In the beginning, when the series was full on, there was a website called RaceAlliance, which allowed reports from the website etc. This was removed some time ago, as the signup for the Series was too low.

So basically, with such a small grid, we never thought we'd need to use these report services, however, it seems we do as there is a clear difference in opinion as to what clean, gentlemanly racing is. Most managed it just fine, but fill in your report, let the people of RaceAlliance manage your complaint, as will the other drivers involved.

As for the rules of the series, again, everything "was" available when you signed up, infact, when you signed up using the signup form, you wouldnt have been able to get that far if you hadn't have read the rules!!

If you search around on the Forums here, you can find what you are looking for!

Reports are coming in now, and provisional results will be posted tonight.

Official Results from RaceSIM.co.uk will be delayed a few hours longer than usual, as there will be pending decisions from RaceAlliance.

Once you hit the RaceSIM website, just click the Banner of the series you are entered in, and you will be taken to the Results Website for that Series, in this case, the F504 FormulaBMW Series.

From there, to navigate, simply click on a round.. Round Two will show you the latest round results etc.. From that tab, there are two links.. One to Results of that round and the other to Current Standings.

You can Download Replays of the Events of the F504 Series from the Round One Results Page/Link.

A little housekeeping if I may for the Formula500 Subforums..

Can you please remove the Formula500 Banner from rotation, it is no longer needed, the series failed to attract enough drivers to be considered viable.

The Formula500 Subforum, could that please be renamed to "RaceSIM" and a link to its website be added to the description "http://www.racesim.co.uk".

The FBM Demo Series Subforum is no longer needed.

The FBM S2 Series Forum is to stay, as it is still a running league, now under RaceSIM.co.uk

The Threads in the main Formula500 Forum are no longer relevant.. I dont know what can be done with them.

Round Two already!! If round one was anything to go by, this one should be even more fun. See you on Thursday 19th June 2008 at 8pm.

Session Details:

Each session starts with a 20 minute open practice session, these start at 8pm. This gives people 20 minutes to arrive and get a few laps in before we start anything else.

Next, at 8:20pm the first of two qualifying sessions begin, these sessions are 10 minutes each, and so by 8:30pm the grid for race one is set.

Race One, is 60km, which in the case of Fern Bay Club Reversed is 38 laps. The grid is set via the lobby screen, and when drivers names are called, they should join the grid, they should not ready up till told to do so, as this can delay the grid and start of the race.

At the end of race one, there will be a 5 minute break.

Following this, the second of the two 10 minute qualifying sessions will begin and drivers can go out and set their time for the grid of race two.

At the end of the session, drivers are again returned to the lobby, where the grid is set for race two.

Race Two, is 60km, which is again 38 laps.

Ok, now im the noob..

Im trying to configure a server to run in the Demo for Sunday's start of my Formula500 FBM Demo League..

I cannot get a server to show in the demo.. How do I do it? since things changed, im really not that sure.

I believe the dedicated server to be Version Y, and my personal client is Y19.. does that matter?

If so, what was the last Client version that was compatable with Dedi Y?

The series starts here!! What a place to start, the short, sharp circuit of Aston Cadet. We wasnt able to get the full agreement of drivers to move the event to sundays and so Thursday 12th June is the day! 8PM UK BST.

Session Details:

What do drivers in Formula One and other types of Motorsport do to keep tyres warm while under a safety car?

Exactly.

Perfectly possible in lfs, if the drivers can control the cars. Incidently, the ability of each driver to control his or her car is not the responsibility of the event admins or organisers, but of the actual driver themselves.

Hmm, the poll closed with four votes, 2 for each option, so rather.. useless at this stage . I have now sent an email to all who entered the series, If you guys could send a reply asap, that would be great.

As now shown on the results pages provided by RaceSIM.co.uk, the series schedule has been released. The first thing to notice, is that the proposed 10 weeks have been reduced to just five. This gives us 10 races in total to contest the series over.
