I would love to see a hot lapping mode where tires are heated when you start, and there is no physical damage to the cars when you crash them. It would be a local server only for practice.

The main thing is the damage. I hate going 5 laps to get the tires just right, and then plow it into the wall and have to start over when learning a track.

I am thinking like hot lapping in gtr2 where there is no wear on the car so you can try to set fast lap times, but a mode with no damage would make learning the track much nicer for a noob like me

Muscle cars have 3 very distinct car sizes...getting one or two of them would be wonderful. A camaro and a chevelle would just make me so happy. The auto trans idea would be neat, but for actual racing I would still want the good old 4 speed. Possibly if it was like a classic touring car class, like gt legends...

I would love to be a part of a team dedicated to learning. Being able to make laps with people the same speed as me would be awesome, as well as having some people there to coach and share setups with.

Right now I'm always about 1-2 seconds off the pros in the servers I'm in. Its just gonna take track time and learning the game better to speed up, but it would really help to have another person 1-2 seconds off record pace to run around with

If you just have a penalty for jumping...and possibly if they could replicate the staging beams like they are in real life it would be the first drag racing sim that I know of...

The way staging beams work in real life is there is a prestage beam and a stage beam When your tire leaves the stage beam (farthest away) it starts the clock. There is 6 inches between the beams iirc. Your car gets to move for a certain distance based on how shallow or deep you staged before the timer starts. This is how you get a better reaction time. You leave on one of the yellow bulbs so the tire leaves the beam to get a perfect reaction time. Granted, I doubt it would be easy...but it would certainly be more fun than a practice tree sitting at the coffee table...

My server list is near empty. I have s2 selected, and am filtering out the empty servers. I have version w24, which from what I've read, most good servers are using w17-24 anyways. Even with w0 i wasn't getting very many servers. My list of populated servers is like 8-20 servers depending on what version I'm running. There are usually only like 3 people in them too...I just got s2, so maybe something isn't configured?

I'm not seeing some servers that I know are big...like i'm not seeing any of the servers that people have on the forums here like gentlefoot and such.

I am not filtering by anything that I know of other than filtering out the empty servers.

so, I am slightly confused...I have a g25, and for the life of me I can't get this thing in gear. I try using the h-gate, and I changed it to sequential, but still no luck.

What am I doing wrong?

I paid for my S1 license right before the servers went down and can't get my code, anyone feel bad enough for me to pm me a s2 license maybe ?

Had I known some people gave them away, maybe I wouldn't have bought one :X

However, I love the game to death and really feel like supporting the devs, I'm just a bit tight on cash :S
