For sake of consistency I would suggest to remove the Track kit configuration and make a seperate mod with it (Cup version or something like that),where it can have realistic aerodynamics values and settings like adjustable wings, where also addition of slick would make sense.
Because there are always some I-know-it-better people with extra much spare time who need to show their wisdom. Ironically none of them has even started their own better racing simulator.
Motimoukari exits pitlane and enters track right ahead of car on full speed - the following retirement however is just an unlucky coincidental consequence.
* PENALTIES :
ZFRL•Motimoukari - receives 30 seconds penalty added to his finish time for pit exit line violation and not yiedling to car on track racing on full speed.
[MRc] Michal - receives 5.06 seconds penalty added to his finish time for minimum pit time violation.
W33D - receives 10 seconds penalty added to his finish time for pit exit line violation.

XRT is pretty much a base car of LFS - road legal coupe with classic front engine/rear wheel drive layout, while fitted with turbocharger it is upgraded version of one of 2 LFS original cars from earliest ages of the sim. The Historic layout of Aston is very fast regarding average speed - this was the fastest race with XRT in RTFR XL history, beating the previous fastest race by full 10km/h. This introduced some challenge to the combo, being one of the reasons why attendance barely reached the all time average number.
Selecting combo has a potential of having advantage in it - this was one of the cases as the combo selector was one to beat in the race. Driver who uses just a single letter in his name has been winning races latelly in many leagues in LFS,celebrated victory for the 4th time in RTFR XL,starting his 1st winning streak here. The lithuanian was fastest in qualifying already for the 6th time (5th most),led 17 laps in race until his pitstop and retook the lead after his main rival served his mandatory pitstop to cross finish line first with safe 15 seconds gap. His fastest lap of the race was faster than any other driver's best lap in any session of the day - that's the 3rd fastest lap of the race for M,while the top 5 finish count went up to 8 for him. J.Lavrikov has been absent from RTFR XL for 29 events (qualified but did not start in 57th RTFR XL),however also he has a race win in his short record in this event - he did add the 3rd top5 finish with his 2nd place finish, leading a total of 8 laps in this one. The most successful racer in RTFR XL history R.Kardol was no contender for race win, finishing 3rd with 20 seconds gap to winner, still adding record increasing 47th top5 finish to his stats,4th was best of the RTFR XL winless drivers Arska, who finished 4th and last within 1 minute of winner's race time, scoring his 12th top5 finish. Top5 was closed by Unite, bringing home his 24th RTFR XL top5 finish.
* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
Allthough there is no gathered statistic of past races about this,it's still remarkable that from all 18 in results classified drivers only one did not had the pitstop length between 10 and 20 seconds - and that one driver was the one with 0.02s shorter pitstop.
* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
Unite did bring home not only a top5 finish, but yet another clock pitter mention - just like many he pitted just to serve the 10 seconds without any pitwork, spending 10.05 seconds in pitbox.
* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
The driver with only 4 letters in his 6-character name did best progress during the race - starting 16th the pole progressed a total of 9 positions to finish 7th,that's 4 positions better progress than any other driver.

The choice for next combo was relayed to 2nd place finisher as from this year on no driver may select 2 in row - J.Lavrikov has submitted his choice and it will be return of LX6 after 34 races absence in RTFR XL. The selected track is South City's Chicane Route, which will be run in standard direction for the very first time in the series history - the race length calculation results in 66 laps to exceed the 75 minutes requirement. Next week normal RTFR will return with a quite challenging combo, which will use parts of the same track as the most recent RTFR XL race, just in other direction - more info will be posted on the weekend as always. In 2 weeks however server will be handed over to RandomCar,where the field of cars is growing as more and more eligible cars get approved status - the race will be held in Blackwood GP Track reversed.
Season finale in Kyoto was not well attended - with 9 drivers it was the least attended round of the 2024 AWS season, weirdly only a late joiner in qualifying avoided the "half distance for half points" rule to kick in,which is activated with 8 or less drivers in qualifying. So the full 200km race was run and as always racers experienced unexpected turns of events while the finish was quite a controversy.
It's not the first time something like this happened in LFS racing history,so it bound to be repeated also in AWS some day - the day was this sunday, when 2 drivers crossed the finish line within LFS's smallest timing resolution of 100th of a second. As you can see in unofficial results,by LFS the declared winner is one driver, however the other one crossed the visual finish line first. It was decided to put this visual finish line as priority and overturn race results in favour of driver who crossed the visible finish line texture first.
Both lithuanians Sobis and Trespasser started from outside of rows 1 and 2,jumped into race lead already in 1st lap, broke the draft to 2 closest followers, which started their common journey towards victory lane. They constantly increased their gap over closest followers, finishing 14 seconds ahead of them. At the final lap, where all friends turn into rivals,Sobis passed his countryman entering last turn and tried to escape over the finish straight - despite LFS's results, the photofinish picture confirms he succeeded to keep the lead over finish line. That's is Sobis' 3rd race win this season and 5th overall in the league and 30th top5 finish. Ironically Trespasser gifted his countryman a race win in previous oval round in Rockingham, now he tried to win himself but failed and had to settle for another 2nd place finish. League creator Rony scored pole position in Winter 200 for 2nd year in row and 4th time in total, but did not led a single lap in the race, being just in the 1st chase group - he beat his teammate over the finish line to finish 3rd,scoring his 1st podium finish of the season.

Pitting rules:
Race requires a minimum time spent in pitstall of 10 seconds. That can be done either with single pitstop or sum of multiple pitstops. Driver who has spent less time will receive penalty time added to his finish time, which will be calculated by tripling the missing time to complete neccesary minimum time and adding additional 5 seconds. Drivers failing to pit at all will receive 1 minute penalty added to finish time (10s*3 + additional 30s).

These are old images, the big MR2 is long gone, while the small one has undergone multiple rebuilds and damage repairs, but it's still alive. And standing around somewhere packed in a box... But the main idea was to have a miniature version of my own car.
Sunday,17th March
18:30 UTC / 19:30 CET / 20:30 EET
The fast race around Kyoto Ring's oval with FXR has been held in every single season of AWS and additionally it has been season finale in 6 out of 12 previous seasons,so why not also this year? As always this round is all about teamwork - alone even the fastest racer will be slower than good teamwork, however great teamwork is what wins races. 4 previous winners of this round are eligible to compete also this season - maybe one of them can become the first 2-time winner of Winter 200?
As always in the oval rounds we will use hotlap qualifying to ensure solo effort being decisive in order to take high grid positions. The running order of qualifying will be decided from Drivers Championship standings - lowest placed drivers will start qualifying while standings leader will take his run last. Everyone will have to run 3 laps - outlap and 2 timed hotlaps, after which driver should spectate, only fastest lap counts of course. 2nd timed lap is optional - theoretically cars are faster in 2nd lap,but in case of a mistake, driver can spectate without finishing 2nd timed lap.
As usual,to avoid many questions,Race Green Events' statement about bumpdrafting:
"With closed wheels cars it is not forbidden, but in case of any reported incidents it will be treated as intentional contact,so everyone has to make sure that he knows what he is doing!"
23 drivers have qualified for season finale by scoring at least 1 point in AWS drivers championship standings,4 of them are still eligible for champion title, however even the closest rival has a lot of disadvantage to overcome - 10 points gap with 22 points available is everything else than easy task. But unpredictibility of contact based oval racing can still throw things around. Besides drivers championship, also rookie of the year, oval trophy winner and teams champions have to be decided in this race, allthough the last one is almost decided.
This RTFR race brought us back to LFS basics - the good old AWD GTR car FXR was run in Blackwood,in the 3.3 kilometer loop named Historic in reversed direction, which is the course that bypasses the chicane. The race turned into fast paced touring car race - there were a lot of battles for positions, close racing in first half of the track, drafting battles or bumpdrafting cooperation on the long back straight. 29 drivers qualified, which is the lowest participation number of the 2024 season 1,however the attrition rate was low enough to beat lowest finishers count of the season, while it was the longest race of the season in terms of distance.
Lagooga did not attend the latest 19 RTFR races, but returned yesterday with another visit in victory lane. He qualified 1st by the smallest possible margin in LFS - 0.01 seconds, scoring his 18th pole position in RTFR,tying 4th most with R.Kardol. After few lead changes in early laps,Lagooga retook the race lead permanently on lap 8 to drive his car over finish line first, scoring his 9th RTFR race win and 19th top5 out of 20 total finishes. Additionally this was the 30th race win for Lithnuania, which becomes the 4th country to complete 3 full decades of wins. The current 2024 season 1 standings leader M was the strongest opponent for his countryman for race win as he overtook him temporary and led 5 laps, however at the end he could only follow closelly without chances to win the race,so he had to settle for 2nd place finish with less than a second gap over finish line. He set the fastest lap of the race on the penultimate lap, which is his 5th and the top5 finish is his 18th. True Alpha once again qualified on rather low position - 9th,after some early struggles he climbed up to 3rd position and set his sights on race lead, however run out of laps and finished 3rd with less than 2 seconds gap to leader,24th top5 finish for the finn. R.Kardol finished 4th to add another top5 finish to his table leading total - 89,top5 was closed by teammate Unite, who scored his 77th top5 finish.

This was just the 1st of 2 FXR races run by RGE this week - the other one will include way more [bump]drafting than this one - on sunday AWS will hold it's season finale in Kyoto's oval, signups however are closed and only drivers with at least a point scored in previous 6 rounds are allowed to participate. Next tuesday RTFR XL will take over the server - the combo is XRT at Aston Historic reversed. Parts of the same track will be used also in next normal RTFR in 2 weeks - more clues about combo can be heard in broadcast, but full info as always will be posted in the weekend before the race.
Preperations for the 5th annual Race Green race at the enduring Westschleife track have already begun. Just like last year the organization has tested and gathered up a list of cars for selection, consisting of original LFS cars, mods with approved status and mods without the status with usage history in previous events. The list with provisional restrictions can be seen in this spreadsheets table.
Additionally to already added cars, potential competitors can apply other cars to be included in the cars list - we're starting the car applications early enough so we have plenty of time to test and decide the correct balancing. New this year is the addition of "Opel Manta rule" - competitors may apply cars that are not competitive (are slower) with the main PL200W class (based on performance level of LFS standard TBO class) in order to take the challenge of the race distance and the difficult track without the need to deal with relativelly high performing cars. These cars will be marked seperatelly as "Challenger" - this is also a step towards possibility of multiclass racing in this event.
The 2024 event is planned to take place around late april or early may on a sunday evening european time - exact date to be determined to avoid any conflicts with other events. Full information, signups and track layout will be posted at least 3 full weeks before the event.
Applied cars must fullfill several criteria to be added to official event's cars list: Accessibility: PUBLIC from the date of application till end of the event. Car type: Road legal saloon car with closed wheels bodywork,cabrios/roadsters allowed,SUVs,vans, busses, trucks are not. Performance level: TBO class performance is minimum for car to be competitive - ~200 BHP/ton (heavier cars might be competitive with less, lighter might need more),road super tyres required. Higher performing cars will receive appropriate balancing. Aerodynamics: Minimal downforce (max ~350N at 40m/s) acceptable if realistic for car type, minimal drag is 450N @ 40m/s. Configurations: Car must have a configuration without banned elements: Police/safety/taxi lights, rollcage, racecar wings, other elements that don't comply with generic road legal cars rules. Colors: Full skin support required (both sides must be skinnable seperatelly)
* Cars applied for Challenger status does not have to fulfill the Performance level requirement!
To apply a car for cars list of the event, fill this form:
All applications will be checked and tested before added to cars list, organization holds the right do deny any application if it does not suit event spirit. It is strongly suggested to apply cars that are finished in such extent that it does not require any major updates.
Car applications will be closed sunday 12th may 23:59 UTC.

If I recall correctly, that has nothing to do with Layout square,it's just set so in LFS - when you reach such speed,it triggers reset. I'm sure some old tweakers can confirm this.
Mr. Flame asked me to report this directly here - LOD2 is missing both front and rear wings, while also part of rear is also missing, which leads to this weird shadow. Since you made variable wings designs, best solution probably would be to create some "average" desing for LOD2 that casts approximate shadow.
Only with new shadows system shadow will be casted from currently visible LOD (like in LFSE),until then it's highly suggestable to make proper LOD2.
Also the LOD3 seems to be default auto generated, for sake of quality it should be more similar to actual car's shape.
D: means drag (air resistance).
L: means lift, which in negative value is downforce.
Also what you're showing in screen is at 7° wing angle on both ends, while the mod has option to set 0-20° to front and 0-30° to rear "wing",eventually increasing downforce faaaaaaaaaar beyond the values you set on default set (my mentioned ~1300kg at 250km/h). To make it correct, you should remove ability to adjust wings as I personally don't see anything adjustable on the car. If there really is such thing as adjustability of the downforce,it can be only like 3° at each end with rather minor effect. What nowhere is written is downforce distribution - one can only suck out of finger which part provides how much downforce as only value known (also claimed by manufacturer, which not always is real) is the total downforce. Additionally we have unsettable variable in LFS - ride height strongly affects strength of undertray, unfortunatelly we have to live with that until it gets updated.
PS. I'm no engineer either, just a simple handyman with passion for this racing simulator.
The 2nd round of the season practically went under sign of one car model - the coupe version of LFS's own grown XF model. It was drawn for 6 drivers,5 attended and 4 even made in top8 of the results, proving this car has quite advantage in this track. However there was something what this car did not - dominate the race in lead as 15 of 16 laps was led by other car. 16 different cars were represented in this race,5 others were drawn, but the drivers did not attend - after 2 round still 6 cars have not been used, however 3 of those are still locked due new mods regulations.
The driver who recently has won and run in high positions in many different leagues celebrated a race win also here in this league - it was the 2nd race win for M,previous was scored last season in round 3. Despite taking pole position (his 5th in RC) and setting also fastest lap of the race (his 2nd of the season and 3rd overall),he led only a single lap in this race - the last one,as the XF Turbo Coupe is well known for it's race start weakness compared to non-FWD cars, the lithuanian could only see his fellow front row starter flashing by and pulling away on the first lap. After long chase eventually even from 4th position he finally found a way pass competition to cross the finish line first. Winner of season opener J.Holmes got a compact roadster BZ30 for this race and with it could add 15 lead laps to 14 from previous round, however he could not add the 2nd race win to his totals and had to settle for runner up position. Current leading candidate for AWS drivers champion title Sobis finished 3rd in this race, which is same position as he qualified in,however that can be considered as step backwards as he spent plenty of time in 2nd position.
After 2 rounds there are 2 significant leaders in series table - both round winners, who finished 2 in the other round are running away from competition early. M is ahead with just a single point gap over J.Holmes (thanks to fastest lap in both races),Thehemuli is 3rd already 13 points off leader. The defending champion did sign up for this season, however did not attend this round again.
In teams standings B2R keeps building out the lead as they scored most points between teams again,2nd with 18 points gap are defending champions RGA,who scored consistant 30 points in both rounds. Rest are already slightly off - 3rd best team Yes is already 41 points behind leaders. Also in Nations championship the leading nation after round 1 scored most points in round 2,thus increasing their lead - Lithuania is 20 points ahead of defending champions Finland,UK is strong 3rd with another 9 points off leader. Without a driver drawn for round 2,Fraud Wheeler keeps the provisional lead in manufacturers championship, where average score counts - XF Coupe Turbo is 2nd with 1 point gap,Talot is 3rd with 2 points gap to leader. These are quite provisional standings now as manufacturer needs at least 6 scores to be eligible for the title.
With 6 cars drawn the XF Coupe Turbo increased their draws to 24 in total - that's 8 less than both current draw leaders Talot and Imprezzive. M did score best results in both race and qualifying by being 1st in both sessions, beating Twincam's last race's result - 2nd in qualifying and 3rd in race. J.Holmes set new best results for his BZ30 - 2nd in both sessions, beating R.Kardol's previous best by 3 positions in both sessions. Pedro repeated N.400S' best qualifying result of 6th position. Arska set new best qualifying result for Dorito - 10th position is an improvement by 10 positions, however his 16th place in finish was just a repeat of Nosle's result. Jsk was the 1st ever driver to compete with the new Fend Torus, setting initial best result for the car - 20th in qualifying,19th in race, car is expected to perform better in tracks with higher average speed. The only draw fun fact is RD2's 2nd draw of Coquette of this season,3rd overall,he already has other car drawn 3 times - URC1,with which he won the 1st official RC race.
The track for round 3 has been already selected - Blackwood GP Track in reversed direction. Just like the season opener of last year,it will feature a 22 laps race - the long back straight will surely benefit the heavier and more powerful cars, however the opening section will mix things up in favour for lighter cars. FWD cars might suffer start even more for this round - the track has an uphill grid!
Allthough there is no such statistic gathered, there are not doubts this was the slowest AWS race ever - for the first time ever a car with engine power below 200 horsepower was used in this league and it was a long way from that power marker. But that does not mean the race was boring - the twisty Fern Bay Rallycross circuit was well suited for the car and still offered some challenge for the drivers, who could push the tyres all race long unlike in most rallycross races before. With 17 drivers on the grid this was the most attended race of this season.
With a first came another first - Lorenzo was the one who adapted to this combo best and was the one to beat this sunday. Despite gathering up a total of 9 top5 finishes in AWS before this round,he never qualified or finished higher than 3rd position, but this race brought him first pole position and first race win in the league and that after leading all 29 laps of the race. His teammate RD2 stole the fastest lap of the race before starting the penultimate lap which was also a first for him besides the highest qualifying position (4th) and best ever finishing position - 2nd. Also the 3rd place finisher scored his best ever qualifying position (2nd),however he could not keep himself in this position and settled in for 3rd place finish, which is his 3rd podium finish this year.
The table leading position has not changed - Sobis scored decent set of points by finishing 4th in the latest round, but his lead has been slightly reduced as the lithuanian has now 10 points advantage over 2nd place in table, which is now taken by the winner of this round - Lorenzo. Thehemuli has now dropped down to 3rd and has 14 points gap to lead. Even if also 4th place in table Arska is still eligible for drivers champion title,he needs a lot of wonders to happen to delete the 21 points gap. Top5 finish in season finale would secure the 2nd AWS drivers champion title for Sobis, but the unpredictibility of Winter 200 has a potential of late season drama.
One title however is already secured for Sobis - for the 2nd time he clinched the Cross challenge award, which was taken by him also in his championship season of 2019. Lorenzo took 2nd place in this minor competition, his teammate RD2 joined him on the podium in 3rd place. RD2 also aims for Rookie of the year award - the 2nd place finish in latest round gave the lead in this table back and he is now 7 points clear off his only rival S.Martin.
With full 39 points score defending champions RGA increased their lead to 38 points over closest rivals WCL,meaning a 2 points scored in season finale would make the title defence successful in any scenario. WCL on the other hand has secured 2nd place in teams standings as closest rivals LLM have only a single driver eligible for final round,so the 28 points gap is enough. As expected this round secured Nations cup for Finland for the 3rd time in row - 61 points gap over Lithuania is not deletable fully, while also Lithuania has secured it's 2nd place in the tournament. Italy is 3rd with 18 points advantage over other single driver nation,so it should be also relativelly secure.
Only season finale left and it's a round that has been a traditional season finale. The 200 kilometers race at Kyoto Oval with FXR has been an unchanged feature of AWS through all 12 previous seasons,so also in the 13th one AWS racers will have to cooperate with teammates or rivals for better racing pace. With plenty of titles and awards at stake, the Winter 200 might be yet another nailbiter!
I recall Fanaleds application was claiming to support the LEDs,I tried once, did not work so I gave up quickly as it wasn't too important for me. Try your luck and report back for success or failure: https://www.fanaleds.com/
