Well, I went to place some objects on AS6 and found out that there is a issue with the objects.
The objects disappear so you can't place them. It is on the last hairpin before the Chicane. (where the car is on the attached image). If you back up to the point where you can see the object and move it forward without moving your view, you can place them.
Hey Inouva.
What game actually lets you have the full version for playing the demo for a long time? I can't think of any.
So you can't afford S2, well, the devs are not going to GIVE people free licenses just because they drove demo for a long time. They are doing this for money along with other things but if they gave the full version to people that have driven demo for X number of miles then a lot less people will buy S2 and LFS will probably stop production.
Seriously, Tell me what demo of what game gives you the full version for playing the demo for ages...
Aww crap. I keep staying up past midnight sending e-mails to the people that still have things in our garage that we are working on.Then I wake up when my dad gets up (usually 6 in the morning). Today I woke up at 4 (now) but I went to sleep at 22:30.
I use 24 hour clocks wherever I go so don't mind me.
Back on topic, This is a great idea. Just as long as they consider making it the way it is in real life where it is a bit wider in the braking point where 2-3 cars were braking side by side.
With the way it is, you smack another wheel of another car and nothing happens. Watching the open wheel races in real life and you watch them touch a wall or another car and the wheels get riped clean off.
Make people be more careful... Yea but I do not like the idea of being held up by a red light at the pit exit.
Say I am in the lead and I make my mandatory pitstop, then when I go to leave pits I have to stop and wait for the entire field to pass before I can join back? Hell no. But I sure don't want somebody coming back on the track plowing through the posts to get back on the track.
I like the idea of it giving a penalty for crossing the line. I mean.. Think of what they do in real life, Do they have a stop light? NO!
I say leave the demo the way it is. Three cars that act completely different from each other is good enough.
I bought S2 because I loved the physics and the XRT was so fun to drive and I figured if the demo was that fun, the full version should be even better and oh boy was that a good thought. If the demo had a LX4 as well... I might still be a demo user.
I thought I was the only one who wanted this so I never posted anything. This would be useful to watch the replay to see if people actually look before moving into a different line and causing someone to wreck.
Let me put it this way... If someone causes a crash and you want to see who did it and what happened, lets say that a wrecker looked left when a car was there then just moved over into that car after looking. You might see that as just someone not paying attention with the way it is now.
Like I posted an another thread of the same topic.. The ability to stall your car is a good thing and adds realism. The way it is now, you can slip your foot off the clutch and LFS will engage the clutch to keep it from stalling.
Now, what we need next is for some company to make a force feedback shifter to add to the experience. In real life, it is not a matter of just down shifting to 1st gear. It takes a bit to down shift from second to first and usually when you try to do it wrong and the lazy way, the shifter does not move into position.
How about an entire airport that is open to autoX? Runways, taxiways, aircraft parking areas.. Just without the aircraft I would like that. Just make sure that one of the runways is big enough for a fully loaded 747 to take off.. Or make a emergency landing at 250 knots.
What was he supposed to do? Not hit the brakes and slide out into a wall?
C was probably going to pull to the inside of A and make a pass. B just hit the brakes way too late and used C to slow him down.
You have to be kidding. There was quite a bit of room for C to get through, I have to squeeze through tighter places on a regular basis. I mean, just look at the amount of room between those cars, you could almost shove a UF1 through there.
I vote C for not knowing how to squeeze through tight situations.
SERIOUSLY! Watch driver C and use the pause button. Driver B seems to stop moving over and driver C just randomly swerves hitting the back of B. That forces B into a slice that closes the gap even more but at that point C is already out of it.
Hahaha. It is NOT the setup. I have been tweaking my own for a while and managed a 1.15.23 or something. Today I get on and decide to try a different approach at it and ended up shaving a couple seconds off.
So, my advice is... Keep a tight line around everything and don't really worry about how fast you go through it.
Yay.. I'll be there in my Second favorite LFS car..
LX6 BABY!
Oh wait.. I am stuck driving a LX4?
"Just join one of the competition hosts and enter the race with your LX4 when it's your turn."
darn
Or is that just a Type-O here http://competition.lfs.net/lx_autox/
