Depends on what calculator you use, I guess? Or rather, what kind of gallon? What's wrong with SI units anyway? :-)

But yeah, checked it again, and 35 US MPG seems fair for a longer trip. :-) My trackday MPG got even worse at ~6,1MPG.

Edit: Using this calculator

One car.. That's it?

So many other options with a wide range of cars, and you want that ONE decent car?

Quote from PMD9409 :Can we please just work together to make sure Alfa doesn't win? Even if you really aren't a fan of Aston Martin, Audi, or Nissan (the next highest three), they have more potential for a multitude of licensed cars over Alfa.

This!

Sunday July 21st. Dark grey with RK-plates. :-) Would love some pictures!

E85 has some power in it. The FA20 engine is so high compression that it can really benefit from higher octane fuels. Taking mine on the dyno tonight, gonna be fun to see if my tuner could wring out a little extra oomph. Sure feels like it! :-)

I've done consistently better mpg than the ad says, especially on long trips.

According to my tuner he can run significantly more timing on my car with proper 98RON V-power (Norway blend) than he can on the american 93 silly octanes.

My last trackday I used 35 liters on 90km... That's roughly 7mpg.....

35mpg should be pretty easy, unless you are running on that diluted piss you americans call gasoline...

There's a long way from half-finished 3D model to a good implementation ingame....

Besides, I already posted in that thread, so...

Voted Toyota. Maybe I can get my GT86 in the game, and there's Supra, MR2, 2000GT, and alot of other race cars like F1 and NASCAR.

RIP, Paul!

I've enjoyed many of his movies, not just FnF. Cheesy or not, he seemed like a nice guy.

Quote from cargame.nl :Maybe you need to go back for some time to an old fashioned hard drive to experience the lag, heat and unreliability again.

This!

I love my SSDs, but they won't do much for performance in most games, except loading times.

In my mind, the fact drifting is so popular in AC means they did it right. It's like LFS where driting makes sence, hence it's popular. Try drifting in other sims and it just can't be done in most of them, or you have to jumt through hoops to make it happen. Most road cars with rwd can pretty easily be drifted or at least you can hold a powerslide pretty easily.

Hehe. Pulling your chain, dude.

Anyways, drifting and goofing off is fun in real life, but expensive. In a sim it's cheap and fun if the physics make sense, which they sorta do in AC. I can enjoy both sims in both modes.

Servers can still be slow to respond, and/or matchmaking can be slow.

Obviously you're doing it wrong, and/or you're a socialist that can't stand others being different. Sad in any case.

Anyways, I like the sim, except the weird high angle issue and weak FFB.

Depends on if it's waiting for data to load or network to connect, really. Stutters can be anything, including HDD activity.

Won't imporve anything on a game where everything is in memory. On a game that streams terrain or textures while you play the impact can be significant.

I find it's a nice way to evaluate over-the-limit behaviour.

Also, it's fun!

LFS feels completely natural to me, but AC is just a little off compared to my real life experience with something comparable to the E30 M3 (GT86).

I'm talking about the standard new M3, and it's not the only car. Feels like a general issue, tbh... This was with nice and hot street tires after a few laps where I started goofing off a bit and getting it wider and wider, until I hit this threshold where the car just washed out no matter what I did. This made me try the same with a few other cars and I felt the same.

Bear in mind I have a T500RS wheel and the FFB is really vague. Could be just something makes it feel weird through FFB... The FFB "fix" made it even more vague, if anything.

Drove the E92 M3 for a while today, thoiught I'd try some powerslides and drifts since this cr seems to handle that pretty well. Seems you can get it to a certain angle and then it just washes out no matter what you do. Feels pretty good up to that angle though. But it gets that iRacing uncatchable after a certain slip angle....
