Jereloco - receives a DISQUALIFICATION from race results for leaving car unattended on grid and avoidable incident on lap 28 (increased penalty due previous penalties and warnings). Since the driver has caused a lot of trouble in past and has even received final warning,Race Green Events has no other options and has to ban the driver from all it's hosted events for 6 months starting from raceday of 71st RTFR XL.
「DD」 tBug - receives a DISQUALIFICATION from race results for avoidable incident on lap 1. Future misbehaviour will lead to race ban.

The LFS's fastest standard car set to race in London's boroughs maze-like course led to plenty of high tempers between the drivers, while pitlane was as busy as it has ever been in RTFR events - there were a total of 34 visits in the pitlane,3 of those to serve speeding penalty in previous visits. Even if just 13 drivers from 24 starters crossed the finish line after the chequered flag was displayed,a total of 18 drivers are classified in results, which leads to 75% finishing percentage and highest finishers count in RTFR XL history in races with BF1 (previous highest - 15)
Gábor was the only driver to beat 1:14 mark in qualifying to score his 5th pole position (tied 3rd most),even if he lost the lead in 1st lap and had to follow for 20 laps,he regained it and pulled away from competition to score his 3rd RTFR XL racewin, setting fastest lap of the race on the way, which is his 4th,additionally he scored his 11th top5 finish. The current rating and standings leader Fatal did not saw much of the leaders, but still finished in solid 2nd position which practically seals the deal to win RTFR XL 2022 standings before the final race in december - he also rounded up his top5 count to 10. Fatal's teammate Number started from inside of row 2,but still found a way past the polesitter to lead first 20 laps of the race, but after his 2 pitstops he could finish only 3rd,being also the last driver on lead lap,3rd top5 finish for him. Remaining 2 drivers are teammates of S1dus,making top5 consist only of drivers from 2 teams - Unite finished 4th to score his 19th top5 finish to become the sole 3rd best in the most top5 finishes chart,R.Kardol finished 5th which is his 33rd top5 finish.
* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
This was the 5th race in the SO City Long configuration - the course breaks the tie and is now the most used configuration in specific direction in RTFR XL races. Interestingly during these 5 races the SO4 has seen both ends of LFS's default car paces - UF1 and BF1.
* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
With full fuel tank the BF1 could complete just around 35 laps from 62,so technically no clock pitters by default rules. Still even full refill requires less than 10 seconds for this car,so few drivers still needed to wait after pitwork was finished - Unite had the shortest pitstop from everyone with his 10.06 seconds pitstop.
* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
This time the one with his name in event's logo was the one to gain most positions beween start and finish - technically starting 18th and finishing 6th Rony had a gain of 12 positions in this race. The value was repeated also by Leandro and Michal but as always the one finishing higher counts as better field rusher.

The combo for the final race of the year has been selected and it will bring FXO in the race. But not a standard FXO - this one has been exported to Australia, rebuilt to fit in their local racing series and now reimported back to our virtual country. As you might now suspect,it's the FXO V8Supercar,which delivers over 600 horsepower to it's rear axle, while it's weight exceeds 1500kg together with driver. The venue will be Kyoto National configuration, returning in the event for the 4th time. But that will happen just in 6 weeks from this race - RTFR XL races are set to be run just once in a month and with usual 4 weeks gap it would be 2 races in november.
Until then there will be 2 normal RTFR races - next one already on coming tuesday. The incomplete info about combo was given on livestream 2 tuesdays ago, full info will be posted on sunday.

VERL returns to it's origins - England, where Aston awaited racers with it's fastest configuration named National. The league's nominal distance of 200km was completed in less than 55 minutes, averaging 220.8 kilometers per hour, while most drivers were exceeding 320km/h for their top speed. Unlike in previous round, this time there were plenty of position changes as only one driver finished in same position he started, however these changes were limited in closed groups without mixing between.
From the start it looked like business as usual - series leader being fastest in qualifying, running in lead and driving towards yet another race win. Unite however had different plans - he followed the leader within line of sight for the 1st phase of the race, waited until he turned into pitlane and took the lead which he never gave up. On the final lap of the race Unite even set the fastest known laptime with VERL car in the Aston National, securing also the point for fastest lap besides 20 for race win - that was his 2nd VERL win,the other one was scored 2018. Fatal saw his winning streak cut when he realized that Unite rejoined from pits with a solid gap ahead, still scored 18 points for 2nd place finish and pole position. Thehemuli was one of 2 drivers who were able to climb up 2 positions between start and finish (the other one was his only attending teammate) and finished 3rd to score his 2nd podium finish.
With one round left to run, situation in drivers championship is practically decided - with 21 points gap to only left title rival,Fatal just needs to score a single point in season finale at South City to take the title without needing to worry about any possibilities. Either pole position, fastest lap of the race or completed 2/3 of race distance in any position is enough to score that needed one point. Unite's win in this round kept his chances alive, but the effort was too little and too late - only full points set and standings leader's failure to score a single point can still him put on the champion's throne (alternativelly Fatal's non attendance allows him to lose one of the round bonus points). Thehemuli is now 3rd with 13 points gap to 2nd position,so he also might settle for current position. With leader's non attendance, rookie of the year standings has a new leader - LG-mies overtook his teammate and has 2 points advantage before final round, which is too small gap to start calculate possibilities.
In the teams championship the leading 4 teams managed to get even closer together as both leaders scored 18 points, while both chasers - 3 more. Now there are just 5 points between 1st and 4th - Fragmaster still leads by 2 over RGA,followed by S1dus in 3rd with 4 points gap and Zafiralis in 4th with 5 points gap. Again such situation is way too close to calculate possible scenarios as there are way too many possibilities, the only constant value is Fragmaster's advantage in any tiebreak situation due the 3 wins. Since not a single new latvian driver signed up,Finland clinched the nations cup right with the start of round signups lock out (10 minutes before round start) - not that a new signup would matter as finns scored maximum possible 39 points for the 2nd time in season and has now 3 times more points than 2nd placed nation Latvia. Italy is 3rd with 6 points gap to 2nd position.
After wide and fast Aston VERL drivers might get claustrophobic as next round is set in the urban concrete maze at the South City - the longest configuration is 4 kilometers long, meaning 50 laps is the race distance to endure on the way to glory. Even if the intrigue for drivers championship practically is gone,it will still be a great competition for race win and also teams championship.
Options - Controls - Button control rate - max up to 10 and you will have much faster button response.
Still this is a car racing simulator and you don't see cars in world driving around with mouse or keyboard,so you can't really complain about wheel being in some way advantaged as it is the closest control to the real one - rest is just adaptation to be able to control the car.
Monday,31st October 18:30 UTC / 19:30 CET / 20:30 EET * Note the UTC time change!
Penultimate round of the 5 round series is up next and this has a potential to be a decider - current standings leader can seal the deal with good performance or turn the championship around with some bad luck. Since there are only 6 potential candidates for the title, rest including new potential signups might be more interested to put themselves either in the winners list or polesitters list of the league rather than scoring points for championship,or help their team or nation to score more points than before.
Series returns to England after the low attended trip to tropical island - Aston awaits with the relativelly simple configuration built for high speeds. This will confuse the drivers when setting up car - is it better to have higher top speed or be better in the few turns and compromise the top speed? Being faster on straights will surely mean being slower in the 1st turn of the track, while most other turns are rather slow. Since this is the 1st season with these cars, the selection is quite open as noone has any experience in actual competition in this track.

Pitting rules:
Race requires a minimum time spent in pitstall of 10 seconds. That can be done either with single pitstop or sum of multiple pitstops. Driver who has spent less time will receive penalty time added to his finish time, which will be calculated by tripling the missing time to complete neccesary minimum time and adding additional 5 seconds. Drivers failing to pit at all will receive 1 minute penalty added to finish time (10s*3 + additional 30s).

Blackwood Historic configuration is relativelly short, consisting by 1/3 of one long straight and that results in close racing also with faster cars like NGTs,especially in early laps. That lead to a "big one" - an incident on lap 2 exiting 1st turn, where some rubbing lead to chain reaction involving directly or at least impacting time wise at least 1/3 of the field. Result was a quite unusual 11 pitstops in a 30+ minutes mid-distance race where mostly noone makes a pitstop. Still despite damage and low position expectations, most drivers kept on racing as there were just 2 retirements from 28 starters, which is 2nd highest attendance in RTFR races with XFR.
The last year's champion was on top of the game in this edition of RTFR - R.Kardol's time was tied in qualifying, but just like in LFS's WR standings, the 1st to set best time counts as the fastest, therefor the dutchman scores his 12th pole position in the event, tying Gábor (who tied the laptime) and Litro for 4th most pole positions in RTFR history. By leading all 26 laps,R.Kardol did not see much of competition even if the closest rival was gettting bigger in his mirror in last 1/3 of the race,so he tied another big value in RTFR history - 15 wins (3rd most together with Agent and Merenui, the latter also was attending this race),scoring also his 64th top5 finish. Botsi started 3rd,gained a position soon and finished 2nd just like 4 weeks ago on his previous visit after longer break - 67th top5 finish for him, still 2nd most. Current season standings leader Gábor lost that position to his teammate and finished 3rd to score his 33rd top5 finish, while chasing the leaders he set the fastest lap of the race, his 13th,tying Agent and Fast for 3rd most of those. Current 10 race racing leader Unite closed the S1dus row of drivers with 4th place finish, scoring his 66th top5 finish. Top5 was closed by driver from other team, but still having "S1dus" in his name - a monkey representing the sponsoring team WCL scored his 17th top5 finish here.

Next week is the speed week as RGE will offer 2 events running high average speeds - on monday VERL 2022 round 4 in Aston National will be the fastest round of the 5 round season, which might bring some decisions for the championships. Still new entries possible, everyone can still enter themselves in league history books as competition for current leader is needed - info and signups in VERL forum section. Tuesday is RTFR day and next week it's time for the XL version, which will feature the fastest LFS original car BF1. The venue however will reduce the speeds - South City's longest configuration is a very tricky concrete canyon. But in 2 weeks next RTFR will bring something slightly different - some information was given out in the stream, additionally we can reveal that the track is for next race was tried to be made as autentic as possible for the specific car, more details as always on the weekend before the event.

Where did you get such info? According to Wikipedia,it doesn't even have the current 417HP,but 50HP less. It even weights about 300kg more than the model here.
Anyway - the car with it's high weight has enough power to load the R4 slick tyres to their maximum as we found out in a hosted race, here are the results: https://www.lfs.net/forum/post/2020692#post2020692 (replay is under link to .mpr folder). Unfortunatelly current tyre physics do not support such heavy cars to be raceable,so we need to wait for the long awaited update.
The RGE winter league is closing and the organization is starting to gather up cars list for it,sometimes it's not clear if the car really fulfills the requirements,so this time the RTFR-CCCC was used as a testing ground for a candidate - the 1.7 tons heavy Fend Torus T,which is equipped with slick tyres. Still the heavy weight created such load on the tyres, that the race turned out to be one of the usual tyre tortures, where it's more important to not overheat tyres than focus on racing. Admitted it's also a kind of a skill when racing, but with RB4 and another realistic candidate we have this kind of racing covered already - thanks to the racers this tuesday we found out that this car will not be featured in AWS.
Regarding the race itself - it has a distinctive favourite for the win,as Antonio was fastest in pre-event practice, set the fastest lap in qualifying and led every single lap to achieve something he never got close to in standard RTFR races - a race win (best result so far is 5th place in RTFR). P.Koivunen started the race right behind the polesitter, lost few positions early in race, but later climbed up to 2nd,closing up to leader in latter half of the race to finish 2.32 seconds behind winner, setting also fastest lap of the race during the chase - that's something he never achieved in standard RTFR. 2nd position is a repeat of his best finish in RTFR. Texas was one of those, who slipped by P.Koivunen early in the race, but eventually he lost position to him and settled in 3rd position to finish just over 20 seconds behind race winner - that's also a repeat of his best achievement in both RTFR and RTFR XL.
Next week it's back to the basics - the normal RTFR will return with one of the slick tyres wearing default LFS cars. More info can be seen in broadcast of previous race, other option is to wait for the weekend and read full info here in this forum section. In 2 weeks RGE will offer 2 fast single seater races - on monday the round 4 of 2022 VERL season will take place in Aston's National configuration,on the next day the BF1 will be featured in RTFR XL race at South City's longest standard configuration.
As report says - Unite simply cuts over grass patch in order to pass, which is clear illegal passing situation.
PENALTIES:
S1DUS*uNite - receives 10 seconds penalty added to his finish time for illegal pass on lap 15. Repeated offence will lead to higher penalty.
S1DUS*uNite - receives a warning for unsportsmanlike conduct after the race finish (deliberate crashing). Repeated offence will lead to actual penalty.

Seems like even in virtual world teams are having trouble to ship their cars to Caribbean as once again the Jamaican round had a significant attendance drop. At least there were 9 drivers ready to tackle the challenge and we had the first actual Caribbean 200 as the first try 2 years ago technically was Caribbean 100 due shortened distance. Fern Bay as usually brought a difficult task to complete the race distance with the tricky VERL car, barely anyone finished without mistakes.
Once again Fatal did not have real competition - he was the fastest through whole raceday, setting 1.7 seconds faster laptime in qualifying than closest rival, while he never saw anyone from behind except for lapping. Another full set of round points in his account also in 3rd round of the season. Rony was the best of the rest in this race, barely escaping lapping just before own final lap - 2nd place for the other front row starter. Unite was actually the only one to break out of order - everyone else finished in same order as they qualified. He started 7th and advanced 4 positions during the race (one not legally, luckily for him without actual consequences for now) to finish on 3rd position, but already one lap down.
The situation after the middle round now shows all the cans and cant's - theoretically only 6 drivers are now eligible for drivers champion title, practically even less,as Fatal leads standings by 24 points over Unite, meaning he needs no not let to outscore him in next round to grant the title already before final round, assuming both closest followers won't outscore leader by more than 7 points. These are Rony and Thehemuli, who both are tied in points, where the latvian is ahead due better highest qualifying position. In the 2-men battle for rookie of the year award Motimoukari broke away from his rival by 4 points, increasing his lead to 6 points.
Teams championship is the venue for biggest intrigue this season - Fragmaster took over the lead and has a new rival in form of RGA,which is just 2 points behind, defending champions S1dus now are demoted from lead to 3rd position with 7 points gap, closelly followed by team which fielded 1/3 of the 3rd round's field - Zafiralis. Nations cup however is practically sealed - in theory only Latvia can pass Finland, but also only if a second driver from the nation signs up,if that does not happen,Finland is announced as award winners even before the 4th round starts. In the battle for 2nd position Latvia leads Italy by 8 points.
4th round is the fastest round of the season - the Aston National configuration consists of 3 long straights, connected to various 180° or similar degree turns, each of them in different tightness, while the final chicane will try to trick racers with weight transfer through it. If there is still no competition, then we can assume also drivers championship will be wrapped up before season finale and hope for at least interesting battle for teams championship.
After 12 weeks break the event returns as we're getting closer to winter and with it to our winter league. Already previously RTFR has been used as testing ground, this will be the 1st time when a car will be tested for it's competition ability. On the line is the modern sports sedan carrying all the luxury with it - that's the reason it weights close to 1.7 tons, but with 400+ horsepowers, slicks and all-wheel-drive system it's everything else than slow - the pace is rated to be just few seconds slower than the NGT class cars. R4 tyres is probably the only option on front axle for the race if we have learned something from many years using FXR.
When selecting correct filters in https://www.lfs.net/online/activity there are currently 37 demo servers that are not marked private or cruise, yes, most of them are empty - as long noone joins them, noone joins them, the weird cycle noone likes to break. Just join a server with a combo you like and get yourself some warm up - eventually people will join, with some luck you might end up with a full 12-car grid (max in demo).
I would suggest AA or MRc servers - both are active teams, however I have to admit I have no clue how activelly the servers are admined. Additionally there is GD server, which hosts month long competition where you can even win licence if you're good and active, info here: https://www.lfs.net/leagues/670/season/862
No,you have to manually log out from that device to cancel access to licenced content. However the online mode is not available from the moment you changed GAME password.

The only trip outside England marks the middle of the season - this also marks the point of championship where decision will fall who will still be in the hunt for drivers championship and who will just race for single round pride and help team or nation to gather points for collective effort. Currently series has a distinctive leader, who can increase his lead to raise chance of securing title before season finale, but even in simulator this is a technical sport - technologies have still the margin of error with influencing consequences,so nothing has been decided yet!
The Caribbean island has it's own unique track - Fern Bay differs from all other LFS environments with it's specifics and therefor has it's own challenges. The Gold configuration is 3.5 kilometers long and it's required to circle the track 57 times to complete VERL nominal race distance of 200 kilometers. The first attempt did not succeed and due low attendance the race distance was halved as per ruling,so this might be the 1st ever actual Caribbean 200. The configuration includes plenty of challenging sections, requiring both precise handling and throttle control - faster turns are quite dependant of aerodynamic help,so rather high downforce setups are expected from drivers.
* PENALTIES :
「DD」 tBug - receives a WARNING for extreme track cutting during qualifying, adittionally his laptime was removed from results as he failed to improve it with legal lap.
TomTom - the unserver drive through penalty is converted to 30 seconds penalty added to finish time as per standard LFS rules.

The very classic XRT was featured in this edition of RTFR and it was introduced to a brand new custom configuration of Rockingham - an extended version of ISSC that surpasses the 1st hairpin with a route previously used in STARL. The combo required skills to handle the car at high speeds through 3 oval turns besides the usually needed road course racing. The fast approach to the new 1st hairpin created a new opportunity for passes as seen on broadcast - some not so successful.
Current 10-race rating leader Unite started from 5th position and climbed up to 3rd during first 7 laps until 2 leaders had a physical dispute at end of lap 7. The finn found a way past the 2 slowed down cars and led the remaining laps to cross finish line first to enter the 2nd decade of race wins, passing Fast for 7th most wins in RTFR,early in the race he also set the fastest lap of the race, which is his 24th,also adding 65th top5 finish to his stats - one less than all time 2nd most of Botsi. Also Gábor profited from same incident between 2 early leaders to improve positions, however he had to race hard to keep the 2nd position in last few laps - the success earned him the 32nd top5 finish. R.Kardol was the one to try the pass for lead at the end of lap 7,but the 2 cars aiming for same piece of tarmac caused multiple position loss instead of lead gain,so the dutchman could salvage 3rd position with some luck - 63rd top 5 finish for him and full podium lock up for the team for 2nd race in row. A.Valta was the only driver to beat 2:02 mark in qualifying, scoring his 7th pole position in RTFR,but after the mentioned incident he lost his lead and after some battles he had to concede to 4th position in finish, which is his 11th top5 finish. Despite qualifying 3rd,Fatal never was a competitor for win, lost 2 positions to finish 5th,that's his 17th top5 finish.
