I would guess that there would be more than just yourself nutty who would be "independent" and if there are so said independents, then why not team up together for the event.

Its a good idea, and deserves every success.

Nothing that can be done really Dan, its a mixture of the time of year, start time of the series, annoying time zones and lack of commitment. Drivers will come and go, those who where there, im sure were greatful for the organisation.

I was somewhat under the impression that there would be more in the way of changes to Blackwood, a line from the preview video said something like "changes to blackwood.. make things more exciting for the lesser powered cars" (not a quote, just what I remember reading).

The only changes I see to the layout are the curbs at the 1st chicane, the reduction in the grasscrete at the end of the main straight, and a few other little bits.

I guess I was expecting some kind of "feature" on the back straight, I cant find the text now, within the 1374 posts within the video thread, but, alas slightly dissapointed with blackwood.

South City on the otherhand, im amazed at how good that looks now, of course, now I would like all the tracks to look like that. It is safe to say that since trying x30, ive not raced anywhere else but blackwood and South City!

Thank you Dan for running a smooth event. It is so so nice to attend an event and not have to worry about admining it

Had a good first race, finishing 6th in the end. Second race wasn't so good, I could not slow enough for the last corner of race one, and I made contact with Dan down there, later spun and flipped.

After that, it was lonely till the end really, but thankfully, others made mistakes, and others were taken out, but ho hum and karma. All good in the end.

Looking forward to round two.

Yes, im in too. It is definatly more difficult that it was, and it shows me where I was obviously going wrong too, not being able to complete more than two laps when I started with it yesterday evening.

Some great changes overall, and some nice new things to get used to, and now another reason to get a non-plastic wheel

Dont really see the issue.. DBP had an event planned for last night, scheduled to start at 8PM uk time, and at that time, we were just learning of the master server issues. some 24 minutes later, we all got online, we all raced as planned.

Event admins and league administrators should have common sense about them to be able to make other arrangements. At any rate, what happened wasn't your fault, it wasn't anyone's fault. Technology brakes down, it happens.

Im quite sure your races in your league will get over it. After all, the new car alone will keep them busy for quite a while.

But at least you aint driving with keys no more.... right?

Do you have a target in mind? A lot of teams have unrealistic entry requirements, and some have none at all.

Also, you may find that some teams dont openly recruit at all. But anyway, scroll up, you have two offers already in your thread.

My advice.. Decide what you want, target it, and go for it. Otherwise this is just another "im looking for a team, it doesnt matter which" thread.
