Is there any chance to make it working on openconfigs? Realtime gap is not required, just the gap on splits. Also would be nice to have positions list working there. I guess it is loads of work and I ask too much eh...

Quote from Texpelt88 :Not to stir trouble, but what if you had one of your top contenders get in a wreck, out of their hands, and was forced to DNF? I ask because I think the average starting grid for F1 in 2014 was 24 and only about 41% was allowed points despite running or not. Now, if this applies to the 32 car start of Vires F1 2015 then mathematically only the Top 13 are allowed points.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L ... ip_points_scoring_systems

Now I'm not gonna drill it, or argue, or anythings else of the sort, I only wanted to extend the knowledge of the situation and try to even let the unfortunate drivers fight and attempt to take advantage of somebody else's misfortune even more than given credit.

As a driver, I always hope that for my efforts I am rewarded. As a team manager, I expect that if my drivers put in the effort, they are rewarded. Either way you decide I'd like to note that my driver will not earn points, but his efforts were great: Highest Lap Time stability of the race, despite his problems. May not seem much, but that's me.

There is no any reason to score DNF drivers in this race, as no one covered even 50%. In LFS events usually 75% required (see NDR sporting code for example VII.2.1.a - https://www.lfs.net/attachment/129668 )

Moreover, usually to score the points you need to cross the finish line after the leader done his final lap. Often in online racing points are scored if you have connection loss.

Anyway, there is no real reason to claim for points.

And as long as there are no clarification in Regulations, points are scored only for those who are listed on lfs screen after the finish.

And why the hell you refer to points distribution system? It has nothing to do with the matter.

Quote from Timo1992 :Ok another suggestion: Update of the F1 car, so maybe the current BF1 with 2.4 V8 will be replaced by a 2014 Mercedes W05 Hybrid car with V6 Turbo. Smile

NO! Just add 1 more car, not replace Smile

You can attach your cfg.txt so we can check if you really do use lowest possible setup.

I wonder how do the bigger ones deal with it -- the ebay, steam and others... Their goal is to provide easy-to-use selling and buying service, might be usefull to read their statements on the problem.

And I really don't understand what exactly is the problem for LFS -- the fact that there is some more monkey work to be done? Or is that you don't actually know how exactly do you deal with it? If latter, it sound really bad and at this moment when people are on hollidays already nothing can be really done properly...

Shame Sami couldn't fight Arttu this time. Hope to see some more action for P1 next time ^^

Martin did a great job busting my balls -- managed to start overtaking just before the finish, which luckily for me didn't happen in the end...

Everything (except the first lap mess we caused with Botsi) was fine for me, wish it was same for everyone.

As far as I know the cheapest (if we talk about buying new one) thing one should spend money on is Driving Force GT. Also look here fore some more info: http://en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/Wheels

How do one lower brakes power? I tried Formula Abarath at Blackwood and was locking my wheels like after 3 meters pressing the brakes. It is so painful to drive that way..

Any progress there? I will wait for some success story until I try the stuff myself.

Btw did you try to disable Haze Effect?

Quote from DANIEL-CRO :I didn't look much into forumula cars for now. I do not see the reason to change complete background texture at different rpms, however what could be done is like LEDs which light up as rpm rises or linear gauge if you understand what I mean.

Ye, that will do. But there are lot customisation possible -- different led colors for specific RPM (different texture or just color adjust?), size, margin to each other... Kinda a lot of work to do if you want to make it flexible.

About "/o dash". Is it (or will it be) possible to switch background picture depending on RPM? So that we can make something different for formula cars?

Or maybe there is other way to implement custom indicators?
