I thought you were 'the' LFS Hyperactive. Was a fun night. Those races on the Ring was INTENSE! Me and Volcano had an EPIC 40 minute battle!

Over a lap perhaps, but when the race is that long some other mechanics come in that the usual 5-minute stuff. I like it, even if i'm not bumper to bumper for an hour, you never REALLY know you've got it in the bag until the last few corners.

I have my monitors sitting just above the wheel casing, and find that my actual steeringwheel usually end up jusp about where the dashboard is, so it matches pretty well. Would depend on seatingposition as well. I use a real car seat, so I'm pretty much sat on the floor of the simpit.

If you raised the monitor a little you could get it over the wheel casing and 20-25cm closer to you.

I'll dig up some pictures of my simpit to show you what I mean.

Sweet! I never got around to hooking it up last night. If the vibration is as high as 80Hz then no system should have a problem playing it back. I was looking for some sub-20hz action! 8-)

I'll try it out. I haven't tried LFS on that system before. Will be interesting to check the sound system out on a proper system and a big screen.

Wind noise has a surprising amount of low frequency energy though, and I think cutting it too high will make it sound tinny and artificial.

I'll give it a go with my system and a laptop tonight. My system is plenty capable, and even if I don't have a tactile device I get plenty of couch-moving action during movies. Do you have a waterfall plot of the crash files?
