with this g-force thing you there should be an option to fix the view on a server to "driver view" and the head should shake when hitting a curb

imo driver-view should be the only possibility in the game for racing

break wear is a very common thing in racing and lot of series have to deal with that kind of issue.

i know this has been mentioned before in several threads but no i a specific thread dedicated to this issue.

i think it is his fault as long as you keep your line. if you brake to shut the door and he spins your end with his nose i would say its your fault. or probably would call it normal racing accident.

but in general it is his fault.

the shift+s and shift+p is a bit odd if you are used to the old ones. it should be editable by each user anyway...

the car is not only the model, don't forget it. it needs the physics and also balancing. then you need to update lfs-world. so i think 1 car per month is quite a lot for one guy who is working on other things at the same time....

i don't pay for it not because of the price (i think its cheap enough) but the fact the most of the skins are crap anyway and from the 3000 skins in my folder i think i don't see 90% of the drivers on a regular basis. and when i see them again, they probably have a new skin. BUT it sure is an improvement to the game. i would pay for 2048x2048 skins though probably.

also a possibility to have them in bigger letters somewhere below the clock not in the drivers list. where they are pretty small with 32 cars.

ok its mainly a thing for league or race administrators.

on large tracks it is sometime very difficult to see if there is any danger on the track. you can see it on the minimap of course if someone is spinning, but as an admin you can't jump to that position because you don't know which car it is. because the minimap is not clickable.

so the only chance for the admin is to switch through all cars (32! now) to see where that crashed car is and if it is a danger to the race to decide THEN if a pacecar has to be sent out or not.

so an indicator next to the drivers name in the connection list is a good thing to have.

nobody drives with the connection list on all the time so i don't see a problem with disco. you can make it optional as well. just one more YES / NO question in the options and anyone who do not want to have that information won't get it...

is it possible to have a yellow or blue flag in the connection list right next to the guy who causes it. i know noobTV had it built in. but i think it would be nice to have that in game.

Sooner or later LFS is going to turn into need for speed with all these silly ideas.. i agree it might be fun but it defeats the object of the game, which IMHO is to be a real driving and racing simulator.

and banger racing is a form of racing. it is done in real life and its quite common. don't be so closed minded...

it is called banger racing. we had some banger-kind of league in the past where you actually got points for wrecking other cars.

As the field of view in cockpit mode is now possible to be higher then 120° (which i used) it would be nice to have something similar to force feedback indicator.

when you press the "." button it increases the force feedback and on screen is a msg which says "45%" then "50%" force feedback.

when you press the "5" or "6" key it changes the field of view but there is no indication on which degree you are at the moment.

would be nice to have that like in forcefeedback

is the new skin-system a step towards customized server appearence. so servers can have their own advertising packs and textures?
