Well, got seats on row 36 in turn 1, from the 3d representation on the website we are supposed tp be able to se the pitlane more or less head on. Should be good.
My first time in the states, taking the kids to Disney, and just happened to notice the date of the Daytona 500 and thought "what the hell". Not really that interested in NASCAR, but any raceday atmosphere is great in my eyes.
It's also one of the great races of the calendar, and it's probably the one chance I'll have to go there. Not a big fan of NASCAR, but a race is a race. Would be a pity to have it ruined by crap seats.
Looking at seats high up on the back straight, they are cheap and nice view, but no view into pit lane. Should be all right, you'll see better on the big screens anyway.
Hated the Skippy on NTM. Used to love the car to bits. Then I lowered the front tirepressures from default and it clicked into place. Suddenly felt like 'my' Skippy again, only alot better!
Sloshing in Sognefjorden, virtually on the opposite end of the earth. Seismologists assume this is forces from the 9.0 creating some resonance in the fjord.
The new rail options are great! I love making complex and efficient intersections and stations. Nothing like a 10 track station, og a properly executed 4-track intersection!
Dunno, we never got to try Oahu. They say they fixed it to match Ibiza, but if that means they use the same textures or they updated the roads and scenery I don't know.
I din't care anymore. The Beta ended, teh game is gone gold. Didn't even get a 'thank you' and the game pretty much sucks. I may get it if they fixed Oahu to the Ibiza standard, but not if they didn't. Ibiza is just too small to hold interest. You cross the island in a few minutes. Oahu you can drive for hours, just exploring. Ibiza is fully exlored in an hour, unless you drive the speed limits.
Yes, you can. The Matrox software takes care of this. The occational program may not respond to that, but that's a rare exception.
I don't have a review as such, but I can not go back to single screen for racing again.
Also, it's absolutely no issue doing single screen for desktop and triple for gaming or work. You have hotkeys to switch between setups, and it's hassle-free to do so. If you have single screen for desktop and start a game that you have set triple screen, the side monitors will come on and stuff just works. It's great!
I use 3x 24" widescreen monitors. I would recommend getting 16:10 monitors, the max resolution is 5040x1050, which is better suited for 16:10 monitors.
