Anyway, i've heard this game is basically RACE with rally cars (and dirt circuits, not point to point races) So whats the communities take on it?
Is it worth getting it now, or waiting until its cheap?
but you can leave the original motor + RWD, i think as far as turbo or supercharged cams pistons etc. Haven't done it on these specific cars, but thats the norm with other cars of that age. L series engines sound mint IRL with triple carbs
South city. In a few places. Railway lines especially. I'd really like to see more tarmac rally type stages in LFS point to point *dribble* with some true road conditions (potholes, bad tarmac edges, gutters etc) But at the moment, south city is about the only track i can think of with some nasty bumps..actually..one of the aston tracks has that nasty bump right on the apex, left hander up towards the start line, just after you come down the "S" hill. So, there is a few places at the moment that could benefit from it.
So wait....you had enough in game credits to be able to buy them all already????? i woulda thought the ferrari was quite expensive? Or do you now just own the cars you buy as DLC?
eh usually in forza with the mid engine cars (this worked on the CLK GTR i had in F2) you just have to make the diff lock more on decel, and less on accel, and it usually comes good (it's almost the opposite of what you'd think, about a 70%decel, 30%accel) That and it would probably like to be trail braked further into the corner. Mid engined cars push understeer like whores if you try to drive them like a "normal" car. Also might be worth backing the rear wing off a little so the backend can come around a teensy bit more.
get to know the vehicle. My real life car makes peak torque @ 5500rpm, peak power at 6500rpm, and hits the limiter at 7600rpm. so i usually shift somewhere around 6500-7000 (1st gear i let it run to the limiter, generally)
be glad they didn't fine you for driving the wrong way. The fine for that is probably more! They shouldn't tail gate, i agree, but if i have someone up my bumper, and they don't seem to want to overtake, i generally assume its the cops. So i either start taking side roads to see if they are following, or slow right down. Speeding up is a sure way to get a ticket. Also, if they are anything like the police around here, putting in a complaint is a good way to have them sitting in your street almost everyday, pulling you over. Going to the ombudsman doesn't always work
I'm still trying to save for an F40 or f40 competizione, but so hard to save money :/
Any tips for earning "quick cash" legit (money glitches would be cool too lol)
reasons auction house is shit. I had that scooby in F2, it was a nice car, but deffo not worth that much. How about they cap the auction house to some sane level (say 50-100k over maximum original purchase + cost of mods) no car/design is worth 99999999999 etc.
I noticed in the drags the Datsun510 with rb26dett conversion seems to be weapon of choice. I have the veyron worked off it's chops, but it's not as quick as i expected (dulled due to it's immense weight i assume)
