RBR can also be modded to have working gauges, but as it's not actually on the dashboard I think it's not valid for this thread, is it?

I found that their pots have way less precision that the originals. You can only use 42 steps/positions instead of 255 (1/6th), but hey, I use this with my feet, they are not so precise either
This leads to a small spiking because it can't use the real position. For example, if you want to use the position 127, it would change between 125 and 131. The jumping is always those 6 deegres due to the way they are build (300 working deegres instead of 70º).
I don't regret the purchase, but I hoped they were identical.

It's true that CMR 1 did not have full cockpit, but from CMR2 and afterwards it was always there.

This is the sentence that lead me to think you didn't want to install it. I don't fully understand it.. If you mean there is no predefined profile for this game, that shouldn't bother you, They are only useful if you don't want to remap the controls into the game, but honestly, it's easier to set up the game than the profiler xD
First of all, without Logitech gaming software (aka Profiler) you won't enjoy much your wheel because you won't be able to set it to 900º.
ETS 2 wheel work perfect with a G27, as it have complete support for clutch, gears (even hi/low range), it lets you adjust deadzone, linearity, etcetera.
In fact, it (will) works as agood as any game released after 2007.
Bose, the relasease date is somewhere between "September and when it's done", they are trying to achieve that goal, I just hope it to be 2012 and I'd be happy

While your post is quite interesting about LFS' security I must empasize this
There is a reason why FS.net forces you to set 2 passwords to play the game, and that is to avoid a full hacking of your account using these kind of programs. People tha use the same pasword on both is increasing a lot their probabilities to lose their account. I must say that I feel less sorry for that people than for the ones that put some effort on securing their accounts.

Totally agree.
I often forget about the fact that downloaded skins have such low-res, and when for some reason I look at what resolution is set my LFS I feel ashamed of reading '512 pixels'. It's not up with the time we live, where everything tends to double it's power/capacity every few years
