The long awaited season finale is reached - unfortunatelly without intrigueing battle for main championship title. Still it's racing for pride and glory and it's gonna be held in same combination as last year's season opener - the electrified RX version of XFR will be run in Summer Grass Rally layout. Compared to last year,the car has lost some power and gained weight due battery enlargement,making it slower but also increasing it's range. Still the range is not big enough to complete the 16 laps race with full performance,so drivers will have to find some pace/range compromise. Alternativelly the pitlane is offering possibility to recharge battery,but despite being faster than real life recharge,it's still quite slow and most likelly is disadvantageous. And that 2 times to sum up in 1 round result as in previous electric powered round this year.

Even if drivers championship and nations cup has been decided,there are still few other awards awaiting for their owners - Rookie of the year,Cross challenge,Megawatt award and Teams championship. A total of 29 drivers have qualified for season finale and have the possibility to impact decisions of all open awards - new signups are not possible anymore.

AWD cars do not have regen in LFS. There was some problems with too many differentials.

Regarding showing concrete objects on map - I don't see any use of that in other tracks,but in lots like AU1,BL4 and WE3 would surely be useful to have some markings on map.

Round 2 had 1 driver in qualifying less,however all 32 qualifyers were present on the grid,where only the polesitter was struck by his own connection resulting in the only retirement of the day. Just like in previous round,a total of 15 different cars were represented in the field,3 others were drawn,but never used.

The name of the car turns out to be a prediction - the Ultimate Road Car number one finished the 2nd race as the winner. Texas received the car as the only one and qualified 3rd with it. He slipped in the race lead already in lap 6 to complete remaining distance as leader - 1st ever racewin for the polish driver in Race Green Events hosted races. V.Lagooga with the modified XF model was 2nd fastest in both sessions,but managed to snatch the fastest lap of the race on his penultimate lap. R.Kardol completed the all midengine-rwd car podium with his Starlin,gaining 3 positions during the race.

After 2 rounds it's worth to take a look at the standings - V.Lagooga finished on podium twice and leads the standings by 6 points over his countryman Fast,who finished in top5 in both races. A.Valta is 3rd another 2 points back,also having 2 top5 finishes in the bag.

Team S1dus scored most points in round 2 and took over standings lead in teams championship,currently 13 points ahead of RGA,WCL is 3rd with 24 points gap to leaders. The same old Lithuania vs Finland duel is happening also in RandomCar - Lithuania currently leads by 12 points. Poland is now 3rd with just less than a half of points scored compared to leaders. In the first ever RGE's manufacturers championship there are no doubts about leader - URC1 has won both races and leads table by 8 points over Imprezzive. LFS's home grown FXO is 3rd another 3 points back.

The winner hasn't replied yet so we currently don't know which track will be used in round 3,but that will change on the coming tuesday at latest. What's known is that we will have 1st "on the fly" balancing adjustment - the highly performing URC1 will receive extra 10kg ballast from next round onwards and will be kept under view to decide if another set will be required. Next tuesday the server will be used for event with server's name again - RTFR will return with some fast action,full info will be posted on the weekend. But in 2 weeks the pace will drop significantly as in RTFR XL we will race the slowest standard LFS car!

Of course there isn't one - South City is part of paid content of LFS and therefor users should access it only by purchasing LFS licence (S1 or higher). This means such convertion for other game is actually illegal.

The 4th century of RTFR races was started with the 1st ever return of a mod car. Despite many complaints about the "crapbox" type of the car,attendance was high - 36 drivers in qualifying means that the Shark C will take top position in cars popularity list between cars used more than once. The car received update between then and now,but it did not change it's characteristics - a relativelly simple driving rear wheel drive lightweight car,wich still requires some proper skillset to be over average fast. In the 6.6km Fern Bay Black configuration this car needs more than 5 seconds longer than LFS's slowest standard car UF1 to complete a lap.

Current 2023 S1 standings and 15 race rating leader Gábor was the one to beat also this tuesday - he qualified 2nd just 1/20 of a second slower on a 3 and a half minutes lap,took race lead by outrunning polesitter on way to 1st turn and after the pass was complete,he never saw a car in front of him again. After leading all 9 laps the hungarian scored his 19th RTFR race win and 40th top5 finish,reaching a quarter century of wins for Hungary. R.Kardol started right behind the polesitter and needed much more time to pass him,still he eventually slipped by and was able to reduce distance to leader,but it was not enough for victory,so he had to settle for 2nd place finish,which is his 71st top5 finish,while during the chase he set a fastest lap of the race,which is also a new lap record of the combo - that's his 12th fastest lap of the race. V.Laguckas tied Gábor for 3rd most pole positions in qualifying by scoring his 14th,but lost 2 positions during the race finishing 3rd,which is also his 14th top5 finish. Remaining 2 top5 finishers finished in same positions they started - the freshly crowned 2-time AWS champion A.Valta finished 4th for the 2nd day in row,scoring his 16th top5 finish,followed by Mantas in 5th position,which is his 5th top5 finish.

Next week there is no RTFR,but the server will be used for 2nd round of our brand new league RandomCar - a series,where drivers get drawn their car randomly for the race out of pool of 18 different but balanced cars. If you still haven't signed up for it,do it until evening of monday as very late signups will get their cars drawn just 20 minutes before qualifying. In 2 weeks time RTFR will return with one of the slick tyre cars,as always some info can be found out if watched the broadcast carefully,but in 3 weeks RTFR XL will bring the slowest LFS standard car to the shortest Aston's standard configuration!

The in oval displaced rallycar turned out to be quite challenging especially when run in pack - for better handling cars had to be set up quite loose,which made them quite handful when side by side in turns or when bumpdrafting. Even if there was almost no practice at all,during the race some drivers found out quite effective and yet risky ways to increase pace with common effort.

One of the drivers who used teamwork effectivelly was Michal,who teamed up with his countryman in chase for race lead - that brought success as on the very final lap they caught the race leader and Michal was able to slip by and take the race win. Just like in previous oval round also in this one race winner led only the final lap of the race. It was Michal's first ever race win in AWS in 6 seasons and more than 20 races,his previous best result 2nd place finish was achieved in 2019,which was his vice-champion season. It is bitter to lose the race on very final lap,especially if you started from your first ever series pole position,were a leader for 57 of 64 laps and even had solid 4 seconds lead with 1/4 of the race left. And yet running solo was not enough for Thehemuli to score his 2nd AWS race win and he was able to rescue at least points for 2nd position. M.Kapal was the one who did a lot of the work for the temporary team Czechia in this race,but his reward was just 3rd place finish.

A.Valta could just watch from behind the decision for race win,but his 4th place finish was enough to score necessary points to clinch AWS drivers champions title with one spare round - exactly same performance as in 2016 in his other championship season. With this A.Valta becomes the 1st ever AWS double champion in league's 12 seasons. The current 23 points gap in theory can still be nullified,but with 4 race wins through the season,A.Valta secures upper hand in any points tie scenario. Last year's rookie of the year has now lost his chances on main title,so his focus should be attended to not lose 2nd position - he has 11 points gap over 3rd place driver Michal.

Thehemuli however clinched other award this season - the Oval trophy belongs to him as he scored most points in 2 rounds run in ovals,Michal takes 2nd position and 2019 oval trophy winner Sobis - 3rd.

Since the 1st oval round winner Happyd did not arrive for 2nd oval round either,his gap in rookie of the year standings is slowly cut to just 3 points - if the driver with backwards name repeats same finishing position as in last 2 races,the award is his.

In teams championship there were just minor points differences between scores of 3 leading teams - RGA still has a healthy lead of 33 points,which means scoring 7 points in season finale is enough to clinch the 6th teams title. However the battle for 2nd position in standings intensified - MRc overtook Zafiralis and is now a single point ahead over their rivals. Without any surprise the nations cup is awarded to Finland - even if for the 1st time of the season they were outscored in a single round,the points score was enough to secure the award for 2nd year in row. Also Czechia has secured the 2nd position in standings,3rd is still open,but Lithuania's lead of 27 points is bigger than Italy's performance in any previous round.

A total of 29 drivers have qualified for the season finale - as always only drivers with at least 1 point scored are allowed to participate in final round. And they have to decide the fate of final points standings positions,rookie of the year award winner,cross challenge award winner,megawatt award winner and teams champions title. And all of that will happen in same combo as last season's opening round - the electrified XFR will be run in the green plains of Summer Grass Rally layout. There is a twist however - last season LFS offered a very fast battery recharge,which is not available anymore. That's the reason why the format of electric powered rounds has been changed (2 races) and the car itself received an update - it lost 50kW power and gained 15 kWh bigger battery,increasing the weight by 80 kg. Even with the bigger battery it is not enough to complete each race's distance with full performance,so the drivers will have to manage the energy to avoid a lengthy recharge pitstop.

Rockingham 150 oval race has been run twice in AWS,both times were less oval racing,more a fast road course race with 4 left turns as the RB4 tortured it's road super tyres too much. This year AWS will introduce a different car,which is equipped with R4 slick tyres - even if they do not provide substantially more grip,they provide much more constant grip ensuring the focus on racing the competition rather keeping the tyres under certain temperature. The car itself however might feel out of place - the Fraud Wheeler E2 was designed to be a rally car originally,crossing over to rallycross competitions later,so oval racing will be something new to it. Still a car is a car and can be raced almost anywhere,so in AWS such combo is pretty much standard as the series started with GTR car running rallycross!

As always in the oval rounds we will use hotlap qualifying to ensure solo effort being decisive in order to take high grid positions. The running order of qualifying will be decided from Drivers Championship standings - lowest placed drivers will start qualifying while standings leader will take his run last. Everyone will have to run 3 laps - outlap and 2 timed hotlaps,after which driver should spectate,only fastest lap counts of course. 2nd timed lap is optional - theoretically cars are faster in 2nd lap,but in case of a mistake,driver can spectate without finishing 2nd timed lap.

As usual,to avoid many questions,Race Green Events' statement about bumpdrafting:
"With closed wheels cars it is not forbidden,but in case of any reported incidents it will be treated as intentional contact,so everyone has to make sure that he knows what he is doing!"

Previous round pretty much broke the competition for drivers title as series leader does not need to put much effort in,but in high paced racing mistakes can happen and turn things upside down. Also the winner of Oval trophy is on the line in this round - after the 1st round for this award,there are certain favourites,who have better chances than others.

A north american single seater series car visited RTFR XL this week - it's a 700+ horsepower car weighting just a bit more kilograms than it's power,coupled with high performance aerodynamics and wide tyres it was not really a high difficulty car,but still required plenty of skill to master. Still not many accepted this challenge - only 24 drivers have been counted as attending officially,17 of those were classified in results as finished. With relativelly narrow pit window (about 1/5 of the race distance) there were not much different options,but still some had different strategies,like keeping same set of tyres or taking new ones.

Gábor was one of those using same set of tyres for whole 280 kilometers and that brought him success - he started from outside of front row,kept the outside line through 1st corner after oval's turn and took the lead of the race,which he kept for all 55 race laps. Despite losing most of his lead advantage in late stage of the race,the hungarian still crossed the finish line 1st to score his 4th RTFR XL race win,tying 2 drivers for 4th most,climbing also to 4th position in all time success ranking,it was also his 12th top5 finish. Despit being fastest on track,R.Kardol was denied once again the race win - with much fresher tyres he chased hard the leader,but ended up 2 seconds short,clocking 10th closest finish in RTFR XL history,however he did set the fastest lap of the race,which puts him in the sole lead in this chart - he is the 1st driver to set one in 11 races,also it was his 36th top5 finish. Fatal was the fastest in qualifying,resulting him the 3rd pole position,but his hopes for 2nd win were fading away early with each lap - 3rd place finish is his 13th top5 finish. Zesty however had his best race of RTFR XL - 4th place finish is an improvement by 6 positions compared with his previous best result,while his 6th place in qualifying was an improvement by 2 positions. Number closed the top5 already 1 minute behind race winner and scored his 3rd top5 finish.

* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
With 24 drivers attending it was enough to put this car in lead between all single seater cars in most attended cars chart,6th place overall. FOX is close 2nd with 23.3 racers per race,but had a 41 attenders in the last race.

* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
Is also the winner of the race - Gábor spent 10.22 seconds in pitstall during refuelling pitstop,which is the shortest time from all drivers. Mention worth is Michal,who did a shorter legal pitstop twice,one of them exactly 10 seconds,but his total time is over 20 seconds.

* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
Number arrived rather late in qualifying and did not had much time to set faster laptime,so he qualified 17th,but gained 12 positions during the race to finish in top5.

Normal RTFR returns next week - another mod will be used in that event,which and where can be found out if rewatching the stream of previous race,or simply wait for weekend,when the full info will be posted. But a day before that AWS will take action to Rockingham's Oval using a car that was designed for rally - how that will go? Join and find out yourself! In 2 weeks the tuesday will be filled with our newest series - round 2 of RandomCar will take place in streets of South City,we're currently are still in voting for a new additional car for the series,join our discord server for more info (link in opening post). And there is also some info what will happen in 4 weeks - the racewinner of yesterday's race has already submitted the choice for 75th RTFR XL,which is a repeat of combo from 221st RTFR run 3 years ago.

That's why people normally use white default skin on non-paint schemed colors. In your case player is forced to make a skin when he wants a car in simple one color (red for example) which isn't available in the colors list.

With some settings trickery you can get it wider instead of middle 1/3 - you can have the HUD in the middle 1/2 where 1/4 of each side are not usable,that's a current limitation of LFS. I don't remember what settings I have now (also using 49" on my rig),if you can't find it yourself,later could take a screenshot when I'm at my rig.
