Smooth ride, still don't really see the wheels fit though, too 90s for such a classic IMO.
Anyway what sort of interior is that? Back then they certainly didn't come with any form of head rests in the rear, did they?
And what does it look like from underneath? Doors seem to be rotten already.
Eww... not only does it look weird, that silicone stuff will never completely soak in but happily collect every bit of dust it will make contact with. :thumb3d:
I don't quite understand... air pressure building up there? How would you know and how does it affect the performance? I thought race cars had these to enhance ventilation of the brakes.
That's weird, isn't it your's? You could copy the existing stuff and continue on another domain, but I guess it would be hard to catch up from 4 years ago.
On a side note, what do Police officers say when they pull you over? No way that splitter could possibly be legal over here, since someone might hurt his feet walking by, let alone get run over in an accident and have half their legs cut off.
I have to say again, I like that car. Very interesting and unique build that goes well beyond what minds like "Migz" and so many more comprehend of car modification.
What more stuff did you put there, the skirts? Shame you don't update the website anymore.
Oh and usually I'm all against de-badging because it makes a car look hollow. On your's though it works, because the car is a bastard anyway. Also over here in Germany the Speedster Turbo came with a clean front grille and you have that performance thing going, so... approved :P
Most definitely not a top of the range model, as it lacks badging, side skirts and painted mirror covers. You can't judge it much further than that, because the angle and quality of the image hide whether it's got fog lights or even headlight washer units (although I'm sure the latter weren't even available for the unbadged version).
Also it's a pre-2003 model and even the later models are rusty as hell by now. (Have you seen it from underneath?)
So unless it's a 1.4 with very low milage I hope you went well under 600 quid with an up-to-date service history.
On a side note, if you ever had to drive one of these with 998cm³ of 3 cylinder fury and "automatic" transmission I think you'll agree a Scooter feels like a super bike in comparison.
Sweet technique there! I see you used a composite of straight and radial blur on the road, but how did you curve it so tightly? Did you stretch that part, radial blur it and then resized it back to original proportions?
Looks like fractions of a second after the brake discs started exploding but where did the calipers go already?
Oh and of course there had to be fire coming out of the exhaust - unfortunately it's not even as bright as the rear lights.
PS: You don't save THAT much weight by replacing a plastic rear wing with one made out of expensive carbon fiber.
That's just hair splitting. You cannot modify skin files to force a gloss or chrome look on the paint. That's it!
What you can do is manipulate the reflection itself aka "carshine" value in the config file.
However this does equally apply to all the car's body paint, windows, wheels, lamps, number plates, wipers, open wheel suspensions, some roll cages, most of the steering wheel hubs, tacho-/speedometers, fire extinguishers and many things made of CFK like LX4/LX6 fenders, GTR center consoles, door panels!
Thus it will always look either stupid or nothing like chrome.
Well that's the least of your problems. From what I remember Lynce released various reflections that contained ground textures aswell.
However the reflections are generated statically, basically they just mirror the skybox (but I think skies and reflection files are independent so you can change one whilst keeping the other).
This becomes strikingly obvious in environments like Blackwood or South City with lots of track side objects, most importantly trees, buildings and of course bridges!
You can drive through the most rural places in South City as fast as you like - as long as you keep your car straight and your camera still you won't see anything going on in the reflections.
I don't know what it is that makes you hold on to this forum, but I can't see why this isn't a brilliant suggestion.
If I were to choose between new tyre physics, new/updated cars or new track environments, I'd clearly go for the latter.
It would also be something fresh to have point-to-point races in LFS. I think Hillclimb is a fantastic motorsport, mainly because they don't have too strict reglements there, various different car classes and of course these beautiful, (comparatively) narrow public streets that lead through forests, villages and fields.
I can also imagine drifters would love it. Even though LFS is a racing simulation it wouldn't hurt sales for sure!
Well, I'm not going to pay 2000 EUR for a car with 300.000 km on the clock. I would have wanted one but not that desperately.
The 360 is even pricier and for good reason. I would hardly consider affording to run one though, even if it were a gift. Paying a 2.0 L carburator these days? No thanks :P
Anyways I already got a new car before the Winter, it's in good condition and cheap to run - nothing worth mentioning though.
I'm a bit jealous now, considered getting one in search for a new car but all I found were overpriced or badly maintained examples, or keys and documents were "lost".
Is it an automatic version? I read they are expensive to maintain because you have to change the belts every 20.000 km including all the corresponding wheels. Not to mention how annoying it would be to get it out every time, since it's in the back.
Sorry, I'm too young for this, whom does Iggy replace?
Edit:
Ah, thanks
Anyways, considering she looked like a teenager for the better part of her 30s you could argue that she has aged quickly afterwards, however she's still pretty fit for 45 years.
I like all of them except for the fourth. It looks like the car is going 400 km/h but wheels almost lock up. Wheel blur should exceed motion blur. Oh and the smoke/dust looks weird. :P
