thats the one!!!!!!!!!!!
unbelievable the ammount of Grip those formulas put on the asphalt! look at that! for the driver it must feel he's on Rails (like most arcade games, as strange as it sounds)
and this video is "nothing" compared to a picture i saw of a F1 car with slicks doing a corner! to bad i cant find it..... but the inside back tyre was way way more bended than that picture with the green fxr
hey i'v seen it i think i was the first to download it from moviespit lol
its close racing so its cool!
but what most of us want to see is "hollywoodesc" movies with good music and good action beeing accidents or not! you know, fun factor..
you vid is a full race so dont expect ppl to get "all excited"
The pedals. I just used them about one night.... and i putted them away.
Too soft, with no effort you go to almost full braking just like that. The course is also small.
So i installed my old wheel pedals, the Thrustmaster FF GT
Thrust FF GT is a great great wheel, and i still noticed a very positive jump from going to the DFP
DFP wheel + FF GT pedals = i'm in heaven..... and the wheel is good! FF is great on the FDP
hey scawen, beeing a dad is always a good news
congratulations man
just teach him from the very begining that a "racing car" is the new definition of "women"... so the little kid turns out to be an Alonso (but make him do at least high school, so he can understand what he speaks eheh)
you guys talking about my move? i thought it was about maiden one lol
EDIT: i saw the replay on the fzr car, he stopped accelling because he lost sight of me or lost focus or something
if he didn't he could have passed me again because i lost 15km/h in that stunt http://rapidshare.de/files/14870482/bblack_fzr.avi.html
..and yes, i still remember that racing is taking chances
the difference, is that in real life those chances have to be calculated! they dont give a damn about damage, but they do give a damn about the prize money at the end of the race if well classified, and with a bad calculated chance its bad press and no money for the team...
2a situation you made is not really a hole... but its addressed by the "splitted" servers. whatever the case, Practice to join cleanraces (altough im slow and i dont cause damage at all)
1b is addressed by it self... you race clean a lot, you will have points for sure. And the problem you pointed out, wont really be a problem because those others rules protect you.
2b no hole here... the "finishing races" is in context with the "without damage". so... You dont finish the race but you are clean, no harm done.
keep the rules in context and its a very possible solution to wreckers and a harmless one to noobs (go practice noob! )
EDIT: together with "clean finished races" points, one could also get points by every each clean minute of racing...
you see, i wont do anything to crash in real life because i dont have the money to pay for the damage.
theres a fix for that carmageddon problem in lfs....
for the following rule this would have to be splitted by servers:
-practice servers would have this option disabled.
-Cleanraces would have this option enable.
the rule would be:
1a-
Give points to player if he finishes race with very little to no damage at all.
2a-
If damage happens, make it COST points to fix the car (points that can only be won with clean races)
1b-
those who race clean lots of times will have way enough points to pay for REAL accidents (not those carmageddon accidents) that do happen sometimes.
2b-
those who never finish a race with the car intact (or finish at all), will have no cash to pay for the damage made.
I gave Estoril example because the Eurospeedway does not show the laps info..
for me, long races all the way.
The sprint race sucks because no one wants to race for real, being afraid of missing the real race (that gives money) if they have a accident.
