I actually saw a different photo, it was looking straight at the side of the car (90 degree angle sorta thing), and was slightly more clear what was what . That pic was probably the one in the newspaper though.

I don't mean to sound like an internet tough guy here btw, the picture I saw was worse, but I don't want to partake in any willy-waving by saying that! I certainly have no desire to see it again!

So what if I'm not driving the car, I bet the girl in Takumi's avatar isn't his girlfriend! It's from a screenshot edit I did for him, the plate used to say 'AI 4' but I changed it to '**', Clockwork Motorsport's team tag. It's so small they do look like chinese characters, but meh.

Why's this causing such a commotion, who cares who is driving the car? Start posting some videos!

Yeesh, don't remind me...there's a picture looking side on at his car, the top half is shaved off as you would expect, it's heavily damaged, and there's poor Helmut sitting in the middle of it with no head. :scared::cry: R.I.P. A very promising driver.

The next day, a local daily, the Toronto Sun, featured a large photo fronting the sport section showing the wreckage with poor Helmut's headless corpse sitting in the cockpit of the trashed Surtees. A shock and horror as I had no forewarning of this. Recoiling from the image, I couldn't help but notice a round, black object nestled in the rear suspension of the car. Something that shouldn't belong there normally. Then I remembered him from Mosport. His helmut was black. Damn that newspaper forever and day!

EDIT: After seeing the hi-res version of Huru-aito's pic (which I seriously suggest everyone does) it has to be him! Try to find all the diferent edits...the car crash, the wheel spikes, the 'South City XXX' the graffiti, the damage on the car/buildings, the helicopter...

Montoya may not be a great F1 driver, but he certainly is a brilliant driver! Well, to get to F1 you have to be, even the worst ones. A good lap, but what cars! Awesome. I wish I was old enough to fully appreciate it back then, I think I might have gone to silverstone that year. I know I went 2 years later!

9-3 with hands wrapped usually too tightly around the wheel, relax Tim! 9 with hand and 3 with just my thumb when shifting, use my fingers to nudge the dfp shifter when changing up gear. Whole hand on (gear :razz knob when changing down, of course!

I don't know the names, but has my favourite one been mentioned...you start, turn 90 degrees right, over a jump then right into a kinda long hairpin (bit more than 180 degrees), then straight until a 90 left, then 180 right, a flick left into a 90 right, along the straight you went on after the long hairpin but the other direction (v.dangerous!), kink right into a jump, then right into the wide starting straight?

Phew, it would have been quicker to look through all the CTRA layouts SamH posted...or only describe a few corners...

Thanks for the apology. I haven't seen any complaints about your driving up 'till now, and you seem like a nice person, (admitting you're wrong can be hard) but your attitude towards this event was completely wrong, and your ban is deserved. Good work Deko! Hpefully this will improve the driving standards of not just those banned...including me, I wouldn't be surprised if I got a warning or mabye a penalty, my driving was awful.
