Replay Analyser Tools [RAF Data]: Blessing or Curse?
Ok guys, i know that there's an official thread for one of these "things" (or tools) already but i'd like to discuss their usuage rather than suggesting any improvements.
Im somehow under the impression that some people have got completely mistaken their existence. Im using them myself but i would never use _the exact same setup_ (or just with minor changes, like adding 0,1 "here" and removing -0,0001 "there"...) that someone was using to beat me with, unless i've got permission to do so from the owner, from what i believe, 98% of the people i've seen don't have.
The way i see it, setups are just like skins, creations. Now for skins there are existing some rules, like don't use skins from (other) teams, don't edit (without permission) et cetera. Nothing i know of does exist for setups.
People doing so (using the exact same setup...) really are having a lack of respect in my eyes, are very lazy or maybe just don't know the definition of courtesy, or maybe just a combination of everything, you get the picture. At the same time, it's also very interesting to see, who is able to handle the crucial date we've been given, that we are allowed to have access to, thoughtfully, and who is just exploiting this opportunity for his own benefit -> to gain a WR (or just a faster time than somebody else) without doing much for it (or say, leaving out half of the work that would be needed). Of course, the idea is to benefit from them toolz, they are bringing up a lot of competitors that would never have been able to "raise" (so rapidly) (at least the majority of the people that are not very good at creating setups), under "normal conditions". According to this, the competition itself is unhealthy, since there are a lot of lurkers (some of them are also very ungratful indeed) and maybe much more than actual creators.
For example: One guy, somewhere on top of the WR holders chart, basically never created a setup all by himself but simple took the data of the person holding the WR for the particular combination and copied & pasted it. I mean,...?! What the heck is wrong about creating your own setup (or at least clearly personalizing it), getting to know what everything is about and how it is interacting with eachother?
I believe that a setup is, at least, only and/ or just half the battle. You can be a great driver using a crap (or standard) setup, you'll reach the limit of the car (rather than your personal limits or the actual limits of the car, set up properly for the given conditions/ track...) much sooner and will be, in most cases, no longer competetive. So according to this, the statement: "Its the driver, not the setup." was never really valid, at least for me. It works much better the other way around and of course, in the end, a great driver with a great setup will beat anybody around, no matter if they are using his setup or not. So ultimately, there shouldn't be a problem now should it?
What do you think, am i missing something?

Always save the replay or rename the "temp" file in case you where not able to do so. Send it to the server owner and it will most likely be dealt with quickly and accordingly. Everything else is just a waste of time & space.
Well, since my research was a result of this thread, your'e more than welcome. Thank you i've finally found the perfect watch for me too. 
It's always been the same story with him actually. He never was doing anything wrong but instead, he was trying to shift the blame and act like "the nice guy", regardless the account name of course. Just too bad that most of us aren't as stupid as he think we are.

Tag Heuer, Omega, Zenith & Zodiac are great but pretty expensive. Tawatec and Traser are also pretty cool, although still not in the low budget range.

Well sorry for being too lazy to follow/ research his (recent) background but having some of the videos and his "i dont give a damn" attitude in mind, i would't have had expected him to leave like...that, but to take it like... a man. Maybe he didn't knew who Bruno really was but if he did, then his sense of humor surely needs to be recalibrated. 
He really needs a break, especially from himself.
On topic, the question im asking myself is how the heck can a plane just disappear? I mean, last time i checked, planes are pretty expensive and for aerial transportation corresponding GPS tracking devices aren't, at least comparatively to eachother.

Well depending on the game, a newer graphics cards could give you about 20-50 fps more. Your motherboard and cpu are going to be the bottleneck then. I recently (christmas) changed from 7800 GTX to 9800 GTX+ (still got an old AMD 3800+ 64 X2 system) and it really isn't as much as i have expected but it was worth the buy for several reasons. One of the main reasons would be that i can still use it once i get another, newer rig. Games are running slightly smoother now but as i've said, now the system is the bottleneck .
.Well that might be a possibility. I never had such a device so im not sure really what else to say. Lets just hope that he hasn't actually bought it for using it in LFS.
Have you tried running lfs without the tablet plugged in or even after uninstalling the drivers again? My first guess would be either faulty drivers or a "messed up" installation of them.

It seems to me that you are somehow disconnected from reality.
Have you ever tried to learn from a mistake and been able to make use of that knowledge later on? In other words, if you dont know that you've done something wrong, then how would you want to prevent yourself from doing the same mistake again? That can be applied on a society as well.
