Personally, I do most things manually, I find I have much more control over things that way. There are some systems out there, but specifically for LFS, im not so sure, would be interested if there was one in development tho. And there are tools to make things easier..
Yeah, knew there was more out there tho, and uk based teams too, infact, I would think most teams are international now, unless actually made to be national, if ya get me.. meh, im tired.
LOL Tweaker!! Relax, chances are that they wont be removed anyway, It was a suggestion, and Im sure our moderators will move it to its correct home in due time when the newness of the main forums has lost its... pull.
The CRC had an idea like this in pre-production earlier this year, several tracks where made in consept, but the track designer was never totally happy with them and the idea was scrapped. However, id be interested in joining such a league..
I had that and reported in an earlier patch, but it was seemingly fixed a few patches back.. U21 & 22 were problematic for me, everything later is perfect.
iracing (if it gets complete) is gonna be very different to lfs. But, can we try, to stay on topic, in this off topic extra discussion area thingy bit thread.
Its great to finally be proved right on some people, but those opinions I will keep to myself here.
Scawen, Its great to hear that these people dont get you down, thats a great thing, personally, if it were me, id have quit visiting these forums a long time ago, I cant take the crap thats posted here sometimes, so the fact that you can read through all this and still be smiling on the other side.. .
I do wonder sometimes, what people are here for.. For a great, and growing Racing Simulator, or to see how much money they can make from it, and im not talking about the developers..
+1 To seeing a Kid & Vik(whatever his name is) Online Racing Simulator.
Id i didnt have to try so hard to understand what you typed up there, id guess you have some valid points. I think the key here is COMPATABLE.
If there was NO small changes and improvements made at all, we'd all be here moaning that lfs development has stopped, as we wouldnt realise that to do the bigger, non compatable stuff might take longer with all the testing, and none of the visual updates..
Since April, LFS has got better and better, and yes, agreed that placement of things on screen are less important than physics updates or failures/damage, but without those small changes, we would only be moaning at the lack of visual development.
You have to remember that everything will be inspired from a central dream, and from things that come and go around us. How about thinking of it this way.. Since April, there has been over 30 Patches released to LFS. Each one improving SOMETHING over the previous.
Kid, why aint you a dev yet?
EDIT: Appologies NetDemon01, if id have bothered to read your post before typing my own, I would have seen ive just repeated you there. Off-topicness.. Agreed, but if one gets away with it, others will follow. Lets just say, Kid, you just woke up a sleepy Stoney.

Reason : cos i forgot to add the edit... ok?
No matter if you care about online or not, your going to need "online" to unlock. The people who have posted already, really do know what they are doing and saying, just buy an official licence if you want S2 content, and as an added bonus, you even get to have the username you want!
I personally think its all in the name really. Online Racing Simulator. I used to not have interweb access, so Im used to racing the AI's and the thing is, they are not at all perfect, but they learn. And its my view they shouldnt be perfect. They get faster the more they learn.
Note that S2 isnt finished. Note that there are other more important things (to most) to be worked on first. Unbeatable.. how's that realistic?
If messages where hidden when in the ESCAPE menu, could they be kinda cached so that a driver in the escape menu wouldnt miss anything vital? I agree with the other stuff talked about here. And the "enter message" box could be smaller I guess we all know how to use it now right?
LOL Scawen. Thanks for the replys Scawen and everyone else. I didnt really want anything, just wanted to post my opinion on the increasing number of thread closings. I agree some are just stupid, but on the other hand, I think some are just wanting some fun, its a fine line I know.
Question: The report button on posts, does it work? as in, does anyone get to see its content? Is it private.. What happens?
The second post here was removed, what was unfair about that?
The threads that ask about updates or new patches, or progress.. How are they insulting or degrading?
My post wasnt about any one thread, it was meant to be general, to encourage discussion, something which is kinda the main reason for forums.. I mean is there a list of what we can and cannot discuss, cos it sure feels like it.
Closed threads to a new user present an atmosphere of overbearing control, do you not think..
People here are generally interested in the work that you guys do, yeah i know from software development things get annoying, but we (the people) are limited in the ways we can contact you (the devs), as via the forums, we cannot send a Dev a pm.
The Moderators are widely doing a great job, its not them that Im finding problematic. Anyway, thankts for the reply.
Appologies if this is spam, but a lot of crap gets away with being posted in this section.
You know, this thread closing is really really getting on my nerves, its almost daily. People are activly interested, asking valid questions and they all end up closed. This isnt good for the community. Please can someone make a sticky about the questions us babies are allowed to ask and those we cannot.
Hey, what about a subforum for "questions that dont like to be answered", then we could post whatever we wanted, and it could be completly ignored by those who ask for questions and feedback then dont like challenging or negative questions.. I used to be the same.
