Can't see any other stars - even though its totally clear the street lights just blank everything out apart from this.
Wasn't really pulsing or flickering I don't think, hope I've taken a picture of something cool like a supernova! (about 0% chance)

Can anyone else see this really bright star? Its almost too bright to be a star looking at it through binoculars makes it look like its got a tail or something.
Its pretty much exactly south west from where I was stood in the garden, just took some pictures uploading now.

Each shot was taken at a different aperture using shutter lock up timer and a tripod (basically the sharpest way). I had to focus by hand but I think they were about the best I could get.

If you try to learn how to drive with 270 degree lock and left foot braking then you'll be much faster than you are now.

I used to use the Speedlink Medusa 5.1's and they're a really great headset but its a right annoyance to set them up properly.
I got some Steelseries Siberia's for Christmas and have been using those, the sound quality is very good but in game its quite hard to tell the difference between infront and behind, so turning sideways so its left/right is usually in order when i'm listening for the bomb ticking.

Maybe try going on an Xbox forum or checking the Xbox website. LFS Forum isn't a holy grail of knowledge - there are much better specialist places for you.
I think you were doing it the wrong way around.
You press 2 at the end of the race, to save the replay. Next time you try, wait until the end of the race until you press 2.

Not really, keep practicing and you'll get better. Also thats not an F1 car, its a Formula BMW, a lower speed feeder series into some of the higher leagues such as GP2 and F1.
See thats a decent photoshop, after looking at it for about 5 seconds I couldn't see any major flaws, unlike the one in the first post, which looks like something a 10 year old could do with the magic wand tool.
Thats probably the crappest attempt at faking the Scirocco in game I've ever seen. You can even see the green reflection from the green floor you used in the viewer trying to make it look like grass.

Far too much zooming in and out, my eyes hurt trying to watch the cars.
That much difference would make little or no difference in a game, maybe 3 FPS more if your lucky.

Because they didn't "pick" the Scirocco, from what I've heard VW approached them and wanted to put their car in the game.
Go then, posting stupid things like that won't make LFS get free modding and night racing just so your pleased. Its the devs game not ours stop complaining and be greatful you've already got one of the best racing sims out there.
To everyone who is complaining about the lone wait to get this car and saying that your bored of LFS and have lost faith in the developers, show me the bit of text that says they have to do things as fast as possible so people aren't bored waiting.

5.7Ghz? There are probably only a handful of overclocking teams who have reached 5.7 Ghz and its most likely been run on liquid nitrogen which can't be used in every day situations, its only used for benchmarking.
The E8400 is a great option at the moment, not very expensive and is a very fast dual core near to the top end of what processors are doing at stock speeds these days.
I've just noticed you want to experiment with movie making..My rig is probably around the same if not worse than yours Chris and I do a lot of video editing with video footage and game recorded footage, check out the movie making tutorial in the LFS Manual (link at the top of the page) for some tips on getting the most out of your current system. I don't think you really need to upgrade if you want to edit.
People say you need a good quad core to use proper movie editing packages, I use a 2.8 Pentium Dual core (Core 2 Duo, just branded as Pentium) and I can edit using the top suites such as Sony Vegas and Adobe After Effects with no problems at all.

Yeah isn't 3G a technology on the phones? Not something you pay for? I have no clue what it is but I'm not paying for it and my LG Viewty seems to do everything i ask it to.
