Just started to look at this. Noticed in the config file there is an option to set the Insim Prefix (default $), and when typing $ in game, its not displayed in the text.. but are there some kinda in server commands?

And are they documented anywhere?

I dont have a credit card either, and there are other methods to pay for online services.

Dont take this the wrong way, but if you are using a server for 5 hours a month, those 5 hours are still hours in which you are using a server. Its a service, why shouldn't you pay for it?

But I repeat, this is all just talking, as there are many kind offers here.

Just a thought, but had you considered contacting one of LFS's many hosting companies? 500servers used to have a deal were you could rent a server just for league events, storm-servers offer £5 a month servers, and im sure there are more..

Its very kind that people offer their servers for free, but lfs server rental is not expensive, and if you had your own, you could use it when you want.

Just a thought.

Dont be sad, nor sorry. Its basically not your fault, as you didnt know or where clearly told. Which is the majority of the problems the LFS Forums have with post in the wrong place.

Fantastic, but that is not what this section of the forum is for.. Perhaps some kind of sticky suggesting what is and isnt allowed here in the LFS Hosts section would be a good idea. That or perhaps some better policing of this particular subforum.

The poor sod has gone to bed now, but im sure he will get to it tomorrow, when with a bit of luck he will have been asleep a good 12 hours or so!

Im still using LFS Points, im on version 2.4.0.0 at the moment, and I use it for our current Team Series. Because im a noob I use the Export to HTML feature for timesaving purposes. But I have noticed a small error, which I am correcting manually (which isnt a large thing, and it might have been mentioned already, as I havent read all the posts here for a while), but basically the Information in the Race Time and Best Lap colums seem to be in the wrong places.

I wouldnt expect it, its been down for a good while now, they dont seem particularly bothered to either update the holding page or the database. Hope Im wrong.

Id say it was just normal really.. Personally, I dont race LFS as much as I used to.

I practice for the two current leagues Im competing in, and drive their races obviously, other than that, I have more entertaining things to do at the moment.

I am still interestsed, but cannot confirm yet. I hope to have a definate answer by the weekend at the latest, I will also confirm/or not the status of my team mates who have shown interest.

When does the deposit have to be paid by, what are the payment methods and is the rest paid on the day? Have there been any arrangements made/interest in finding somewhere to sleep? (not together).
