Hmm, I haven't really looked at the console for errors, I've just been judging it by how it works in game.

I tried LFSLazy, but it didn't seem to have support for restricted cars, when I drove GT2 it just compared times to LFSW WRs which were obviously useless. Maybe I missed something though.

There's two I haven't pinned down, from the attachments (this is FOX/AS3 telemetry) can anyone see what they are?

Just spotted this thread, while checking if Aonio has been updated yet (yeah, I know, not very likely...).

Did you ever figure out the telemetry? Smile
For what it's worth, the second one you couldn't figure out looks very like a heading to me (or other angle, cos it wraps at 36000). No clue what the first one is, but in a random pbs.txt file I just looked at, the 4th column goes positive sometimes...

PS: what did you use to make those graphs? I'm always on the lookout for nice tools Wink

I did figure it all out after you mentioned that it was the heading, so thanks for that. I was wrong about one other, that I had previously called "Heading". I realized that it and the one unknown next to it were X and Y position on the map.

As for how I made the charts, it's all here on Google docs.

As for AONIO itself, I don't see why it needs an update, I've driven on the new configurations and everything still seems to work, my pbs folder has files with WE2 in the file name, so track names were not hard coded. I do think it may be a good idea to clean up times.txt since it will have impossible-to-beat sector times now, that seems like a lot of effort though.

Just proceed, it will convert for you. I believe.

I have to say my favorite thing about this new version is that the chicanes are now chicanes. The fact that we could go flat out in most LFS chicanes has been a huge complaint, now that's fixed here.

This track is like old-Westhill made longer, meaner, and prettier.

Any chance of increasing the max connections? Up to 40 cars in an endurance race doesn't leave many spots for driver swaps after admins/streaming spots.

Tracks :

Increased max cars in race from 32 to 40
Increased AU Autocross grid from 16 to 20
Increased BL Rallycross grids from 24 to 30

With the grid size increase, would it be possible to get a connections limit increase (55ish, so the same number of "extra" connections?).

Looks really great all around. Smile

So what happens now, with the new Westhill?

Quote from Cornys :Probably cannot make this one. Will do my best to make it Thursday at this time slot to actually receive 2 session credits Frown

Seems you're not the only one who can't make this session. Big grin

At the beginning of the race Provost said that the mandatory pit had to be under green, so that's kind of a moot point. It does look like one person did do their only pit stop during that caution though.

Provost timing out must have distracted us from that, since clearly we didn't catch it during the race.

Just so everyone knows, this session was abandoned because of the master server issues and will most likely be rescheduled.
Discrepancy between shown races and number of races

Not sure if this is exactly a bug or not, but the number of races shown is 0, while if you mouse over the day it says, well... a little bit more than that.

Quote from nacim :If LFS devs could create 3 officials servers (DEMO/S1/S2) with car class/track rotation, that would be so nice. Smile

Who would admin them?

It's been fun racing on Cargame, so it's sad to see it go. I really like driving the GT2 cars so I hope some other server becomes popular with them. That said, the XFG/XRG S2-Racing server is quite a fun change as well. Life (and LFS) will go on.

Quote from Gutholz :Did anyone notice this too yesterday?
On http://www.lfsworld.net/pubstat/live_progress.php?host=XFG/XRG%20S2%20-%20Racing there was link for LFSremote.
But when clicking it said "host not found" or something. Do I just imagine things? Oo

It was temporarily, yes.

Quote from Jedievensen :No, sorry,we're not planning to add it to LFS Remote.
So you'll have to be online to spy on us Smile

Well then what about setting connections higher? I wouldn't want to take up one of the 31 race slots with my spying

So long as there's a way to prevent the same track from coming up after it was recently up, random sounds like a good way to go.

A little caution is advised when lapping backmarkers. You braked about where you should for a normal lap, or if Knuckles had actually let Harabla and you pass (this is key, Knuckles clearly caused it).

When you saw that Knuckles was late on the brakes it was almost too late (you were already braking), but it would be smart to not be aiming your car at the site of the incident. By the time the incident happened between Knuckles and Harabla there was nothing you could do.

The incident is definitely NOT your fault, but even so it's better to be smart about passing backmarkers then be a victim of them.

Had a lot of fun last night and tonight, one suggestion though, set connections to 47 (or at least a few higher than 32) considering we maxed it out tonight.

This will definitely be necessary when you do that endurance racing that was talked about.

I use XBCD drivers which split the axis, I'm not sure if there's any way using the default drivers. I don't think LFS uses XInput, I was kind of hoping this would change with the move to DX9 but it's obviously not that simple.
S2 Hotlaps resizing issue
pik_d
S3 licensed
If you open the S2 Hotlaps window on LFSWorld and re-size it, then click on one of the other tabs the window does not stay the new size. If you go back to the tab you had in focus when you re-sized the window it will return to that size. None of the other windows work this way, but all of the tabs in S2 Hotlaps have a different "remembered" size for the window.

This doesn't seem like the proper response especially considering none of the other windows act this way.

Quote from Victor :Probably a stupid question, but you are actually logged in with the same account on both devices?

This issue happened to me too, and I've only got one account. Desktop, laptop, and phone all logged in, but marking things read doesn't work between them all the time.
