I think the FXR is a lot too slow. The Restriction of the FXR should be reduced by 1 % generally and i think on this track even 2% would be fair.
FXR is more than 1 second slower than the other cars on this track.....

The FXR is much easier to handle and control, which makes it for the driver a lot easier to drive 2 hours with it compared to a very attention demanding FZR or hard on the rears XRR. That said, I personaly wouldn't mind some more competitive FXR - then I can convince the team to make the switch to it

Someone saw the European Superstock 600 championship ? Just saw a review from that on Motors TV. Don't like motorcycle racing mostly, but wow, this was a thrill! Great passing passes, really on the edge racing (how do they keep control of such monsters in those turns!) and championship decission in the last turn of the last round... 1 point difference only. Nuts, kids from 15-20 years old... Need to have balls for this racing!

Some Youtube footage found, but it's only from 2008... Just one race, but 2009 was a lot more exciting.

Actually, it's also educational and historical. I didn't know about a lot of those crashes until I saw this video. At least now I've also seen 'the other side of motorsport' as well on a respectful and fitting way.

I think the present debate should be more LFS vs iRacing than LFS vs Rfactor. Cause Rfactor can't even tip LFS nor iRacing.

What's a good price these days for a (new) G25 ?

Thinking of upgrading from my MS Sidewinder FF. Still a perfect working wheel without any scratches, but I've been told that the G25 is a much better wheel; better pedal reactions, better FF, more feel with the ingame happenings and more fun with the shifter. G27 is too expensive for my student budget and there are not much other options I believe, aside Fanatec, though I'd rather get a G25 then for no real reason...

I do have a small, somewhat unsteady table. Parents once bought a 'computer closet' for me, but the keyboard-mouse placing part is so fragile and bowed like this, can't hook up the wheel under it.. Would it work for a G25 ? Or would the small own made table hold the G25+shifter, is it heavier than a MS Sidewinder FF ? Also, is 71cm lenght enough for the wheel+shifter ?
