5 Cylinders, all moving independantly - perfect balance. 5 seperate ignitions per revolution, as opposed to the 2 seperate ignitions of a 4 cylinder. A work of genious.
TV's with high refresh rates are a ripoff unless the source your watching is actually outputting at that rate. Standard TV in the UK is output at 24hz, no where near the claimed 600 that the plasma thing does.
@BBO - the Iiyama VMP's are the most sought after ones, (at least in the gaming community) I got this big dell one so I could use a higher resolution and not be squinting at the tiny details, the resolution on this is huge.
(I apploagise for the WoW screenshot, just wanted something to show the size)
Working as a heater is a good thing in the room that my PC is in, its got no radiators and the huge front bay window was smashed at one point - so my dad picked up all the pieces and glued it back together (he actually did that...)
Its the same temperature in here as it is outside.
Well the G25 was a significant improvement from the DFP, I think that's what they were trying to do.
Also, I'm not sure if you have the full concept of how companies have to research, plan, develop, test certain ideas to put into products. One person doesn't go "look I've made these gears a funny shape and its much quieter". They pour resources and money into researching these things.
Here I go again with my comparisons - When the first Ford Model-T rolled out of the factory why didn't they put air con, electric windows..etc. They all have to be pretty easy to do!
"the lack of sequential is a huge down for anybody!"
Not for anybody, the people who don't use it will be glad - since they get a better H-shifter as a result.
Scam addresses? There's a lot of people going on about this and inviting people, so I don't think its a scam thing. Anyway, you can pick up a phone directory and find people's phone numbers, addresses, names..etc. If they wanted to find addresses and somehow "scam" the people in there I'm sure they could pretty easily.
Whats this thing about? I got invited and signed up, seems you can earn "ptz" and redeem them for games..etc? Big stuff happening apparently this weekend, if anyone wants invites then pm me or leave your email here.
When you sign up you play a little 2d arcade game, try and do as well as you can on this - it gives you those "ptz" and if you do well enough you can already afford quite a large selection of games.
It gets around the problem of the wheel having too little buttons near your thumbs. Think of another shape that would look good? Square? Nah - Circles would look crap too.
I think it looks good, hopefully there are some internal goodies too, a G25 with a few more buttons on and some lights definately isn't worth splashing out on - unless they do a G25 - G27 trade up deal. (Trade in your G25, get a G27 for £50 or so)
