I like the new vw designs especially the jetta. I think they're more serious-looking than previous versions. The more straight lines and angles the better imo.

No need to talk about the beetle. It's a car for women and there are no women on the internet.

Im a little late to the battlefield franchise. I jumped into a multiplayer game bfbc2 when it was released and went directly back to black ops after 10 minutes. Yesterday I started the campaign and I'm hooked sooo I already preordered bf3 for 360

I wonder why no developer has taken the plunge to make a console flight sim. PC gamers and especially flight sim enthusiasts usually don't have a problem spending $2000+ on a rig that can run any game at the highest settings with high fps, which is something that a $200 console is designed to do. I played flight sims the same as probably most of you here: keyboard and joystick, and I don't really care what they're plugged into as long as it works. The sacrifice in overall graphics capability would definitely be balanced out by the reliability and low price of a console.

For instance if Microsoft decided to port FSX to the 360 and separately sold a controller that equaled the playability of a joystick/keyboard for ~$150 plus $60+ for the game disk(s) I would go out and buy it today. Am I the only one?

Whoever makes a browser or OS that literally cannot be hacked/infected will make billions. Some say thats impossible but I don't think so. I can't imagine the future when our time-travelling quantum computers get redirect viruses. You want to go to Woodstock in 1969 and you end up somewhere in Russia in 1945.

I don't ever prestige. I really don't feel like losing all my guns for a half centimeter square insignia that tells everyone that I'm an internet badass. Right now I'm sitting at level 55 with $400k+ because I also only play barebones; no perks, attachments, radar, equipment or killstreaks. I like it a lot better than core, it levels the playing field and at least when you die its because someone was aiming at you.

I think you're exaggerating. Not all the rebels fighting Gaddafi's forces are Al Quada but it wouldn't surprise me if some were, Al Quada and their sympathizers are in almost every country and political movement in the Middle East. Besides, NATO knows how to deal with Al Quada insurgents, I don't think they'll be playing a major role in rebuilding the gov't when Gaddafi's forces are defeated.

As for the media, they are spineless lackeys to political correctness and leftist bias. They wouldn't be caught dead reporting that certain freedom fighters rebelling against Gaddafi's army may have ties to Al Quada, it would ruin a great story.

On the other hand, if Israel feels that all of these uprisings and coups in the Middle East are going to produce secular governments that operate under Sharia law, I don't blame them for wanting to protect their own interests, not that I believe Israel has the kind of influence over Muslim nations that you're claiming.
Don't underestimate the strength of America's alliance with Israel, I feel comfortable saying that in meetings even your irrefutable sources don't know about, the US and Israel are working on avoiding a conflict of interest.

You are saying that Israeli zionists are supporting muslim jihadists in a coup in libya. just think about that for a second, logically. Just because someone says it on a conspiracy forum doesn't mean it's true.

As far as US plans for a post gaddafi gov't, I think you'll see the US taking a behind the scenes role because truly there is nothing for us to gain in Libya. For all your talk about US intervention, NATO and the UN are going to be acting in the interests of western european countries who rely on Libya for crude oil.

It seems british, french, and (unofficially) US special forces are on the ground in Libya right now laser designating airstrike targets for the precision bombing we've been seeing.

the US imports less than 1% of our crude from Libya. This is western europe's fight I'm all for staying out of it.

1. Italy 37.65%,
2. Germany 10.11%,
3. France 8.44% ,
4.Spain 7.94%,
5. Switzerland 5.93%,
6. USA 5.27%

Quote from wsinda :Why would immigrant be required to prove his high value to your society, whereas trash that just happens to be born within your country's borders can happily be a leech on society?

umm. yes. Life is not nor will ever be fair. If you had a choice of a roommate would you choose a doctor or a criminal? My opinion is that countries do have a choice over who we let in, but we choose not to exercise it for whatever reason.
Quote :You mean that people from France are coming to my country (The Netherlands) to undermine society? That's news to me.

Don't look now but I think France copied your flag.
I suppose the dutch and french are in the same boat as far as Muslim immigration goes, except some french actually care that many Muslims want Sharia law implemented in our countries and are sometimes found to be protesting against them, especially in Paris.

Quote :I can quite confidently say that any foreigner who comes to the Dutch border and says he is a car thief, will be sent away. And those who don't say so and enter the country will, when caught, get the same jail sentence as our native car thieves get.

I'm sorry I can't take that seriously, just like the rest of the world doesn't take the Dutch prison system seriously. If I were a car thief I'd love to spend a weekend in a day spa with the other "prisoners"

I'm confused as to why your pants are in a bunch. Why would any country accept an Immigrant who doesn't offer something a citizen cannot? Last I heard Switzerland doesn't allow or makes it very difficult for non-citizens to get jobs that could be filled by citizens, but correct me if thats no longer true.

Wsinda France has accepted thousands of arab and eastern european immigrants, some percent of which are actually undermining your country, and are of negative value to your society.

It goes back to the OP. Why are car thieves allowed to live in your country? Because it's 'wrong' to turn people away who want a better life, but at what cost? Your car, obviously. So their better life comes at your personal expense and the expense of your country as a whole.

As for my profession I work in my family business, building and managing self storage facilities and various rental properties in California and Texas.

ps. i don't hear too much complaining coming from native american tribes. I hear slot machines.

I agree with tve as happens sometimes, but I would disagree about most immigrants performing a valuable service for their host country. Their service is valuable only if it absolutely cannot ever be performed by any natural born citizen of that country. For the US I don't think any immigrants should be allowed in unless they are doctors, engineers, publicly traded business owners, or very profitable artists. Farm workers are supposed to be let in under guest worker visas which allow them to take money made in the US back home, but that system is abused almost as a rule.

Instead of lowering the rate for men, they should raise the price for women to the same level. I think automotive laws in the UK are designed to discourage people from driving at all, so that should work nicely.
