Almost every day I counter one of these at the way back home and somehow I feel the roughly my aged male driver who wears sunglasses and drives fast a bit funny in that car, even though I could easily buy the same car if I had the money
But nevertheless, UK is the promised land of Swifts, Saxos and Clios
btw. that's fifth post this week that involves (harmless) jokes about foreign countries
But once again, are we driving today's MRT / RAC / BF1 or the one that was made into the game?
And you don't really need the dashboard at all once you learn to recognise shifting points by engine noise.
Looked so nice in Taavi's still image comparison.
But when driving it's really really stupid no matter how I try to set it up. Blooms the menu too. I've seen enough
I was bored at work, and made a rough finnish translation. I don't use this program, but if some finn does and wants to translate it, feel free to take a head start and just correct where I may have failed. (obvious spots marked with a question mark)
Depends on your budget, but I'd say that the Logitech G25 has the best value for money. (To get any better than that you have to triple your budget). If G25 is too expensive, go for a used Logitech Driving Force Pro .
Oh the irony - a chinese criticizing western media...
Now we just need the Americans to tell about invading another countries - oh they arrived already
Now that's something that could be added if you ask me. Already possible with external tools but I'd like to see more analyzing possibilities included in the game itself.
But now you are talking about another thing, which is unrealistic, stupid and hopefully not going to happen ever, nor in F1 or in LFS.
The slow cars in CTRA 1 make races more tighter, but also easier and thus most of the grid tend to overdrive and not consider others enough.
You have finished 1 / 13 races on CTRA, causing about two yellow flags per each driven lap and are looking for cleaner racing? No offense, but the best and easiest way to have cleaner races is to look in the mirror and think about what are you doing wrong.
Apart from drag starts (combination of clutch slip and tyre spinning, I've understood that autoclutch does this well ) I can't see why the clutch couldn't be an on/off button. The game should be accessible for keyboarders of course, but that doesn't require auto blips, cuts, clutches, braking, throttle or steering help...
Inspired by bladerunner, I took that Nilex XFG set to Blackwood, started with full gas, flatshifted for 5 laps lifting the gas only when braking, even made a full throttle pit stop but couldn't heat it to red (even though it slipped a little bit after 10 minutes of brutal abuse).
Of course it's very very easy to heat up if you try it, you can really do it in 5 or 10 seconds. But you have to be a complete retard to accidentally fry it during a race. And now after that experiment I'm even more certain that it shouldn't cool down if it's red!
