Yes there is some sort of test button on the replay menu. It will however put you in the driver seat of the car in the replay, with the same setup, fuel load, (driver aids?) etc. You will not be able to race a shadow of the original car which you may by using the ghost car mod by the K-man.
Earlier, I've had heaps of trouble with my servers:
People suddenly getting disconnected for no (apparent) reason.
People have not been able to connect ("Did not receive guest info").
Server has, as far as I know, stopped sending UDP packets resulting in "ghost" races.
However, lately all problems seem to have seized. I have not restarted any of my servers since April 19th (which is a relatively long time compared to earlier, when the servers had to be restarted about once a week). It's probably worth mentioning that the servers were not restarted because of a problem, but because W10 was released.
As far as I can remember, my box's configuration has not changed since the problems disappeared.
Are you sure that's all thermal throttling does? I remember seeing a video (at Tom's hardware iirc) where they removed the heatsink from a stressed CPU. The system was not turned off. Instead, the CPU slowed down causing a major FPS drop in the game which was running. The FPS instantly increased again as they re-applied the hs.
(The AMD cpu beside the Intel CPU which underwent the same test did however BURN ).
3 years? That means your team was formed just a few weeks after I started playing LFS. But still I remember thinking of dSRC as a very admirable team. (Still do!)
If you're in a offline race with more than one AI and end the race with the /end command the race will (re)start as soon as you remove one AI. That is, without you pressing the GO button. This bug does not appear if you use the End Race button in the Escape menu to end the race.
Thank you! I will apply your Pepsi skin. Unfortunately mikebydzine has not given me his permission to use his skins. If that was the skin you were talking about ...
Niki from my experiences these problems go away by themselves eventually. What I am saying is: Maybe your ISP is just having problems right now and that you should not try to fix what is not (really) broken.
The meeting room comes in handy when you and your team mates are deciding what server to play on. Actually, multiple rooms in the meeting room would not hurt.
Edit: Well, I would not as Scawen to spend time on it, I was just pointing it out.
