i think there will be one problem: you have to download hundrets of versions from 10 different tracks.
the problem you can see in rFactor and GTR2 just now.
now we need only 5 clicks to go online and race on every server we want.
if scawen releases a track editor (or someone else) we first have to use google for searching the track required by the server....
the newest gens of hydrogen-oxygen fuel cells have a lifetime of several years and they can reach over 1200kms. VW and Opel are making huge tests here in germany. refuelling is no problem: set on the pipeline, choose how many hydrogen you want and your car is refilled in 20 secs
off topic, try 70° (on 4:3 its a good compromiss) and change your seat position to your favour position.... its driver dependant, you will have to find your own settings
this is a topic i thought much about... the break off wings etc:
i think all carbon and plastic parts on the cars should be breakable (especially the formula cars should be more breakable; nosecones, suspensions, mirrors...). on the road cars i think there should be the ability to break off the bumper bars and the rest bending like now in patch y. and of course: scattering glass
you should know that tuning would go in one way:
ALL RACER HAVE TO USE TUNING PARTS IF THEY WANT TO BE COMPETABLE!
just imagine: you have an xfg, go on ctra... several years we fought with our untuned fwd cars like hell to get good times... now tuning would come into the game... you will have to use max tuning and you will have to acclimate to a fully new car...
now you know why noone wants tuning here? and this is only one argument against tuning.
but there is a possibility to have tuned cars: best example is the xrg. you want an upgrade? better engine? bodykit? USE THE XRT... now you want an upgrade with brutal turbo, sportive look, spoilers? USE THE XRR ^^
you see that in some cases are pre tuned cars
the next thing you should know: the actual average age is 26,28 years (look at LFSW in the LFS racers database)... we are too old for this sh** ^^
i think setupgrid is a lot better than setupfield, because the sets there are better categorized. especcially the SIG is a good thing.
the only thing i miss: i made a setupgrid on your page for my team. i published my sets public before. now they are only available in public SG. would be nice if it would be possilbe to link sets to the own SG which were made by team mates.
i have problems with fraps since i updated to y22.
its only when i use 32 bit resolution and 32 bit skies.
i start fraps and want to capture with 60 fps, but the framerate falls down to 15 fps.
tried with 30 fps: the same: 15 fps
tried with 25 fps: 15 fps
but when i set resolution and skies to 16 bits, all is fine i can capture all framerates.
i didn´t had those problems in y0
