Lfs, unlike any other game, has managed to bring so much joy & entertainment into my life for years, online & offline though, that I can't find any words to discribe how glad I am to have had spent so much time with it. It is a Part of my life and part of my personal history that I'm locking back to gladly and proudly, because I was there, had a great time and met a lot of great people that embraced the same passion for this game just like I did. After all, I think, it has turned out to be something different, something unique, and thus, only those who really and fully understand all the reasons behind all that, mostly obvious or ecplained by the devs, are entitled to have the ultimate experience, everytime another major patch hits the fan =)
It wouldn't really end the drug war since it's just one of many illegal drugs. But it would keep a lot of people away from the kind of dealers that are selling more than just "that".
Within controlled condidtions, it would become even less dangerous (again), because some stuff contains a ridiculously high amount of THC, due to excessive crossbreeding and genetic manipulation for instance. The use of toxic fertilizer and eking all kind of stuff into it, in order to make it more heavy/ get more profit from it, is another reason for me to say that it should be considered as a dangerous drug.
But the plant itself, as it has grown for a very, very long time, isn't dangerous at all, at least not if you know how to make use of it, just like with (almost) any other (legal) substance.
It has become illegal at a time when nobody really understood how it actually works inside an organism and now (imo), it stays illegal because the pharma industry won't make as much profit this way, because the (mostly) synthetic drugs (or so called "medicine"), are cheaper and much easier to produce, are sometimes far more addictive, less effective and leading to far more side effects, which can/ must be counteracted with even more drugs...or medicine.
Some stuff I'm not quite sure about is:
1. Would the legal stuff be cheaper?
2. Would this be a reason, for the majority, to buy this stuff, rather than sticking to the stuff they are already used to?
3. What about the harder, illegal stuff? It wouldn't just vanish right?
4. Would the legal status alter the quality of the illegal stuff?
5. et cetera...
Yeah, I've solved it by taking the sound from one of the alpha romeos, since they do sound pretty simular in this game (for whatever reason) ^^, and well, sound mod's usually giving me the same results, or worse .
Got 5.1, set up properly, at least in windows (since there is nothing you can do in-game in this regard) and in some cars (RUF) I can't hear the engine unless I "look behind". I can also barely hear faster cars approaching but while in stereo, everything works like a charm. TDU is the only app/game I have such problems though.
Anyway, I'm really looking foward to TDU2, but I'm afraid it will be again, more or less, more promised than served. I'm still playing TDU (just cruising yo ) and I like the idea of BlakjeKaas about one car and several versions. And in regard to that, not everyone would choose the fastest car just like not everyone does in TDU1. Slow cruises are just as entertaining as the exact opposite to that, and I really hope that this will remain the same. Wouldn't be any fun no more if you really have to do this and that, like gathering points and advancing by driving like a lunatic for instance. It would really kill an essential part of this game and most likely draw away a lot of people as well.
Personally, it doesn't matter where you're from or how old you are, but the quality & content of your replies is what does matter, and lets be honest here, you're a desaster and complete failure in this regard.
Unlike you, I was just joking (hence the use of a smilie...) and I'm also not responsible for the media in my country nor do I represent them. You've made that connection and now you're using it as an argument against me.
