There's a setting for which device to use for mic and voice comms. Might seem redundant, but it's actually pretty neat. Means you can have the car sounds on speakers and voice on headset.

Ever tried getting the contrast right while filming off a tv? It's not easy.

Actually, on a well worn track asphalt can look like that in bright sun.

It will be interesting to see how LFS' physics cope with the bumpyness of scanned tracks. I don't think it's a coincidence that the tirephysics are rewritten for the new track...

My BOV is indeed connected to the intake via vacuum, but the vacuumline alone is not enough to overcome the spring and pull the BOV open. If it were, the spring would be too weak to hold the BOV closed at full boost. So in a lower boost config like the car is stock (0.65bar) there is no problem having the spring weak enough for it to open at even a fraction of positive pressure and still keep closed at full boost. My setting is a compromise.

I get the surge when I don't boost more than 0,4-0,5Bar. Anything over will open the BOV properly. If I loosen the spring in the BOV it won't hold my full boost (1,7Bar).

Edit: Here's a little clip. Notice how at lower boost I get surge, higher boost it opens properly. This was on snow though, so there is not many times I get full load and boost, since the revs go up so fast.

We have a huge parking lot here at work, and it's sorta split in two with kerbs. The furthest part is empty, but they cleaned the snow anyway. So, naturally, I played there for 10 minutes before parking my car this morning. I mean, that's just normal, right? The lot can hold around 300 cars, so it's a good sized space.

Well, I got a good telling to by management for my lethal and reckless driving...
So doing awd donuts on an empty, well lit parking lot with no pedestrians, AND protected by kerbs is lethal? No wonder they drive 15mph on bare roads if snow is THAT dangerous. At least I know how my car behave in slippery conditions. They wouldn't know what to do if traction broke even if you told them. And you end up like in the video a few posts up....

I WILL do more donuts, though..

Finally got my rally-rocket back on the road. Only drove it from my garage to work so far,but tonight will be FUN!

AWD+LSDs+snow=Win!

Had a few days of proper cold here now. Was -10C this morning, and the forecast for tomorrow is 8" of snow! Hope to god I get my parts for the car so I can fix it tomorrow morning. AWD, LSD and snow is the best combo EVER!

Well, the patch is out for PC, and it's GREAT! Finally the game is how it was supposed to be from the beginning. It's great fun now, awesome performance and drives really nice.

They have some maintenance going, it was announced earlier that they didn't expect outages, but you never know...

Most european spec cars do this. My '92 Mazda GTR does this.

At least nvidia can now keep some of those that already have Th2G and are getting fed up with the poor driver support. We have been stuck with 182.50 drivers until now.
