Is there any chance we could get the skin for the new Formula BMW before the patch is released? I am dying to add this car to my Red Bull skin pack

That's why i use custom view.
I really dont like cokpit view, all of USELESS things in my pov : roof, dashboard( radio, other buttons), bottom of steering wheels etc....

That's the beauty of trackIR... I can just slide my office chair forward/back for any view I want :P

How about a SPR of a fast lap? Something without lag will help get an idea of wheel movements etc. Be damned if I can dodge cones that fast!

isn't this option just to cater for competition servers? The competitions have real prizes and therefore must have a level playing field! But noooo... some cry babies want to drive with invisible chassis so they can see the cones better!

Go join a different server. Unless you expect everyone to drive in wheels view in teh competition to make it fair? Yeah no thanks.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot. I'd need new dancer images for new colours as these orange folks have transparent bits on 'em. I'm far too unskilled in PS to figure out how to change those bits, heh.

I'd definitely make 2 or 3 cars in different colours with different numbers as though they're part of a racing team. Good job!

why stop there? How about your engine's power output is directly related to your cpu's power? Those with Dual-core's will be much faster than someone on their nan's old laptop which would run like an old VW kombi van. Perhaps also you can only use slicks if you're running a 256mb video card, and the amount of ram determins how much fuel you can take!

I'm working on an RB4 based off the #83 / #84 Red Bull Nascar livery. I'm not a fan of Nascar but I like the livery, so I'm fixing it to the RB4, minus the giant racing numbers.

Just an hour or so on this one so far.

This is modelled in Richard Burns Rally, and very noticeable on the tarmac tracks in FWD cars - but funnily enough it's one aspect of the sim the devs were unhappy about! Not sure why, I think it's rad

Personally, I don't know how anyone can race whilst people are chatting away and laughing etc. It throws me right off... it seems to only incur silly driving.

Besides, do you *really* want built in voice comms to take up endless hours of Scawen's dev time? Just use TeamSpeak/Ventrilo/Skype/RW

I guess they will have to only race on counter-clockwise tracks or the sponsors will be p1ssed

I probably should have said somewhere that this is a fictional skin, don't think red bull are in any caterham series... if they are let me know, they're in just about everything else

dunno about the yellow... the last version I did was really bright and people didn't like that lol

on second thoughts, it could be a bit brighter... I'll make a note of it for the skin pack edition, i'll probably make colour changes across the board then.
