adjustable pit-limiter, so we can have clean caution phases.
it looks like people can't hold a certain speed, they either are going to fast and brake rapidly (which can cause a domino effect) or they are going to slow during cautions. with an adjustable limiter, (probably adjustable by the server-host) this can be solved.
also the speed limit on some of the track is too slow because the pitlanes are broad enough or too long for having the cars going there with 80km/h.
it should be a server-side option and the server-host should decide which speed-limit should be applied on his server in the pits.
also those guys on the CLC servers can benefit from it, having some kind of "cruise-controll"
i knew about the tires and damage, but i am not sure about the fuel though... i have in mind, from lfscar season 1 that i was interested in the fuel strategies of the drivers but i could not see it then...
i am not sure if this is a bug or if it is supposed to be so. i think before the patches it was different.
when watching a replay, i can see now the fuel-load of every car. not only my fuel. this can be exploited in league races when a "spotter" just safes a replay right after the start and tells his driver on how much fuel the others are going... i think it shouldn't be possible to see the fuel-load of other cars.
there should be something like a 5min. auto restart with a countdown, so everyone sees how much time he/she has to change setup and stuff. during those 5 min. everyone who wants to take part, has to press "shift+r" everyone who did not vote for restart, will be sent to spectate automatically on the restart. so there won't be any standing drivers. (or not that much at least)
do i have 20000 already on oval? i know that i still need about 500 to get 10.000 on oval with the FO8.
anyway, just because i drive most of the time the oval, does not mean i am not interested in other kinds of racing. and some others who are interested in making let's say rally stages or supercross tracks, should have the possibility to make those kinds of tracks. to have the ramps only on blackwood is just a bug imo or a lazyness or the feel of "we don't need it". i think the implementation to all other tracks won't cost more then half a day.
if you don't want to use it, its cool, but if others want to have it, it is no problem in giving em the possibility.
why -1??? it won't harm you in no kind of way. it won't prolong the development at all, and it will give those who are interested in it more possibilities. it just sounds like: "i don't need it, so no-one should need it!"
the same counts for the banners and stuff. why having different objects on different tracks. should be the same objects on all tracks imo.
i've heard from someone who knows someone, who actually was the nurse of someone who knows the guy who is the gardener of scawen. and that guys sister told that guy i've heared from, that there will be a
Piaggio APE
i got the error message: list index out of bounds (2) when opening the program. then it says: Building replay list, but nothing happens. i let this run for 10min. but nothing happened, so i quit it, tried it again several times with the same results.
i still don't see any use in balancing the 3 GTRs. if they are all the same speed, and this is what most of the people here talk about, then everyone will drive the FXR just because it is 4WD and the easiest to handle. why not just letting them be as they are now and the league admins can define how they want to restrict certain cars. the track selection and length of a league will tell what car should be restricted in what matter to make it equal. a general equalization will result in a "body-kit" swap thing between the XRR and FZR. so you just choose one of those two cars which looks better to you. but then the use of two different cars is gone. its only body-kits then. every car should have an advantage on certain tracks/race-length. what i would improve to these cars is tire wear. they all use MUCH too less tires imo.
i get an "out of array"something message when using this program. it works perfect but in the middle of the race it just quits with a msg in the black window. it is a 130 laps race with about 20 drivers in it. i can send you the screenshot of that msg.
That is exactly what i said in one of my first posts to this topic. you can't level them out on all tracks and even on one track with different race-length.
