Repeatedly lying to the stewards after the 2009 Australian GP about overtaking under the SC is cheating IMO. Also, his involvement in the Spygate scandal is either cheating or extremely close to it.
Hands up who else thought Alonso pushing Vettel onto the grass on the outside of Curva Grande was worse than anything Schumacher did in this race (but neither were worth penalising).
From the 'front page' earlier I saw M listed (which is a true classic). There must be more gems in there and you'd imagine they would only expand the collection from here.
I just had to blow up one of the tyres on my car. I drove to the garage but instead of taking a 20 pence piece the air compressor now takes a 50 pence piece. I asked the attendant why there was such a big price increase. "That's inflation for you", he replied.
I just got a job working with a theatre company. Before each performance I have to test the trap door to make sure it works. What can I say, it's a stage I'm going through.
There's a section in the BMI episode "Roaring VTEC: The Battles at 10,000 RPM" called "S2000 Mega Test & Battle! '04 vs 1st Gen - Just how much better is the '04 S2K". They also have an "MCR Light Tune" model (a tuned version of the 1st gen). Both the standard cars are yellow (one has a blue strip at the top of the windscreen), so it might not be the exact one you're looking for. Worth taking a look though.
I'm looking for the artist name and/or song title of a '90s pop/dance hit. The vocals were done by a woman (who was white and might have been from Israel). The CD single had a purple and black cover. I've done some searches for popular songs of the '90s but I haven't hit on anything yet. This is a bit of a stretch (like most of my identification required posts), but maybe someone out there knows. Any pointers would be much appreciated, thanks.
EDIT: Nevermind, I found it. It was "Freed from Desire" by Gala.
Intake restriction reduces the power/torque output of the engine. Added mass puts more weight in the car (like success ballast). In certain applications you can create 2 or more "classes" using a single car by varying the intake restriction and/or added mass. For example, an unrestricted FZR could be considered a GT1 car. An FZR with 20% intake restriction could be considered a GT2 car.
If you go into the garage and start changing the intake restriction/added mass/added mass position sliders you should see the power/torque/total mass/weight distribution values updating live.
Speccy or HWMonitor should display GPU temperatures. If it's not a temperature issue it could be another hardware issue (such as faulty CPU/memory/motherboard/PSU). You can test CPU stability using Prime95, memory stability using Memtest86+ and both CPU and memory using LinX.
On the issue of corrupted files, I'm not sure how they were corrupted (unless they were being written to or possibly open at the time of the crash(es)). Have you tried creating a second LFS installation and copying across files like your skins and setups?
SuperSpeed RamDisk (desktop) works pretty well. Incidentally, if you're still using a 32-bit system you can use the 'extra' RAM as the Ram Disk (e.g. 8GB installed, 3.25GB available to Windows 32-bit -> remaining ~4.5 to Ram Disk).
Attached a couple of screenshots (the RAM in this system is nothing special, but obviously even lacklustre RAM is still several orders of magnitude better than hard drives).
