors we tend to evaluate even the smallest probabilities of a crash and take measures to do the least amount of damage to us. I urge you to act the same way in this case. And if you don't agree with that, respond to me in text and argue why it is not so. I realize that not everyone is capable of that, and then you can just put a silly smiley face reaction, because it is so productive
On the subject of rims, I'm a proponent of using the rim editor to create rims. Scawen did do a really good job in the rim editor. But still things are never ideal.
I need to use the spoke object to make a complete rim because there were elements on the rim flange that could not be done otherwise, and also the uniform use of vertices enlarged the triangles too much, I optimised the use of triangles so that I could make all the intended rim parts in the spoke object, in my version the number of rim triangles decreases the closer it is to the centre of the body (the less visible part of the rims) I could not do it any other way. I optimised the mesh as best I could, and I still don't have enough triangles to make a air valve and some other details.
Make some more mod optimizations. Removed hub subobjects for wheel nuts and added them to spokes.
Combined another ~15 textures into one 512x512 texture. And make some others fixes.
Changelog:
Removed 2 Hub subobject for optimization.
Make some textures optimizations.
Fixed some mesh holes.
Changed some mappings.
Added some textures.
Changed default setups.
Thanx to MRc s4rd, found out some info about Cayman GT4 RS CS steering rotation.
Changed vehicle class to GT.
Changed steering rotation to 800 degrees.
Changed steering animation.
Changed lod3 geometry for better colisions.
Changed engine rotation to anti-clockwise for testing.
Changed some mappings.
Уou are welcome. There are no demands on my part. And I have no desire to take time away from the developer either, just waiting creates questions. And if they find it necessary to answer it, I think it will be useful to know not only for me.
Scrolling through the forum came across this forgotten thread.
I'm wondering if a something has changed since then.
I see Scawen is still doing test patches of LFS Editor and minor test patch in game. Although the previous patch seemed to end that would work on the tire physics. I'm not sure if there is time for that now or still working on the Editor and the new LFS test patch. Also there hasn't been an update from Eric in about a year. I wonder what has been done in that time, it would be great if devs could share some info on this.
I also have an idea that if there are only minor changes and testing left in the physics of tires, maybe it’s just better to do a public test patch, where many people can test it and give their feedback, rather than having one person test it?
