Pooring evil rain outside. Studybooks, a big cup of hot chocolate and three bags of M&M nuts in front of me... may the race been sweet and the broadcast be flawless, cause I'm ready to spectate!
The FXR is much easier to handle and control, which makes it for the driver a lot easier to drive 2 hours with it compared to a very attention demanding FZR or hard on the rears XRR. That said, I personaly wouldn't mind some more competitive FXR - then I can convince the team to make the switch to it
Kind of stupid that Baguette can do the test drives, while our obvious fastest Belgian at that level being D'Ambrosio, who has beaten Kobayashi in GP2 several times, doesn't even get a testing for F1. Guess only the money counts...

I was more thinking on their public image of being super hightech, like they said it it seemed to me like every Japanese is using Blue-Ray, while for example in my country normal video's or simple DVDs are still common in use.
Someone saw the European Superstock 600 championship ? Just saw a review from that on Motors TV. Don't like motorcycle racing mostly, but wow, this was a thrill! Great passing passes, really on the edge racing (how do they keep control of such monsters in those turns!) and championship decission in the last turn of the last round... 1 point difference only. Nuts, kids from 15-20 years old... Need to have balls for this racing!
Some Youtube footage found, but it's only from 2008... Just one race, but 2009 was a lot more exciting.
Actually, it's also educational and historical. I didn't know about a lot of those crashes until I saw this video. At least now I've also seen 'the other side of motorsport' as well on a respectful and fitting way.
nfinity racer Daryn "Dizzy" Lobb races meets the Porsche Supercup champion Jeroen Bleekemolen at the final 2009 Shelby Can-Am round at the beautiful Kyalami track... all about it on our website!

Eh, seriously... 5-6 crashes in one and the same turn, wrecked cars standing there already and audience not moving at all... isn't there some race control or such to warn those racers to take it slower in that one turn ?
