This makes me think it has nothing to do with network but maybe something with saving the unlock. Maybe some 'security'-tool prevents writing to registry? Or your windows-account does not have the rights? Something like that...
(I think if somebody wants to update the list, it will be better to copy it to wiki-manual. And also host images on the wiki.
So it will be more future-proof than random filehosting sites and easier to update.)
There are some black borders around the video. Often video tools add those when clips have different resolutions, for example the intro and the race scenes.
It is also good to set LFS to same resolution as you want to export later, I always set LFS to windowed at 1280x720. (via config file)
There was a thread about automatically wrapping decals with Cinema 4D: https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/89032 - "Making Skins with Projection UV Reversing"
What also might work with that GT logo is to place on side of the car, and cut along the edge where it overlaps over the 'seam'. Then move/rotate the cut-off part of logo onto the neighbouring car-part.
I did that for some skins and it worked okay..I think the eyes on MRT were along a seam on skin too:
However I think on Fo8 it is not possible to make a logo wrap nicely from the side to the top, because the car has this overhangs at the side.
How much clearer can it be:
"Please only buy an S3 license upgrade if you feel it's worth it to use Rockingham right now."
By now everyone should be familiar with development-process/speed.
Everyone who bought S3 knew excactly what they were getting.
You comment a lot on things that you do not use..do you parrot what others said?
How is it possible to have only 150 laps (about 3 hours playtime spread over four years) if you are even the smallest bit interested in online racing?
More posts on forum than finished races. The less people play the louder they are..
It has now happend a few times that I wanted to save a replay but the race/quali restarted while I was typing the save-name. The countdown is too quick sometimes..
Also then you can not save the next replay either, because you have now already saved a 1-second replay.
Suggestion:
When the save-dialog is openend, create a copy of replay-file and rename that once OK is clicked.
Where excactly do you want to play VR games?
Remember it is not like playing normal games on smartphone, you have the display mounted on head and can not see anything. So it is not practical to use in almost every situation where people typically play games on phone.
A problem when comparing to the F1 thermal images is that they never include a temperature scale.
We do not know at what temperatures it fades to next colors. The color-mapping might not even be linear and could be different between races or teams..
thanks, fixed. The MRT race at Fernbay will be on 22 October.
The schedule had slightly changed after I had already entered it into LFS-calender.
Generally the calender on league website is the official one.
(Also in LFS-calender it says the XFG-Cup uses 10minute-qualification but that is just because it is not possible to enter one-lap-qualification mode which is actually used.)
Not sure if regular events are worth posting because it is calender and subforum anyway? Anyway:
I race the AB.nl events almost every sunday, and this evening too.
Second season of the ABC-Cup!
As one might remember, the ABC-Cup means racing the XFG in three different specs:
Spec A: (190 kg ballast) - red class tag
Spec B: (95 kg ballast + 6% air intake restriction) - blue class tag
Spec C: (13% air intake restriction) - green class tag
(C restriction increased by 1% compared to last season)
Drivers have to use their choosen configuration for the whole season.
wikipedia lists 78 games using Denuvo.
51/78 are listed as cracked.
The ratio does not look so good for Denuvo.
It looks worse when you consider of the uncracked ones:
--3 are not released yet
--5 were released very recently (between 3-14 days ago)
--a few are console-only (probally harder to crack)
The goal is not to have unbeatable protection anyway.
Protection works because video games make the most money in the month after release. The protection only needs to delay piracy for a month or two and then it has done its job.
For example FIFA 16 is supposedly uncracked, and it might remain uncracked because FIFA 17 (which is cracked) already exists. And soon FIFA 18 will be released.
Similiar with the uncracked Need for Speed from 2015: Since then two new titles of the series have been released and a third one is announced.
For me monday would fit best. But on mondays is also cesva that I wanted to race but often could not make it in time.
If sunday is most popular, currently the AB-calender has some free days that were meant for special races/cup. Maybe it is possible to coordinate the dates? See pm @ rony.
