lol, that's not blistered tires. That's tires with tire marbles on them.
During an F1 race tyres wear out and create marbles around the track. When a Grand Prix ends drivers will drive around off the racing line to collect these marbles to their tires so as to add weight (yes!), as the car needs to weigh 600 kg after the race.
Yes, I have the same since patch U. Every 5 seconds or so there is a 0.2-0.3 sec stop of the screen. If it happens on the straight it's not a problem, but when ur racing through BL chicane with another driver, it can make trouble or when correcting a slide. Haven't changed video card or drivers during the time that the patches have changed.
I was driving on cops and robbers server yesterday with U20. When I drove backward while looking back, the framerate dropped noticeably. That's a bit strange, because when ur driving forward, you not only see the forward view, but also the mirror. However, backwards driving does not have a mirror, but is still slower frame rate wise.
(using ATI 9600 PRO with drivers from December 2005)
What color is the driver :
a) 2 sec ahead of you
b) half a lap ahead of you
c) 75% of the lap ahead of you
d) 99% of the lap ahead of you (going to lap you)
e) 2 sec behind you
f) half a lap behind you
g) 75 % of the lap behind you
h) 99% of the lap nehind you (you are going to lap him)
??? They all cannot be exactly the same color! Driver a-d should be one color and driver e-h must be other color.
I think it is different when in real life a car stalls on the grid, and when in LFS a driver does not give a rats ass, if everybody's start is ruined because he had to go to the kitchen or whatever. Furthermore, please leave your snipe arguments and insults to yourself, thank you.
why longer time? when the lights go green everybody, except the sleepers manage to get off the line. The confrmation time would be when the lights go red until they go green. Plenty of time to tab the gas pedal... If you can't tab the gas then, then ur gonna probably miss the start anyway... So I think no time loss due confirmation requirement...
Really tired of rearending a sleeper... Couldn't there be like a confirmation button you can push (can be just turning the wheel or pushing gas) on the grid to confirm that you are actually on the grid ?
Simple etiquette is just enough, as some people still don't care enough to click spectate when going away...
Not everyone is a thief. And not everybody have to proove it to you. It's innocent, untill prove guilty, after all... Not the other way around illepall
On AS Historic at some times part of the map disappears off the screen. In this case my location is not visible, as it is on part of the map that is not visible.
