Very nice picture quality. But why the hell do even professional film makers have absolutely no clue how to set up a Microphone for recordings? Either they are stupid or they should visit a Doctor to check their ears. Believing that the human ear hears sounds distorted when they are loud is just so... stupid that it hurts everytime I must hear that
They had the oportunity to get fabulous, clean recordings of a flat six. But they don´t even tried to (or even worse: They had a perfect recording and distorted it in post processing).
Edit: Just compare RSnake´s Viper Video to it.

@Stefani24 and Hoshimodo: I guess both of you have other Source Engine Games activated in Stam (HL2 maybe?). After installing the MOD (which is an automatic process) it shows up in Steam. But after starting it tells me that no Source Engine Game is installed (which Portal is, but it doesn´t help).
Even in the Portal Prelude Forum there are people with the same problem... maybe the same people like me, who only have Portal activated in Steam
Edit: Some guy over at the Portal: Prelude Forums found a solution (Post #6) for all those people without any other Source game in Steam... I´ll have to try that now, so long... see you next week
Nice one. I am sure you need some balls to keep your foot on the Throttle at that speed and that angle. At least I guess that he still drove WOT, otherwise he would have spinned out.
No sorry, no Vid of that one. I have one of a pimped E30 M3 on a Dyno somewhere lying around. But I fear I can´t post that Vid. Maybe I can extract the Sound, which is also the highlight of that Video. Nothing to see there... but save your ears. That´s a real Screamer.
Edit: 300hp from a 2.5l N/A engine is more than impressive if it´s true!
I´m in too, but I think I´ll have to get another Webbrowser to download that thing. It just brings me to the NFS Homepage.
Or I play more of that Lego Universe this evening... hmm...
Unfortunately I ran out of "Don´t underestimate" Links.
The Internet is a nice piece of... errm... "thing". The 2 links I posted are Videos I saw years ago. These 2 pictures just made me remembering the Videos, I searched for them on Youtube and found them. Maybe I´ll find something properly for another picture. But today may Brain has to relax from too much work
6th of April was a Tuesday this is why you have seen only cars at the gate to the ring in the evening hours. AFAIK the Ring is opened every Sunday the "whole" day for public traffic if there´s no race on the Ring. And on Weekdays it´s often rented by car manufacturers (I think they call it "Industrietage" / Industry Days)
Don´t underestimate the "T Models". It´s a T2, and the one in the Vid is a T1,5, but you never know what engine it has in the Back...
Watch this (1:00 gets interesting). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYxVI9RE7Hc
Am I the only one who can´t believe how bad the sound quality is? Even my own Recordings of Cars and Motorbikes are of much better quality than what they do with their $$$ Budget. I´m disappointed.
The outside sounds are OK most of the time, but the sound in the car is a joke.
I hate that overamplified sound recordings in Videos and Games where people say OMGZ WHAT A GREAT SOUND! Do they have damaged ears that they hear real sounds distorted too? It isn´t that hard to configure your Audio equipment properly to record a clean sound, no matter how loud it is. Come on...
Great Video. I love the part where´s on 2 wheels on that left hander. And today it´s unbelievable that they race down that straight with all that trees on the side. Without security rails. I think you can see a fence which is more of a psychological security measure than one that really helps if you are losing control at 250+ km/h
IMHO these Ribbons are the best inventions since MS Office exists. It´s never been easier to control the whole Office Suite with Keyboard Shortcuts. The Ribbon bar is the only thing I´m missing in my Openoffice installation.
And many users at work started to love the Ribbons after working with it for a while. But you can never make something that appeals to all people
I´m sure that they did not use any Digicams back in the 30´s
The quality and how big you can digitize these pictures depends on how good they survived over tha last decades.
They can scan celluloid movies from the 40´s up to 4k if they are in good condition.
That stick doesn´t look like a bad choice. Personally I have a Saitek Cyborg Evo Force, so I can´t comment on how well the Logitech is built. But it has all the essential parts you need to start flying. It has a twist control for rudder, a throttle control, a POV to look around the virtual cockpit and numerous buttons.
Other than SidiousX I would recommend a Stick to starters. A yoke is too special IMHO and with a stick you are more versatile. You can fly Stick Aircraft, yoke Aircraft and even Helicopters. The latter one would feel a bit strange with a yoke I think and then you also need rudder pedals to fly a Helo.
That´s too much money for me to get started, so I recommend a stick and not a choke or HOTAS system.
There are hundreds of Gigabytes of Add Ons out there for FSX (Payware and Freeware). A good point to get started is Avsim.
But be careful... you can easily spend hundreds, even thousands of Euros for AddOns and Hardware if you take it serious. But there are also some very good Gems out there which are Freeware.
If you are into Carrier Ops and are fed up with the Default FSX Carriers maybe Javier Fernandez USS Nimitz is something for you. There is also an improvement for the Hornet HUD... and if you need a Trainer, there´s a free T-45 Gosshawk available at AVSim too.
You can extend your Sim experience by joining a VA on vatsim.net, livedispatch.org or one of the Virtual Airlines operating by using the VAfinancials Software. There are endless possibilities...
Edit: And don´t forget to explore the world. Currently I spend a lot of time flying Bush style at very small Airports spread all over the world. There´s the whole world to explore!
Alzen vs. Heger is great to watch. I saw another one some time ago, I think Alzen vs. Manthey als in Porsches of the same era. They still fight today at the 24h race of the Nürburgring, but I swear there´s another, old Video of both racing in a Porsche which will make your heart jumping. But I was not able to find it... yet
That must be the Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss. According to some information I have here 75 where built for a price of at least 892.000 Euro. Supercharged V8, 650HP, 350 km/h and 0-100 km/h in less that 3,5 seconds. I guess you need a helmet if you drive this bullet WOT
