Quote from G!NhO :Wow, too bad that cool cobra is getting sold but you are getting an awesome car back for it :o .

What color is it? And btw the mpg on these things isn't too great AFAIK.

It's black, it is identical to the one in the picture I posted, which is what I made my avatar out of, so basically just look at the avatar, that's it. I also posted a picture of the Geiger Ford GT, because it has the wheels on it that I LOVE, and I've ordered them, from Europe, they don't sell them here. I had absolute hell figuring out what brand they were and how to get them. My tires arrived today from tirerack.com.

Here's what it will look like when the wheels arrive, but for now it's identical to my Avatar:

Yes, the MPG is around the same as my Cobra was actually (The guy came and picked up the Cobra today, and payed off the balance, so the Cobra is looong gone) I've only driven it a little, and I can't tell yet how bad the mileage is, but keep in mind, this is not a street car, although it's street legal, I will rarely drive it on the street. It's for the track, where I raced the Cobra.

Quote from hrtburnout ::jawdrop:

I think this may be the fastest car in the LFS community. Good luck with it, and please keep all four wheels on the road

I dunno if it's the fastest, on a racetrack maybe, but I'm sure there are people here with racecars, so I wouldn't say I have the fastest car here, maybe among the fastest. And don't worry, all four wheels will stay on the road If I were to wreck this car, it would take me a year or two to have it back on the road, I'm self insured. No insurance company in the world would write me a policy on this car...kind of funny.

Anyways the car's great, I'm very happy, but I can't wait till those wheels come, I dunno how long it may take, they told me 2-4 weeks. This thing really is amazing, the handling and the G's it pulls around corners, blows my mind. It's weird, my Cobra had nearly the same power, but this car feels twice as quick, and the tranny and clutch feel amaaaaazing. One romp on the throttle in first, second, or third gear and the ass end wants to come out and play, truly amazing. I hope one day I can test it's top speed, but I just don't see how.
Anyways my dailer driver is my VR6 GTI, and occassionally my Saab...when it runs. God I spend every other weekend under that car and still it does nothing but break.

Quote from dougie-lampkin :Irony much?

Also, you never mentioned warranty. You said the store gave you 30 days to return it, which anyone would assume is a warranty. Also, I can't believe that the manufacturer expects you to send it to them at your expense? The store is obliged to take it back, and send it back to the manufacturer

If the PSU fan doesn't work, why didn't you bring it back straight away, or when it stopped working? And if you've already tested everything else, why haven't you at least tried another PSU? If you know so much about it, and have tried everything else, why are you even asking here

I'm not easily offended by what people say to me either, especially in digital form. If you get so worked up that easily over a piece of advice, I'd highly doubt you're in USMC. And I don't jump down others' throats because they've made an assumption, due to lack of information.

(BTW, you might be a Marine, whoop-dee-doo. That's just internet tough-guy talk. I'm Irish RDF for what it's worth :shrug

No, the 30 days to return it would be the return policy....I just don't get how you don't understand that.
I never said the manu wanted me to send it back at my expense.
The store is not obligated to take it back after I've had it nearly 3 months, when there's only a 30 day return policy!!!!!!
I didn't say the PSU fan didn't work, I said I think it may not be working, I'm testing it at this very moment, I'm on my laptop right now.
I don't have another PSU to test it with, my spare died on my shelf, dunno how.
Dude I was asking here, to get advice, I don't know "everything". Why are you acting like this? I actually want you to answer this question, since I answered all of yours, and in doing so revealed exactly how presumptuous you are.
There was no lack of information. Why can't you just stop posting in this thread? Because you're a crybaby and you gotta get the last word in, well, go ahead and have it. And don't speak of Irish RDF...lol, what a joke. I laugh at that. They strike such fear in their enemies, probably all alcoholics with beer guts; there, that's for calling me a dick.
Wanna prove your the bigger man, stop posting in this thread. If you can't stop, your just a whiny bitch.

You ridicule me because of how I posted my questions and keep on and on like you can't stop. Actually **** this, I was trying to get some insight and you've gotta turn it into some childish bullshit. If you knew how to read, and make sense of what you read, you'd realize what I said what I said, lastly, why would I care if you beleived what I do for a living, like I'll ever meet you, you're not even a person to me, you're an avatar.
So lets see if you can stop posting here, until it's deleted, DICK.

Quote from CSU1 :LMAO!!! Easy there horsey

Lemme explain something, if I were to own you and your PC and network you would be the 'tool' enabling me to access your data, without you being the tool I could have no data....Oh.no.wait! this thread is for teh smart ppl only

smartarse, GFY and your PSU

GFY? Where you from? .... I don't argue on the internet, so I won't play your immature game. You don't tell ppl GFY, are you 13 yrs old? You call me a tool and expect me to overlook that? This is a public board, PM me if you have issues, as will I after this post if you do so. In the meantime, don't insult people for asking for help. Say that to a marine in person, watch what happens.

Quote from dougie-lampkin :The manager is not doing you any favours, despite what he's telling you. Don't take any crap from him about getting credit, it's not your problem at all. It has a warranty, so you can bung it back as faulty with a receipt at any stage within the 5 years, to get a repair, replacement or refund, of your choice (that's your options over here anyway, the least you'rentitled to is a replacement). If the manufacturer doesn't accept returns (which is nonsense, otherwise there wouldn't be a 5 year warranty), it's still your entitlement to get a replacement to a faulty item.

That heat definitely shouldn't affect a PSU, that's only 20°C, which isn't hot at all. Have you probed the motherboard's northbridge and southbridge for temps? I find my northbridge can get very hot during the summer, up in the 60s and 70s, celcius, unless I crank up the fans. Have you checked that all fans are working, including the PSU fan?

Also you should run a memtest, to rule out RAM. You might think it isn't the problem, but our Dell suddenly decided to start randomly locking up until I removed half of its RAM (It came with 256MB, I put in 3GB, exact same specs as the original stuff). It was working fine with the upgraded RAM for about 6 months before the trouble started.

When you say the CPU and GPU temps are fine, how fine is fine after a good Crysis session (I know what you mean about it giving a good workout, it's the best stress test I've found for the whole system )? Have you considered you might be putting it under more stress during the day, than during the night?

If it's not the PSU, it could be literally anything. A PC restarting is such a broad problem, you need to narrow it down. The easiest thing to test is the RAM, as you can run memtest and leave it overnight or whatever. After that you need to carefully monitor temperatures while playing Crysis or whatever to get it worked up. Also, make sure that there isn't a BIOS setting that makes the machine reboot or shutdown if the temps get above a certain value. Unlikely, but it could be

Also, no need to be such a dick to those trying to help you. Nowhere does it mention a warranty in your OP.

What, you think I bought a $200 PSU without a warrenty? C'mon man, I thought you ppl would assume I got a warrenty, how in the world would I not get one?
Okay, here go's. The manager 'is' doing me a favor, the warrenty is a manufactureres warrenty, so technically I should have to send the PSU back to the manu to get it replaced, so he is in fact doing me a favor letting me exchange it, since the exchange policy is 30 days, and it's been nearly 70.

All fans are working, nothing is overheating, I've tested the memory, and also swapped it out with memory I know for certain works. I removed the GPU's to be sure, same issues. I'm absolutely certain heat is the issue, somehow, it only gives me trouble when it's hot in my room. After 3dmark and Crysis my temps are fine, I leave a program I have for monitoringi temps open while I play, when I'm done I can see how hot every part of the PC got, and nothing overheated. And no I don't run the PC harder at night than during the day, I game randomly, day and night.

I think the internal fan of the PSU doesn't work. I'll test that now. Thanks for the advice, and don't ever call me a dick again, that's pretty ignorant, grow up. I may have been a little rude, having been called a "TOOL", and the irony, I get a little offended, and you go ahead and call me a dick, which is worse than what I did. Are you people seriously stupid? Forget it, I don't want your advice. So far I've gotten no valuable advice as is, I've already tested the obvious stuff you've mentioned, and although I appreciate the effort and time you took to post, this is a waste. How dare you call me a dick, you don't know me. Just another pussy talking shit behind the safety of a computer screen. Think about how ignorant it was of you to say that, seriously. You wouldn't like being called a TOOL either, unless it has some other meaning where you dudes are from.

Thanks for calling me a dick. What the hell is wrong with you? I'll ask a mod to delete this thread since you guys can't help but call each other dicks and tools. I hope you see how pathetic it is to say such things on a forum. Don't think for a second it means anything to me, I'm a grown ass man. But I like this forum, and would prefer that language were left off the board. Jeez, grow the hell up ppl, so sad you can get offended by simple text on a computer screen. I can't imagine the type of person you are in real life, maybe you should join the military, let them straighten your smart ass out.

I just picked up one of these. I thought it would take 2-5 years, but we've decided not to have a second child. I've done very well in the market, I guess I'm extremely lucky, but I'd also like to think I made smart decisions. Plus I admit I won a lawsuit, and not a bull$shit one either. I was hit by a Tractor Trailer traveling at 75mph while I was sitting at a stop, so yeah, I deserve every penny I got.

Anyways, this isnt the exact car, but this is exactly what it looks like, identical. I love these cars in black.

For anyone familiar with the Geiger Ford GT, which I'm obsessed with, it has the most badass wheels available for the Ford GT. Very rare, I've ordered them along with tires, so my car will look EXACTLY like this in about a month>>>

Here's a nice view and 1/8 mile run of the Geiger, this will give a better view of what my GT will look like, it will be identical. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4WJGQhFYhI

I'm selling my 2004 Kenne Bell Cobra for anyone that's interested. PM me for info, but it has a Kenne Bell 2.2 supercharger, racing suspension, weight reduction, Brembo brakes all the way around, 4 core radiator, custom tune; Actually you can run it on the street tune and it outputs 556hp at the rear wheels, and you can run it on the race tune, which requires race fuel, and put down around 625-650hp at the rear wheels, depending on the weather. It makes more power in cold weather, as with any forced induction car. I'm asking $35,500 FIRM. Will consider trade plus cash, I'm interested in newer Viggen Saab, VW R32, Nissan 370Z, and a number of Porches, depending what model I may accept a trade, but I don't want anything extravagent, I want cash along with the trade.

Anyways I'll let ya's know how much ass I kick at the racetrack with my new Ford GT. So far I've only been to the drag strip, ran a best of 11.18 at 133mph. But I've ordered a pulley and a few other parts which should get me near 625rwhp after I get it tuned. Stock the GT is 550hp, 500tq.

It has a FIVE year warrenty, I guess this went over your head entirely. What the manager meant was once you pass the 30 days they can't do anything, but since it's an item that Best Buy will get credit for, he agreed to help me out.(Which he's doing as a favor for me, since I've spent a LOT of money there) And I'm not being a tool (whatever the fuk that is...), I'm absolutely certain it's not a virus. Why would a virus ONLY act up when the computer gets hot...c'mon man, I've been working with computers a long time, I just wanted input on this. I'm looking for advice, not pointless posts about being a tool from people that are clueless.
Difference between electric/mechanical oil guage

A friend want's to install an oil guage in his car, and he needs to know the difference between an electric and mechanical one, and also how to install the electric one. And would one be better than the other, and/or easier to install? Can anyone give me a tip, I have one in each of my cars but had them installed for me while having major work done to each car, so I never had to do it myself. Thanks much in advance.

As for what type of vehicle it is, I think it's a newer minivan ( yeah I know like what's the damn point right...but he wants to)

So, I recently bought a 850watt, Thermaltake Black Widow Power Supply from Best buy. I got it middle of February, worked great until about 3 weeks ago. Here's my problem, and question, I'll be brief.

My computer is randomly freezing, but more commonly restarting on it's own, and rarely, it simply shuts off. All of my temps are good, CPU, GPU, and a few other temps my little application called "HardwareMonitor" tells me about. Basically my temps haven't changed at all, before the install of this PSU, and after.

At first I wasn't sure what the problem might be, because when I upgraded, I upgraded my power supply, video card, and memory. Well, I'm certain the video card is fine, I just don't see how it could cause this. My memory wouldn't cause "all" of this behavior, and I "NEVER" get errors, none at all, just the problems I spoke of above.

So, it must be the power supply correct? Also, it's much worse when the weather is hot, this has only happened once when the temperature in my house was below 70*F. However, we had a heat wave the last 5 days leading up till today, and it was constantly restarting on me during the day, however, at night when it cooled off, it didn't happen, at all.
In fact, about 30 minutes ago was the very first time it gave me trouble when the tempurature was below 70, in fact it was 69*F in here when it happened. I'm on the PC right now, just ran 3dMark 06, and played some Crysis(Crysis gets this machine hotter than anything else).

I called best buy, and even tho I'm past the 30 day return/exchange policy, the manager agreed to exhance my power supply (Which was $199.99us btw) because he said it's one of the few items he can return to the manufacturer and get credit for. So tomorrow I'm gonna take out my PSU, and go grab another.

!!!! Does anyone have any idea's what it could be, "just in case" it's not the PSU, and I wind up with the same issues with my new power supply? I'm posting this now so I'll hopefully have answers by the time I get my new PSU tomorrrow, and I turn out unlucky and have the same problems with the new PSU. THANK YOU soo much in advance fella's, I can't live without this machine. I don't just game on it, I'm an audio engineer and I have a lot of work to do, and my laptop isn't powerful enough to run Pro Tools, nor does it have firewire, USB 2.0 isn't fast enough to avoid lag with my Mic's and MIDI interfaces.

Thanks again, Dave

Dunno know if it counts as a purchase, but I just had my 2004 Mustang Cobra dyno'd and tuned, again. I want to be able to run a race tune, and not just my street tune. Now I can run the race tune, and run around 625rwhp, versus the street tune of 556rwhp. I got a great price because I had it tuned at the same shop that did all my work, like installing the Kenne Bell supercharger, clutch, flywheel, aluminum driveshaft, suspension, brakes, exhaust, wheels, jeez, everything you can think of lol. Man what an investment, this thing pulls like a rocket now woot!! Of course not on pump gas, the street tune uses 93 octane, but the race tune I have to use higher octane fuel, expensive, so I won't run it often, only at the track. Except that I coudln't help it and had to drive it around town on the race tune just to see what it would be like, absolutely sick!! So much fun these cars, if you don't mind spending the big $$ on suspension, brakes and weight reduction, otherwise ya can't compete with the Z06's.

I'm thinking it's something simple. No hardware failure at all, just because of how it's been explained.

Like the post above says, and others, uninstall the GPU drivers and get rid of anything left behind, like, using driver cleaner. Do pretty much the same for the game, and if you're using an old config or save game, back them up and remove them, let it create them both from scratch. If you're running fraps at windows startup, or otherwise, be certain it's closed. To be safe I'd install the latest version of DX9 and just let it run and write anything it winds up writing, if anything, yes even if you're running Vista.

I can't stress enough how important it would be to verify everything from the old installs and drivers are gone. In Nvidia Control Panel set settings to default, both global and for each game. Repeat if you use Nhancer or anything.

So I finally decided to install this pack, the full install. Damn I'm glad I did, wish I'd had it all along, but the old GPU couldn't handle it all at my resolution. The difference is serious, I could never go back. The tarmac looks so sweet at a stop, up nice and close, so sharp. Now I want to setup a nice bloom effect, I'll have a look around for that. Also I wanted to benchmark, mostly out of curiosity, and it cost me only 3% FPS, interesting, obviously my CPU is my bottleneck.

Great work!!

Quote from chavm481 :soo what happens if i just just dont have enough?

In my experience the system will reboot on you, sometimes randomly, other times it's obvious, like when trying to run a game or 3D app. IMO an 8600GT would be fine, they use very little power and run off the PCI-E slot, no power adapters. Although, I'd grab a cheap PSU, the post above perhaps ^^^^ and throw it in, I doubt you'll even draw 200 watts total with that system, with an 8600 installed.

I just ordered new tires for my GTI VR6, so I went ahead and tried this. I admit I've never tried this, certainly not to the extent explained here.

I got it to work just fine after a few tries, but IMO it's too hard on the tires, even tho mine were nearly bald (which is why I didn't mind doing this). I did actually get a bit of the snap effect, into the corner, and although I kinda liked that, I don't like the severity of it, and I really honestly believe if I did this on any track with any of my cars it would get me rear ended, when battling. I can only imagine in a real race.

I'm happy I was able to do it, and liked the high G snap effect (this is hard to explain, at the end of the maneuver the car pulls extremely hard into the apex, and IMO caused inaccurate online driving, aka off center corner entry, and washed off far too much speed every time, and my tires weren't even good) But in the end, I would never do it, I don't like it at all, and I don't find it any faster, in fact, I found it to be slow; but I admit this could be a result of my limited experience doing this, still IMO I don't believe I could ever be any faster doing this, and I generally keep an open mind, I especially love learning and absorbing.

My GTI has a pretty damn aggressive setup, but doesn't handle quite as good as the Saab, I'll try this with the Saab, and compare it to the GTI, that way I've tested two very different FWD cars, both setup pretty well for the track.

I REALLY want to try this with the Cobra, but no way, somehow I just know it's going to be sloppy as hell, and I'm gonna slide off the road, and even tho it's a closed road, I still don't want to destroy my car. Besides, IMO this won't do any good in my particular RWD car, maybe in a racecar, but I'm certain this would be an absolute mess in my Cobra. (Besides I admit I use the power to be lazy and smoke ppl no matter how perfect I corner, but I'm trying to get better) I want to drive like Jeremy Clarkson, but to this day, I have not ONCE tried to power oversteer my car at the speeds he does, I just don't have the guts, nor do I trust myself. Maybe I'll rent a RWD car and try it... hehe.

I played around with the car for a few hours this evening, had some free time, and find the car very interesting and challenging. I've decided I flat out don't like it. A good car should be well designed, so the driver can focus on less things, making him less likely to make a mistake. The RAC is a handful no matter the setup, it's just too easy to make a simple mistake, it requires incredible patience and focus, and memorization. The chassis is just, bizzare, there's no other way to describe it. Letting off the throttle only slightly, say 10%, on uneven pavement will send the car out of control, and I mean the kind you cannot recover from. I even tried a very very friendly setup and ran at about 85% pace, and all the problems were always present, they never go away. All you can do is add a bunch of rear toe, but it doesn't fix the problem, only covers it up. Making the car completely useless IMO, except for qualifying or a sprint.

Some cars are rough, and tough to drive, and the challenge is what makes them great. IMHO the RAC just isn't one of these, for me, it's more like a disabled car, and when you're driving, you're simply doing your best to nurse the car around without wrecking. It has terrible turbo lag, a short wheel base, the only positive things I an say about it is it can be fun to rag race at times, and it looks okay. But is just too small, as light as it is, the weight gets thrown around so easily. Who knows maybe someone else can figure this car out, I doubt it, it just feels broken.

Quote from MijnWraak :It was my understanding that the 9800gtx+ was manufactured with 65nm tech, but the gts 250 was the one with 55nm. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty certain. (btw, would it be worth getting 1gb version instead of 512mb if I run 1440x900?)

on topic: XFX 7600 GT XXX

http://www.dvhardware.net/article28059.html

The GeForce 9800GTX cards are all 65nm. However Nvidia moved to 55nm and called them the 9800GTX+. These cards are far superior, much higher clock speeds, I mean, majorly higher clocks, less heat, less power, huge overhead for overclocking. The true reason for Nvidia going to the 55nm process with the 9800GTX+ was actually a test bed for the upcoming GTS 250. It's identical to the 9800GTX+ 1GB, except that they bumped the memory up to 1100, so 2200, versus the 9800GTX+ 2000mhz. Although virtually everyone who owns a 9800GTX+ has overclocked the memory to at least 2200 with ease, with very little tempurature change, these cards are kick ass at 55nm.

Quote from NikLaw :It´s the 9800 GTX+ with a new label. The only difference is that the new card comes definitely with 1100 Mhz memory speed whereas the 1 GB version of the 9800 GTX+ has only 1000 Mhz.

I read an article, I wish I could say where, it's been over a month, about this, the big talk was about Nvidia using the G92 again lol, but the word is basically the same all around, even with the majority of consumers, as long as the performance go's up, it's priced properly and so competes very well with ATI both in price and performance, it's not a problem. Had they not made the move to 55nm, this never would have happened. Many people don't realize, they didn't move the 9800GTX(+) from 65 to 55 "only" for the 9 series, it was a test bed for yet another card(s). IMO G92 was and still is pretty sick, especially at 55nm now, it's just awesome, I don't mind seeing it around still, I like it so much I bought two of the BGF GTX+ 1GB versions, knowing the memory was a little slower, but also knowing the sick amount of headroom for overclocking. I easily got the performance beyond that of the 512MB versions using Rivatuner, and the tempuratures are still so impressive I dunno what to say. It's like the perfect video card. Unless you have a giant monitor, I can't suggest any other card, not even for a casual gamer, the cost is just too perfect.
I haven't retested the "difference" in temps since installing the second card and running them both at 2200mhz instead of 2000mhz, but my temps are nice and cool always, neither card has ever hit 70c, not even when I fooled around and bumped the core clock to 800mhz. That was just foolin' around, I've left the core and shader clocks alone. The core clock on these cards is already kick ass so I haven't bothered, and the shader clock is even more impressive, so I've left that alone as well. I only did the memory so I could reach the 70GB/sec memory bandwidth. I only play at 1680x1050 but I do plan on 1920x1200, which is the only reason I bought the second card, otherwise one was plenty of power, even for Crysis. Man oh man do these two cards run great, and for less money than one Radeon 4870 hah. <Not knocking the 4870, badass chip right there, rips games apart no doubt, good luck with drivers though wink:

I certainly hope those of you who bought GX2 cards didn't get them for the purpose of running LFS... Those cards are for running high end DX9/DX10 first person shooters in extremely high resolutions with graphics maxed out, including AA.

(EDIT) lol Sorry I made a very long post, if you're bored go ahead and read, it's just my opinion, well kinda, on why I run what I'm running. On topic, Nvidia: BFG GeForce 9800GTX+ 1GB OC
Myself I had the choice to buy whatever I wanted. My tax guy made some huge mistakes last year, H&R Block caught on to it, and I got an extra $3,700 on top of my regular return this year. And since I've been very careful and living on a tight budget, and I've finished modding my mustang cobra, I was able to get whatever I wanted. I did the research, plus (im not willy wagging, but..) I really do know a lot about video cards and what is really needed, depending what kind of system ya have, and what size monitor you use, also if you plan to upgrade to a larger monitor, etc etc.

Anyways, I realized that one 9800GTX+ would be plenty for me, even for Crysis. The GTX+ version is incredibly superior to the regular GTX, not only at stock speeds, but you can overclock the hell out of the GTX+, that is, if the vendor you bought it from didn't already, most of them do, cause they're 55nm, whereas the regular GTX is 65nm, it's actually a huge difference, more than I ever thought possible.

So, I bought one, it ran every single game I own, and I own many, I'm always searching for specials/sales and so I have almost every FPS game ever released lol. Anyways, the only game it couldn't sustain 60fps+ with max graphics (oh,and I don't use AA in FPS, not necessary when you're running a high resolution. I'm running 1680x1050, on a 20" LCD, not a 22", so tighter, smaller pixels, only old games need AA forced on, and especially LFS, although it's not a FPS so nm that's off topic) sooo...as I was saying, the only game I coudln't run and sustain at least 60fps with graphics maxed was Crysis, of course. But, with everything on high, at my native resolution, already mentioned, and no AA, and 16xaf(I max AF on every game, period) it averaged around 40-50fps in wooded areas, beach areas, stuff like that. But near towns and stuff, it would struggle some and average around 25-35fps, 25fps being when there's a LOT going on, like the absolute worst situations. Which is actually quite good, but since the card was so cheap, and BFG has lifetime warrenties, and I liked it just, sooo much compared to other cards I've ever owned (Price vs performance best ever, with the 7600GT SC in 2nd), I couldn't help it, and I bought a second one, so now I can run anything maxed out, and I should be able to do so for a good 4 years. Two 9800GTX+'s in SLI, even if you don't overclock, are killer. I murder Crysis no problem. 60fps all the time, when nothing is going on I get amazing frame rates, and when in towns where all crazyness is happening, or say the snow level, it still stays around 60 fps, and I only paid, what, like $270, that's unbeatable. I didn't even consider a GTX 200 card, I'm not buying another video card, period, until Nvidia finally supports DirectX10.1, and therefor will support DX11, which will be a while, sadly, DX10.1 doesn't have better graphics, but the performance enhancements over regular DX10 is badass. Which is my only beef with Nvidia right now. ATI I love too, I'm not biased, but I'm tired of hearing about their driver problems. But I think I'll buy another ATI card one day, who knows, perhaps even my next upgrade. Other than my GPU, which absolutely has to be the best bang for buck right now, with the radeon 4850 right there with it, the Radeon 4870 is an absolute beast, my only issue was the price. The performance is good, but it's not superior enough to my GTX+ to justify the extra $110 at the time. AND, no way in hell will I attempt to run a Crossfire setup anytime soon, I hear nothing but absolute hell about it, while Nvidia is well proven and I know myself works flawlessly.

OMG LOL, I'm sorry I didn't mean to just write on and on like that, I lost track of time and I'm bored waiting for my girl to get home. Anyways, Nvidia

Just made more huge upgrades, and added the second 9800GTX+ 1GB OC, along with the new cpu and ram. (In sig)

1680x1050. My system is probably overkill, but I'm waiting to get a higher res monitor.

I went ahead and upgraded now rather than wait, and I'm so happy I did. See specs for new hardware. This new Phenom destroys the 6400+, and I'm loving the DDR 3 ram, it runs like more than twice the speed of my old PC 6400 memory. Now I don't have any bottlenecks.

I'll be getting the Phenom II, the best one I can afford, with the best ram, and a SLI board that supports ddr3 RAM. Almost there, just waiting on a few things. The Phenom II is next, hopefully the best one. The 6400+ was great while it lasted, but games are becoming more and more threaded, so Iw w
